Blossoms and Bubbles

Effervescent laughter blows over vales
then falls soft to glaze new blooms posed genteel.
Gracious stems lift smiles to foamed skies surreal,
riding on sunrays of shimmery sails.

Splendid dreams bubble up from blossoms bright,
a sparkling scene as petals parade ‘round.
Cushioned on spring breeze, love waits to be found;
warm thoughts of you fly then burst in midflight.

Light bubbles join hands to soar through puffed clouds
winking at flowers in latest spring styles.
Their joy christens lands once silent for miles;
orbs popping with flair in breath’s blooming shrouds.

Laughter lifts skyward, an aerated tale,
of bubbles blown high above blooming vale.

He is the Night

He winks as the moon winks. His eyes twinkle as the stars sink low just for him. They are drawn in fascination to his unique charms (as in a magical sky, am I ). He is one with night, he is He is the thrill of new beginnings and the trusted intimacy of time. Masks worn in hours of day, at dusk, slip away Our connection grows in starry night glow. Like the brightest constellations, we fly, oh, how we fly! Complete am I in his eyes. We are one, one in our dreams. We are weightless and free. The Big Dipper scoops us up into an infinite sky of brilliance On our quest to reach Polaris, he is my guiding light. I am complete, I am greater than my past and its disguise. I am greater in his tender sight We are greater as one in our flight. All the rows of houses below us, silent in their sleep, awaken to our ecstatic cries of passion We are shooting stars. In the wink of the moon, who knows its dependence on the light of a distant sun, I know my flame will die, without his inner light. We are one, one love tonight.

The Lovers

How gently darkness lays itself upon the restless sea,
While breezes scented cool and clean, are blowing wild and free.
When moonlight's blush fades gradually and hides its ash white face,
A thousand candles dimly lit, now frame the soft embrace.

All through the night with spirits bright as shameless dreams unfold,
'till sunlight makes the darkness break to show the story told
Tempest waters calm and smooth, stillness now the sea,
Sky and water bound in love-- as lovers, you and me.

Smoke Rings

      Smoke Rings
If she wanted to stay he would make her a place,
for he loves ev'rything that she is,
and he'd willingly give all the world and the stars
for her love--if they only were his.

But he likes it alone, and in silence he knows,
if he wants, he can talk to the moon,
or hear voices at bars, or the children he loves,
and if wanting to go--he'll go soon.

Or to stay if he choose, for the night is still young,
but she's there, and he's wanting to say
all the words in his heart--but he's holding them back
and the night is much colder than day.

So he goes to someone who's no danger to ways
though he smiles, he is really not there
and he wants to forget, but he wants to live on,
if she stays or she goes, he will care.

And the one he is with, sees the love in his eyes,
and she knows it's not hers anyway,
but the ones' who was late, and the one who will go,
and the one he will never let stay.

If he asks and she stays, he'll go off the deep end,
and he knows she loves silence--as he;
and she stays for a while, til the silence is deep,
and the end is the end that must be.

But she looks at the floor when he wants her to see,
and she goes when he wants her to stay,
but the words are not there, and he watches her go,
with the thought that it must be this way,

but he smiles in his heart--for he's known her at least,
and he's loved--and has found love is good,
and the end that he feared, he prevented in life,
though he wonders if he ever should.

And the journey is long--he'll look back on her face,
and he'll think, many times, there it goes!
and he'll always regret; for it's always alive,
and she's part of his life, and he knows.

And the others who see--feel the same for their own,
and they wonder why he doesn't try,
but it's smoke rings they see; or a bird in their hand
that is wanting to fade in the sky.

And the sky will embrace ev'rything in the end,
and the things that we see are a mask,
and the smoke rings that fade to the will of the sky
are in love--and the sky didn't ask.

