Touch

"TOUCH" I want to touch your life and leave a mark ... ... a deep impression ... So you will think of me and of my smile ... ... my sweet expression ... I long to touch your life and leave a sign ... ... a warm inscription ... So you will care for me and keep in mind ... ... a clear description ... I need to touch your life and leave a joy ..,. ... an inspiration ... So you will love me soon in reality ... ... not imagination ...

When We Were Young

When we were young we loved our fairy tales
A frog could be a prince with just one kiss
Each cloud, a boat where dreamers could set sail
Imagination was the great abyss

Too soon we grew and lost our innocence
Found out that swords are never pulled from stones
That dreams come true but only with expense
And happy ever after's come and gone

Yet some of us still wish upon a star
Believe that rainbows come with pots of gold
Reality is life for most comes hard
And love like water runs both hot and cold

Like you I wish that fairy tales came true
But grown ups know they very seldom do

Love's Reflection

Love neither gives or takes but from itself. Be not wiled by fantasies of arrogance. Take no more than is offered by yourself. Leave nothing trapped in tortured irrelevance. Seek not a barter for desires that sue your heart. Worthiness is the only tender that comes due. Suffer willingly the melody of pain it may impart. Bleed joyfully from the wounds that will ensue. As tree branches lift their hopes towards Heaven's door, hands together reaching higher than alone will seek heights that love's imagination most beautifully implores that from a poets words unending ecstasy must speak. Whatever you desire your life to be, may loves reflection be all you see

Callused Fingers

Callused fingers press vibrating strings, drawing passion from a violin. And with burnished wood snug to his cheek, the violinist plays from his heart. Subtle vibes saturate my being as crying strings elicit feelings. And expounding on love's betrayal, music stirs the imagination. His bow hangs like a lingering kiss, savoring the taste of ecstasy. And then, with tears trickling down his cheek, he unleashes unbridled fervor. Experiencing pangs of rapture, sound slips the bounds of reality. And every note penetrates my heart, igniting fiery flames of passion. 5/7/2015

Gentle Summer Rain

She writes about Fall's beauty in the rain
The falling raindrops' dance ascribing thence
Bespoken verse that lightens her refrain
before the time they met - her steps commence.

She listens to the soft and rhythmic thrum,
her love turned to escape and cloudy string
Where nimbus mistletoe fell, tears to become
Their kiss of Autumn was symbolic ring.

The first light cotton mists with summer rays
While skyward cheerful laughs adorn the land,
their ceremonial dance diffuses grays,
affectionate embrace, where dreams expand.

Upon September's sky the raindrops gleam
With half of hidden Sun to laugh and beam.

Everything's Okay

Love feels like an illusion; a mix of lies and the truth. For it's non-responsive to the expectations of youth. Facing doubt and frustration, bravado falters, then slips. And yet, in your fantasies, passion congers eager lips. Hope courts imagination, summoning a dreamy smile. And you find your private place, where you haven't been for a while. You're in search of a soulmate who will share your existence. So, you continue to look with undying persistence. You fall in and out of love with ghosts that haunt night and day. And despite your loneliness, think, everything's okay. (Quatrain) 6/21/2015

Self

I am a lady
In a white dress
My desire only to be softly caressed
So I take my paint brush, and delinquently paint
My face that pleads let love become quaint
I confess to my brushes
Let a man stroke me
With eloquence and grace
As he gazes into the love on my face
La fenêtre you see that I paint so clear
You have to climb in through it
To hold me so dear
Can you not see into my soft sad lonely eyes?
I desire myself
Wrapped inside of you
On canvas
I shall paint forever
Myself
That never existed

Last Night When You Were In Deep Sleep

Last night when you were in deep sleep I scribbled a poem on your bare back, a page so soft--with love bites and moles I used them to cut the t's and dot the i's; my finger tips' softly turn created ripples in a placid lake where you prepared to take a dip in your dream, my words followed you in that unknown land secretly to know your destination. I remembered to forget every scribbled word as it was my gift to the sleepless night, she was picking up each word one by one and kept them in her lap of silence. For the first time, you never knew how a poem was born and lost in the silence of night. © kash poet (kashinath karmakar) =====================================

Dream Light

Hardened solid is the clay
That shapes the way I am today
I dream escape from endless grief
Restoring child-like belief

Experience has made me cold
Stolen who I was before
Left behind half of a whole
Changed the essence of my core

I wish to dance in brilliant light
Cleanse my soul with gentle rain
Slumber sound in dark of night
At dawn awaken without pain

Soar up high in skies above
Gaze down upon meadows green
To once again believe in love
To have faith in things unseen

Memories that formed the clay
Although impossible to do
Will them all to melt away
And live the bliss that I once knew

The Color of My Heart

Sketch the sunset leaving today behind, sinking in the footsteps of yesterday. And feel the ripple of all life combined, empty your thoughts; take all but love away. Emblazon upon your mind a blue sky gilded by the golden hue of sunrise. And color a dragonfly zipping by, watching its beauty materialize. Blend the yellow of a buttercup's glow with flickering flashes of firefly lights. And walk the Earth, yet let no footprint show, respecting life by honoring its rights. Mix well until presumptions fall apart and thus reveal the color of my heart.

