desire, romance, romantic love,
She is soothing music,
but an unwritten script.
A silent movie,
but visually, cinematic elegance.
Infatuated lyrics thirst to
compose onto tones of her curves.
Her tongue is a sensual dance,
a serenade of sensitive sensations.
Her lips a path to pristine passion,
her eyes a gateway to heaven.
But she is grandeur of purity,
a distinction of innocence.
Fate must learn patience,
in the pursuit of desire.

I have loved and been loved - I have shared ivory love bliss colors.
I have ridden sapphire airs of crimson ecstasy and touched silver stars.
I have felt gold, silky, lilac joy move and embrace my harlequin heart.
I have melted to tangerine delight caresses tingling my willing, fuchsia skin.
I have been lifted and turned and tossed - on sensual, erotic
waves that travel bold - through and between me

Honey vapour scents travelled among seduced tepid zephyrs.
This was not a dream for I was within the realms of reality,
as fate's footsteps led my heart back to forgotten pastures.
Her persona was poetic personification, yet I was lost for words,
so in simple silence, souls serenaded suppressed symphonies.
The idyllic radiance of her eyes became a timeless memory,
the warmth of our first kiss an eternal celestial connection.

Midnight Romance
Dusk falls quickly on cerulean skies
Day morphs from ash of roses to sable
Our love's vision flashes before my eyes
Midnight romance, like an ancient fable
Charcoal sketches meander in my mind
While jasmine-absinthe incense is burning
it's smoke, evokes passions clearly defined
porcelain skin blushes with love's yearning
Obsidian-ebony eyes that gleam
pleading to quench needy soulful desire
beckoning me to unite in the dream
willingly, I rush to put out the fire
My mind's eye sees quivering crimson lips
As love drips from ivory fingertips

I, whom gazes over there at her,
Later in the dusk of candlelight
Shall remove her pink dress
Tiss then
I shall see she derives her pleasures
As I read her

passion, romantic love, true love,
Twilight's aurora seems so perfect.
Lustrous shades of clementine,
caressing vivid violet visions.
Majestic moon enlightens,
as shadows come to life.
Flashes of light,
pierce through a black blanket.
Love wraps itself,
scintillating soaring spirits
to glide towards sphinxlike skies,
searching for secret stars.
Eyes glitter like sprinkles of stardust.
Lips blend like silent ovetones,
adrift in romantic musings.
Hearts pacify in peaceful rhythms,
each beat an endless reminder
this is no mirage from a sweet reverie.

Cascading waves wash ashore
tickling our toes as we stroll.
And moonbeams
set a thousand jewels sparkling...
upon the shoal.
Smiles summon sweet emotions
as we walk upon the beach
hand in hand
under a starry sky...
Pausing,
to build castles in the sand.
Romantic sparks ignite flames of passion
by a tranquil sea,
and fledgling souls unite
for eternity...
Hopes and tears
equally shared
define the essence of living.
And yet love offers a joy
reserved for fantasies
and dreams...
Agony and ecstasy meld
to greet each hungry kiss.
And consumed by desire
we've never felt a love...
quite like this!

love,
Dancing once again with words,
As the two of us, embrace--
Another verse, another rhyme
Of waterfalls, and lace.
Romantic words in meter,
Although where's the gentle kiss?
Where's the touch and feel of it,
The tenderness, I miss?
Need I craft another verse, or two,
Of moon and leafy wood?
Should one appear, and touch my heart,
Then possibly I could.
But what would be the good of it,
Shall my words a love renew?
Then a sonnet I would surely pen
With the imagery of you.
And who can say, though distantly,
Perhaps a spark could grow--
Then I would dance, and cheek-to-cheek...
And let my poems go.

I got a love that's never gonna die
Your love has breathed new life into me,
has filled my heart that was once empty
I got a love that's alive and spry
A fragrant violet voice has revived the old bones,
turning back the clock is a good thing
Gave me a pep in my step, a soul zing
Your love rekindled the flame that was long gone
How could you know that you would affect me so,
make me to rise up from my slumbering deep
Go walking to the garden of orchid waking dreams
A shower of kindness make the seeds of your love grow,
blossoms of smiles move my undressed heart to weep
My love for you will never die, for it has been redeemed

Tonight the sky is empty
stars fall in the sea
I am the light to guide you
do not wish to be alone.
If the world becomes deserted
all eyes you see are sad
I will smile for you
you will never be alone.
Sleeping I dreamed you
awake I keep dreaming
I dream because you love me
and I am not alone.
It is sometimes madness
a longing absentee
call it love
and we are not alone...