The Sun

An ethereal warmth, I once attain
A grasp of peace to grace the rain
With every drop, a fervent bliss,
A smile, a godsend from your lips

I shall meet you there,
In the poet's dream
In an evergreen forest
By a laughing stream
Remembering every life we lived,
Admitting every grief we grieved
Each vision beaming, melting true,
To the weeping sky, bursting blue
I will not hold you to just a thought
To a frivolous muse illusion begot

I will hold you in my love, real as can be
I will wake to you, the sun, rested and free

-To Jack Ellison, my much needed sunshine
Thank you for inspiring me!

The Pearl

The moon was a pearl - a large white brilliant pearl of a moon precious like the one I adored as it shone down on us from the sky. The sky was a sea - a broad expanse of midnight blue as deep as the love we made deep in a night swimming with shimmering myriads of stars. And the stars were fish - beautiful shimmering star-fish as bright as the glow in his eyes - those eyes that gazed into mine deep into the night of the beautiful sky - that broad expanse of midnight blue - the sea into which we gazed so deeply in love as the moon met our gaze - the moon that shone down on me and my love most precious - Oh, night of the large, white brilliant moon - the pearl. Night sky

Behold, a crack in the sky...
Its a star ! And then it multiplies...
A thousand million
 silver twinkling confetti...
Galactical milk in celestial ballet
Your white bedazzle takes the breath away
Soapsudded moon and underwater candellabra
In an ocean of quiet delivery
Oozes a rhapsody, nay a symphony!
Gliding on golden orbital slide
A bridal comet gown on fluted notes
MAGNIFICAT! MAGNIFICAT! MAGNIFICAT!

Sky Dancing

Looked out my window,
and saw a wondrous sight
Two cardinals in flight,
aerial dancing
Perfect mid-air pirouettes,
spiraling higher and higher
Two winged bodies in motion as one
They reminded me of you and I,
my love,
when we danced on the clouds,
among the stars that night
We fell in love that night,
sky dancing with you was sheer delight
We felt light as a feather,
floating above the trees
Our eyes gazing into each other eyes,
falling in love, rising higher
on a summer breeze through the skies
We danced so close together
until the morning sunrise
Night turning into day,
as we danced the night away
I never wanted to come down that night,
wishing with all my might
we could dance in the air again
Today, I looked out my window,
and saw a beautiful sight..
two love birds sky dancing
in the sunlight

You Are My Sky, And I, Your Softest Blue

You Are My Sky, And I, Your Softest Blue

I hold this, thy sweet image close and fast
In memory seas, sailing to me at full mast
Soon shall come this soul to thy heavenly rest
Are my prayers for our Love in each request
My life lived, only to one day be with you
You are my sky, and I, your softest blue

Precious are those days we once danced
Living for each moment each hour we romanced
Thy kiss, nectar that my dreams now gift
Now I often pray my passing be swift
For my love burns hotter each lonesome day
In thy glowing love embers, I seek to play

I await sweetest moment of our first reunion kiss
That smile and thy touch I now so miss
Darling, my love, please pray my departure soon
I long for thee again this sad month of June
Our Love's fire yet burns, I allow no cold ashes
Nor destroying storms that true Love crashes

I hold this, thy sweet image close and fast
In memory seas, sailing to me at full mast
Soon shall come this soul to thy heavenly rest
Are my prayers for our Love in each request
My life lived, only to one day be with you
You are my sky, and I, your softest blue