Dampened Sheets

I am the sultry silence
the wishbone
of your dreams
feel my warm breath
slither down your throat
across your chest
feel my transparent tongue...

We rage the erotic battle
I feel your pulse race
my fingers of flame
caress all that is yours
I am your imagination
arching above your feminine form
I sink slowly into you...

Just so you know my love
you will never be able
to shake me from your dreams
I will seduce you to a place
beyond mere thoughts and words
tonight, dream of us...

The Rose

Once bloomed a rose so young and fair
With dark brown eyes and long black hair

Beside her be a tall dark tree
Whose branches stretch to smother thee

Too close beside the shadowy bark
That soon begins to leave its mark

She cries for help, but none shall hear
Her thorns too sharp, who’d dare go near?

To save this rose, who’d risk their life?
With naught to gain but pain and strife

Alone, afraid, she lays to rest
Her heart beats low inside her chest

And with the hour growing near
She sheds her final grieving tear

And so the rose soon falls asunder
Her final day, eternal slumber

She lies beside the old dark tree
The only one who mourns for thee

Beauty In My Palm

You are the wild flower in my palm
With no stem to keep you anchored to this covetous earth
You are the fragile thing I dare not cup,
As your petals whittle away under the wind
And flit unfettered in the air;
Exaggerated fear leaves my fingers numb
Hungry need leaves my fingers twitching
And my hand is paralyzed by turmoil
As every breath of wind takes another petal from me
And brings to my lungs, my chest and my heart
An overwhelming scent of need-

You are the wild beauty in my palm
And I dare not hold you to my chest
For I fear to crush you
To know first hand
That caged beauty, is beauty no more.

An Unwritten Fairytale

Inside an inkwell, lives a fairy tale
A classic, filled with love and misery
Where," Once upon a time" has long set sail
And "happy ever after's" yet to be

It's plot, a knight, once schooled in chivalry
His quest for love, the dragons he has slain
From Crusades 'round the world to frippery
The jousts with Father Time who drew disdain

Yet deep inside is where brave knight remains
A lifetime of adventures, good and bad
The love he searches for, still unobtained
Still finding peace, his "grail" this Gallahad

Perhaps, I'll buy a quill one of these days
Release Sir Knight and legends of his ways

Above the Clouds

The summer sky is such a pretty blue
above us, looking like a tranquil sea..
There are not many clouds except a few.
Up there with you is where I’d love to be!

I picture us both soaring to the sky
into that oceanic blue expanse;
above the clouds is where we ought to fly,
where, like two joyful angels, we would dance!

We’d spin about as if our feet had wings
that lightly touched on an unparalleled
softness! And in my imaginings,
I see us there with happiness unquelled.

Removed at last from earthly cares and crowds,
we’d stay in cool blue sky above the clouds.

I Lay My Head

I lay my head  upon the softness of its mane
My white charger, no knight for a swain
as I am the gallant rider looking for love.
Riding the green valleys with mountains above,
looking for hope in natures  fertile plain

A dream, a carousel  of  tears  and  pain
With bobbing horses making  a colourful train
Flying above a sure sign of hope, a dove
I lay my head

Imagination in play as I search in vain
Why from happiness  must I abstain
My empty heart crying out to those above
Praying each night, please bring me love
Grabbing a handful of the silky white mane
I lay my head

Just a Kiss

Once again the sun fades into the distant sky I gaze up at the stars to imagine the twinkle in your eye Though a sunset for me, is a sunrise for you It's at this time each day my heart is feeling blue Together are hearts are one, yet half a world apart I know that shooting star is filled with love from within your heart With a full moon slowly rising overhead into the nights sky May it be a sunrise of beauty for you, as it kisses the morning sky

Delectable Pleasure

on a quiet
Sunday
afternoon
rain
playfully
danced
amidst the
flourishing
trees of
Georgia.

memories
tempt
tastebuds
with a
sweet juicy
nectar
ripe with
luscious
desire.

sensually
fragrant
arousing
all senses
slowly,
delicately,
sensually.

peaches
simply are..

the Fruit
of the
Gods..

one of
life's
delectable
pleasures,
for the God
& Goddess
in all.

His and Hers

his smile mesmerized her
her scent intoxicated him
his eyes hypnotized her
her touch magnetized him..

precious moments linger...

passionately
divinely
sensually

his strong hands caressed her
her flowing hair tickled him
his sweet kisses captivated her
her playfulness enticed him

purely
safely
freely

precious moments linger...

his tenderness showered her
her dewy glow bathed him
his legs entwined with hers
her legs entwined with his..

precious moments linger...

for eternally they are...

his and hers.