funny, funny love,
I thought it was kind of romantic
I wasn't being a fanatic
I pulled it out in the cold
You thought that was a bit bold
I wrote it in the snow about you and me
How much I love you I wrote it with my pee
I almost froze it off - it and my left ball
Then you hurt me when you said it was too small
It's like out of the pool
It follows the same rule
Not that I expected you to drool
But you didn't need to be cruel
Now I pull it out again and what I write
Your not going to like - it might cause a fight
Not just what it says about you that is quite biting
But the fact it was your sister who did the writing

The cemetery was
Before my very eyes, stillness
Autumn leaves a blanket on the dead
The cemetery was
There, as it always was there
From childhood till now
The cemetery was
For me, my escape, comfort and refuge
Among the strangers and the dead
The cemetery was
My pathway to the heavens
The gateway to my dreams
The cemetery was
Until that one fateful day
My sanctuary
The bullet wasn’t even meant for you my love
You are dead none the less, beneath me
I, who weeps at your grave, lifeless too
Now the cemetery is my hell
Tormented by what ifs
I breathe the autumn frost only
That one day
Our daughter will become
You

Thy Silent Thoughts
So beautiful are thy silent thoughts
I would watch thine eyes all day.
There is wonder in them, as the sun's first flash
Through tumult of ocean spray;
In them the shining calm of upland pools
Mirrors the glory round,
And their shadows are the shadows of sweet flowers
Upon the summer ground.
So beautiful are thy silent thoughts
I would watch thine eyes all day;
More beauteous in their silence than the stars,
Than the silent stars, are they.

Thru cyan skies and oceans bathing blue
Speak my love, for I lonely listen for you
Vivacious vivid voices of a sensuous spew
Dream my love, for I only dream of you
Lavish green meadows in the morning dew
Sing my love, for I symphonically sing for you
With Angelic ambiance within heavens view
Cry my love, for I calamitously cry for you
Lachrymal layers of our binding brew
Dance my love, so I may dance with you
In melodic moonlight that I may woo
Love, my love, so I may love with you
Through echoing eternity just the two.

angst, love, solitude,
No one understands the reason for living,
many prefer to receive without giving.
In a world full of selfish behaviour,
solitude has become my silent saviour.
Instruments are repressed without musicians,
as some kill the music before auditions.
My harp cares not for words about tradition,
ignores fake applause for romantic fiction.
Love is a way of life, yet some bring it shame,
mercy cannot sin, feelings are not a game.
People point fingers to those without a name,
what will they do when there's no one left to blame?
I'm no Romeo, I need no Juliet,
I've loved and lost, broken hearts I still regret.

lost love,
I wrote verse on the wings of a lark
romantic phrases in perfect rhyme
but the lark flew away in the dark
I wrote no further for the longest time
A lone blue jay landed upon my lawn
I wrote sweet prose on his sapphire wings
He spent the night with me, but at dawn
the jay flew away and no longer sings
I answered the call of a beautiful raven
I wrote love sonnets on his ebony wings
He stayed for years in my safe haven
I was one of the raven's castoff things
I no longer trust those who take flight
I lost them all and my torn heart bled
On restless wings I'll never again write
of love that leaves me alone in my bed

Cheeks flushed with ecstasy’s playful hue,
Under your soft gaze I quake,
Sweetly poised to break,
And then I
Wake.
There I lie,
Joy fading to ache,
Tears tracing the wish I make,
Praying that the dawn might conjure you -
Skin like the morning, fresh with shimmering dew.

"Sequence of Love"
Love possesses many faces
occurring in romantic places
culminated by embraces ...
Love illuminates the soul
intertwining halves to whole
fulfilling a human, earthly role ...
Love radiates rare quality
increasing to a sweet degree
of everlasting ecstasy ...
Love invades enchantingly
perhaps, appears repeatedly,
but only once, comes sacredly ... eventually ...

My eyes, some days, a flirty blue,
wink cerulean skies at you.
Let’s dally in sun’s gilded rays.
A flirty blue, my eyes - some days.
At evening time my eyes flash bright
as emeralds in sultry night.
Come bathe with me in passion’s clime.
My eyes flash bright at evening time.
Romantic eyes, with whisper of
soft lavender for one I love.
In gossamer, I’ll mesmerize
with whisper of romantic eyes.
In early morn, a green, pearl-gray
reflects your face in velvet day.
This placid hue my eyes were born-
a green, pearl-gray in early morn.

imagery, poetry, writing,
I wrestle with my words in aimlessness when I write.
Poetry is a relationship to me, it's a troubled courtship.
I can't come to reasonable reform in words on the spot..
but rather seek intimacy with my thoughts in attempt.
The two of us, man and his romantic notions,
carelessly Laid into tousled affections on a page.
I love her, and the page, she spurns me willfully.
I love her, and grasp in hopelessness to understand her.
I give my undivided attention, my eyes wander her form.
I've sought shamelessly to appease her whispered desires.
But she is a selfish lover, asking for more than can be given.
She, the playful counterpart in a field of rationality, often eludes me.