The Puppet Master

Once upon a time there was a puppet master.
Who was very lonely and wanted something to love.
So he decided to make the heavens and the earth.
Earth was empty and dark.
Then he made the light into a big ball called day.
The darkness called night.
Later he put a sky up so high and clouds that looked like cotton
Since there was too much water on earth he separated it in two parts.
Making one land and the other called the sea.
The puppet master saw that it was good.
Going all around the land he planted vegetation, trees, fruit and many other
things.
Looking at everything that he had done and saw it was good too.
He separated the day from night.
Made signs to mark seasons, days, and years.
Two lights were made over the earth.
One which shined all through the day called the sun.
A night light called the moon was the second light.
The clouds in the sky played with the sun all day.
Made the moon feel lonely and wanted someone to play with.
He thought about giving the moon some friends.
Therefore he made the stars to dance with the moon at night.
Everything he made was good and still wanted something to love.
Then he made creatures to live in the water, land, and in the sky.
Blessed them the gift to multiply.
Different kinds of animals where made in every part of the earth.
He liked all the things he had made and saw it was good.
However he still couldn’t find something to love.
Thinking over and over what else to make.
He looked in the mirror to see his own reflection.
An idea that he never thought of came to mind.
To make an image that looked like him.
A man who would rule all over the sea and the land.
A woman to be by his side and to share the earth.
Then it was done just like that.
Blessed them to be fruitful and to increase in number.
He gave them all the seed-bearing plants to eat.
All the creatures that moved on the ground, water, and the sky belonged to all
mankind.
He found his love and saw it was good.
His play was complete and so was he.

Your Beauty Touched My Sky

When your beauty touched my sky the flowers bent my way engulfing me in a fragrance that I now know as you   The lilac and the lavender it moved around my soul bringing comfort to the romance begging to make our home   Wrap your arms around my kindness let your heart beat soft and free breathe into the sunshine in this dance of you and me

Oh Luna

Oh Luna

Oh Luna, I am watching you
     rise in eastern skies.
Your fullness fills my heart
     with romantic thoughts
As I serenely bathe in your
     charming reflective glow,
I know there are lovers every-
     where gazing in awe
Of your exquisite enchanting
    allure causing hearts
To beat with a thrilling rhythm
     of inner love songs
That captivate the heart and
     soul, imbibing imagery
Of silent shadows and distant
     stars that drape your
Indigo sky in shimmering star-
     light from light years
Passed, and as shooting stars
     brighten night skies,
They are reflected as you are
     in lover's longing eyes.

Love in my veins

Your love flows through my veins
like the Nile River flows through
the sands of Eygpt.
Love flows through my veins
like rivers that break off into endless streams
and water the gardens of the green stems
of torn covered rose bushes.

In my veins, you flow, as a sparrow
flies through the blue skies in beauty.
You are the blood that flows through my veins
and later settles deep in my heart
and embraces me with a hug of intimace.

Love flows through my veins
like endless notes played by the sweetest composer
along with his private orchestra playing a lovely melody.
Rivers, streams break off and flow into lakes and oceans,
Like my veins that lead to my heart,
you are always there flowing through my veins.
Your love flows through my veins.

The Wall, The Wall

The Wall, The Wall

I
the world fades from my fingertips
like blood oozing from an open wound
the sky is ripped apart and full of thunder
and my eyes are twisted in pain

shut the door and lock me within
the light is buzzing and flickering
something is about to explode
or maybe thats just my soul

softly touch the wall and it corrodes
the white paint peels and turns black
and cracks appear on the surface
a garbage touch that ruins it all

for years the signs of ruin were there
building up behind fragile white walls
and now i sit here with an open chest
my heart nailed to the damned wall

and as the world fades from my fingertips
like blood from an open wound
the sky outside is bloody and tormented
and i cant begin to see my own reality

II
im so afraid that if i get up ill fall again
damned by the ghosts of the past
the flashing glare of reality looms larger
closing in on me and slapping me

if only someone could open the door
and let me out of this foreboding room
perhaps i could see more than whats inside
instead of slicing myself in half

remember it was your verse that ended me
slicing off my fingers one by one
it was when my heart was nailed to the wall
that i truly forgot how to feel

my sickening screams echo loudly
throughout the confines of my own mind
reverberating down my spine
and leaving me in a shivering fit

as the world fades from my fingertips
like blood pouring from an open wound
the sky outside has faded to a deep black
and i cant begin to see my own reality

love you can paint all colors of the sky azure

faraway as it opens your eyes chocolate melts now
wide with awe of a diamond wonder shining gleams
only if your were here embracing life magic majestic

love to spoil and cook for you something so delicious
putting your feet up softly watching a real-heart movie
sounds real my dream bride so beautiful and so real

as I looked into a candle as it flickers alone quietly
one light thinking dancing in thoughts all-together
night shades color the luster of a silver star winking

a small shadow pervades ever so blotting starlight
slightly as I hear you calling me as shades whisper
in our crowded corner thoughts of passionate love

distant faraway wonders breathless whispers calling
me toward simple things catching my breathing sighs
just throwing a few more turf on the fire right now

starting to heat up my frozen breaths icy steaming
clouds misting as the sky clouds my breath true blue
sweet dreams princess sits regal crowning charming

with the angels filled within love flying without wings
catch you in my dreams tonight until the sun kisses
your face and eyelids golden warm beautiful bright

Pursue Love

Pursue love,
the love that has no meaning,
the silver ports of the moon,
shine so bright,
that it blinds you in the twilight
she is beautiful and she is divine
she is the song sang by the sweet nightingales
in the gardens of worthy, overgrowning and blooming roses,
like wildfire grow tall and the thornes of the vines
tangle around her feet and drag her ever so slightly
throughout the garden of beauty.
As the roses lay along a table,
as she sits at the table
and she waits for me, the wordman
to come to the dinner table at the stroke of nine
and sit with her,
start a scene or two of romantic setting,
to pursue love in her name.
Love is around us,
the candlelight shines and reflects in her silk hair,
as her evening dress glitters and shines
and her bossom shows itself in the nightsky
as we lay together,
we pursue a dream together,
forever we live together forever,
as we stand upon the belcony of Romeo and Juliet's love scene
we swim in a pool of sweet divine care and love,
we swallow grapes and drink wine
hand and hand on Persian rugs and virgin white cloth sheets,
we dance to a simple, yet sweet Chopin's masterpiece
of his beautiful nocturnes,
which make such a sweet and romantic song in our heads.

We stomp out the flames
as we dance the night away,
and you lay in my arms,
and I kiss you upon your lovely head,
and you hold my hand,
and I hold you tight
never thinking of letting your love go away from me,
I would take my own life,
before I lose your love.
See us together,
it is a painting that lasts lifetimes,
that needs no touch-ups.
I care for you and love you!
Love me, I know you will.

My sweet and loving portrait lady,
who in reality is more beautiful than a fully bloomed rose
that sits on its green stem,
in the garden of beauty that sits outside my window.
Come up to my chambers
as I picked roses for you and pettles litter the atmosphere
as love's tension grows
and suspence brings us together,
let us make love tonight
seal the passion
and pursue love once and for all.

Then shall we wake with the first rays of the blazing of the morning sun,
I shall wake next to your beauty and glory,
and I shall point my attention to the heavens
and thank the Gods for sending you on the open road,
toward my chamber door, I call my heart.
Then we shall dress, and walk the pathways
in the garden of beauty
and I shall pick a bauquet of roses
and we shall sit by the lake and pursue our love
for one another
and nothing, not one earthquake shall shake us apart.

‘The Airplane Crossing Clear-Blue Sky'

My white-washed bars surrounded me -
they held me as I slept;
they soothed me when the days were long,
and mother’s blue-eyes wept.

A baby girl, six months or less,
awakened from my sleep -
stood up legs as sure as hope;
as strong as flat is steep.

My hands, my saviors, gripped the rail
so I could peek outside –
the bluest sky I’d ever seen,
As tall as it was wide;

came into view - between the blue,
an airplane gliding by,
its smoky streamer like a flag,
across my memory’s sky...

The memory is a simple one -
a window, sky, and plane -
but in my heart, it's heaven's door
and there it shall remain.

I’ve hung it on my memory’s wall
Between that life and this –
It covers every hole I’ve dug
In sorrow’s vast abyss.

This picture brings the special peace
I knew when I was small –
Where mother’s just beyond the door,
and waiting for my call…

*Inspired by Danielle's Earliest Memory contestI have blocked out almost every memory
from my childhood, and only a very few gems remain - this is the firstand I will treasure it
always...

Your Name Love

Lost living among'st the shadows of dreams
An echo softly holds a gentle stillness

As a vision grows dimly lit holding flames
From troubles burning within chambers deep

I raise my eyes towards the mountain peaks
Winds softly echoing your voice inside the rain

One charmer who cast such cunning spells
Through a galaxy where time dances with the stars

Spirit of eternal peace and love falls uniquely pure
Into the arms of your goodness a picture develops

Drunken soul of a sailor sings to the night sky
Lament of a seagull cries eternally over waves

Red Light

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
lonely as ever
visible at night, useless by day?

in sync with its partner next door
for a quick kiss over a few flashes only
then arguing again and again
night in, night out.

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
not signaling a warning to keep away
but sending a call for compassion?

using the dark pauses in between
to yell the same name
over and over and over
into the emptiness of each night.

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
being your silent cry
only heard by your eternal love?

Sanguine Sky

Sanguine blush, outreaching its origin,
Roses bloom across the painting.
The sky extends its insubstantial limb,
Spreading its fingers- in gesture towards you.
A great fan, coral but crimson,
Shifting, yet still- tumbling across eternity.
The horizon appears, in a flash of pink rainbow,
Love, of the universe, of humanity,
Of life, appears… and evaporates; a gradual decline,
of colour; but so sudden too,
And we are left once more,
In solitude.

My Sweet Past Tone

Once you filled the room which hollow for a moment
Couples of days before new year eve we indirectly met
Hilarious to remember how we know and admire each other that day
Without knowing it won't last forever

One song..One song keep chanting me back to the memory of you
The song of blue sky collapse
Year goes by, first, second and more
Each of my story buried you without trace

Until today you seek me through the mailbox
Simple words as "happy birthday" and more words as "still think about you"
Surprised, touched, even mine still one more day to go
You missed the day, but you caught my yearn

Thousands words would I type to reply
But the fact my hands stoned
I missed you even more, sealed beyond these words
But don't know how to say nor expressed it through the blank page

Once you filled this hollow room
Once I ever loved you
But I found my better way..better life...
And decide not to look back

Lovers Moon

When blue sky has drawn its veil
That's when passions will prevail
Within the dark of nights closed eyes
Entangled lovers sweat and writhe

A fervent lustA human need.
A chance to plant the given seed
It starts with just a gentle touch
As light recedes the sky at dusk

Then when the moon and stars arise
A hand is moved from breast to thighs
The roundness of the orb at night
Calls for lovers to delight

Engage in loveEngage in sin
Engage in feelings from within
A chance to touch another soul
Is what brings humans to their whole

Feel the softness of the skin
Two lips pressed against the chin
A moan escapesA breath is drawn
As nipple is encroached upon

Grasping flesh and tasting love
The constellations stir above
Unclothed bodies in the night
Begin to consummate their plight

A presentation then is made
And well accepted, unafraid
The movement satiates the lust
As joy is drawn from every thrust

Fingers grasp and arms embrace
Contortions dominate the face
Muscles spasm, spASM, SPASM
Oh the joy of such orgasm

Now there's nothing but a bright
Ever glowing, loving light
Embracing them within that glow
As lovers movements start to slow

Electric feelings then subside
Like ending to a coaster ride
And as the dawn begins to creep
It chases lovers to their sleep
Leaving them to relish in
The echoed sound of pleasures din

Tie-Dyed Sky

Ebony silhouettes
inked by a dying sun
portray lovers embraced
in synergy of hope.

Inseparable dreams
slowly morph into one
subservient to the
whims of compliant hearts

And azure pools reflect
a tie-dyed denim sky
as enchanted dreamers
seal their love with a kiss.

Twinkling stars confetti
the emptiness of space
and as darkness descends
shadows swallow all light.

Time seems to stand so still
reality pauses
and motionless they swim
to the depths of their souls.

Re-found Visiting Qualicum Beach

We met a few years ago, then suddenly you were gone
We danced the very last dance to our favourite song

Happenings in our lives took control of our tomorrows
That evening when you walked away, filled my heart with sorrow
   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
When I heard the telephone ring, I answered and you were there
And we spoke of the past few years, these years we could have shared

The time flew by when we talked, sharing our pasts to date
When you said you'd like to meet up again, my heart just couldn't wait
   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
When I picked you up from the Airport, you hadn't changed at all
Six foot plus with sky blue eyes, still leaving me enthralled

We settled into our night for tomorrows journey we'll make
To a rented cottage so idyllically set, down by the lake
   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The morning came so fast as we set of on our trip
Again going over the years, picturing like a movie clip

Our destination now reached, refreshed we head for a meal
At a restaurant overlooking the lake, our pasts begin to seal
   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Back to the cottage we go, as you gently take my hand
So dreamy under the full moon, is this what fate had planned

You play our favourite song, the one we danced to so long ago
As you take me in your arms, something in me flows
   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
We look into each others eyes as you ruffle my long blond hair
I see desire looking back from your manly sky blue stare

Slowly we discard our clothes as you lay me on the bed
Adventurous discovering hands declare our minds well read
   ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Our passion resonates, excitement fills the air
Years of catching up in delightful bodily share

We awaken in the morning, spooned within my reach
Our love has been reborn, re-found visiting Qualicum Beach

Sky full of stars

'Twas pain that taught my heart to bleed
for sorrows of another...
then kept my deepest heartfelt needs
in silence to serve a buffer

For in the cutting vein of love
I saw a darkness unto death
with eyes of a child had seen enough
true love must stand the test

Such is the pain too grievous to mourn
speaking secrets craved by the heart
to give another the power with which
to tear your soul apart

I've known the anguish of abandonment
and fled inflictions sting
I have faced the tyrants cruel mismanagement
yet held my soul with wings

Of all the wisdom borne by age
no greater truth can be gave
the soul is filled in the passing of days
In the gaze of passions eyes and a lovers display

So brash can be those memories scorned
but fade they will like pages torn
Tis a hand un-held, a tear un-brushed
hearts crushed when the unspoken's not enough

Let slip not away the music-less dance
the kisses that tremor ones breath
miss not the chance for that touch of romance
what weight hath love unexpressed?

No, it's not the passing wounds
those flukes which plague ones journey
that leave devout all faith renounced
and deem sweet love unworthy

Perhaps the greatest fear is that
O're years in friendships tit for tat
passed will be what faith once lacked
and find such love not looking back

In the blink of an eye the magic could subside
to pang with hunger for the love of your life
to know from hurt you cannot hide
to trust is more than you realize

So if I've tested the depths of devotion
what storms your sails could bear
'twas solely because my love is only
of any value unless it is shared

Planned were not the trials endured
yet it's what it took for my heart to ensure
that love will bravely stand the test of time
stronger than chance, more made by design

And so to you I give in kind
holding out for the dreams, in my heart, in my mind
to trust at some blessed point will find
That breathless kiss will dance on the lips
which linger between yours and mine.

A love outlasting infinity
stumbling into guarded arms
the simplest picture of serendipity
by a childish wish on a sky full of stars

Beneath A Midnight Sky

The stars above are shining bright, within a midnight sky. Lying with me upon the sand, as we watch stars shooting, across soft velvet. We turn our heads, eyes now locked, swimming within our loving glow. A gentle breeze whispers in your hair, your peaceful sigh, a lullaby And in my dream, there is a midnight sky, with a star brighter than all others. Dark velvet envelopes my heart, oh my love for you is eternal. Mist of time, whispering in my hair, and I fall into your eyes. Lost again, under that sky and sand. And in my memory, I am with you, your peaceful sigh, a lullaby _______________________________________________ March 8, 2016 Poetry/Free Verse/Collaboration/Beneath A Midnight Sky Copyright Protected, ID 16-765-202-0 All Rights Reserved Written under Pseudonym.
