And So Much More

I'm giving Thanks for the ones I adore
They give me hopefulness,
 Love
And so much more
It's clear from my smile
That's for sure

Faith Hope Love

I intend to spend My Future Days in Hopefulness of Love

Than to surrender to the darkness of despair

With Thy Lord by My Side

In His Faith

I Shall Abide

Duped

Blinded by Love

Purity can not conceive of the Depth of Darkness

Hopefulness believes the lost will fine their way back

Genuineness yearns for the greater good

Integrity commands high ideals

Forthright will inspirer those with a open heart

How many times will it take....

For a Pure Heart to see.....

The Gift of Truth.....

Isn't always what it appears to be.....

Canyons of the Heart

Some love stories make you ponder
how you got this far.
Others make you want to wander
guided by a star.

Roll on thunder, roll on night
never let me sleep.
That's an over-rated right
and I've no soul to keep.

Loved too easily it seems-
my heart kept beating faster.
Through the canyons of my dreams
was led into disaster.

Dismal breakage everywhere
as I became undone.
Just about too much to bear;
I was too tired to run.

Now the pages have been turned
and hopefulness prevails.
Never again will I be burned
and love will guide my sails

Into the Blue

Time shifting through the elements themselves Reveals little but what is of ourselves Over bridge of eternity I’ve flown Grasping at the railings of life’s unknown Colors they flash before my eyes twinkling Like the stars in the sky seeming winking Over and over inside my lost head I wander around looking for a bed A place to lie on to fill my dreams up Allowing rest to bring life to my cup The bridge composes of enlightenment Based off of hope’s lovely encampment Strong hopefulness for peace and desires true Times enveloping trip into the blue

Adrift

Well, we were on rafts, laughing at the boats.
You talked food; I was talking animals.
Straight from the heart while they were talking quotes
regurgitated from TV channels.

Floating from one to another island;
we were young, in love and adrift at sea.
Dreams coming true without even trying,
and that is how it was supposed to be.

We didn’t get lost till we settled on shore
and neon intercepted our wishes.
Limited their hopefulness in folklore;
it blinded two kindred accomplices.

Never wanted to be part of this race,
but life comes around and laughs in your face.

Unity

As oneness in consent, some hopefulness not spent
you bring to mind, in even kind, a spirit of advent.
Beginning Thy will's course, nor empathy's divorce,
I try my understanding, in your truth's whole resource.

No guesswork could proclaim, nor ego bring self aim,
I pray for nearness' unity in Thy complete remain.
A broken course might end, but courage still amend,
the spirit of self discipline, in Thee my noble friend!

Come In

I feared my face would be too thin
my hair the same and where to begin
on all the flaws that do reside
apparently deep, deep, deep inside
this bony frame, this craggy husk
this leathery hide, approaching dusk
so near the nadir than the start,
but instead I find within your heart
a sea of human hopefulness
and that magic word; acceptance
that fills you with serenity
and beckons through your smile to me
come in, the water's safe and warm,
come in and leave behind the storms
we'll swim across this sea as one,
together, towards our setting sun
come in.....

Majesty of Calm

Blue heights peak and can clearly see a majesty of calm blinders cast away in the confusion the built up confessions there is modesty heroic melting minds losing track of time golden years ring exploring bodies of earthen vessels treasured unlocked in trust serenity sits upon the horizon pages tumble in the wind blank, silently still we blink we embark on a flight of life, of love freedom, openness, hopefulness sentient, written and re-written we breathe again

Can You Hear the Music?

Can you hear the sound?
The song
The music sang for you
From me
Can you not her the message within it
The sadness
The longing
The hopefulness
Of us finding, finding, our rhythm
Can you hear the music playing for you?
Begging, pleading with you
Not to leave me
Can you not hear my pleas of cries?
Can you?

The Thought of You

The thought of you to me is such sweet bliss,
     a joy that lasts, enduring for all time;
a joy, like love, that lives on with a kiss;
     and will not end with the end of this rhyme.
The sight of you to me is happiness,
     a promise to me that God is keeping;
so long as I abide in hopefulness,
     with joy my heart always will be leaping!
If not for you, my bliss would disappear;
     and be lost in the cold background of space;
it'd be there where I'd weep and shed a tear,
     ne'er knowing the joy of seeing your face.
You are a bliss to me to epoch's end;
which fools cannot surpass with vogue or trend.

You

When I close my eyes and I think of YOU, this battle of you I've already won. But when I open my eyes up to look around, my fight not even begun. I've realized the battle is not with YOU, it lies within me, your wickedness, my hopefulness, I've yet to put to rest. What a lucid dream, to keep dreaming of chasing the same unrealistic thing. I did for so many years, shed so many tears. I have so many regrets, but mostly, the first time we meet. I've grown stronger in this ,but the pain I still feel can't be remissed as I sit and often reminisce. Do you sit perplexed over me, or have you gave me my wings and been set me free? The battle is not with YOU, its within me.

Love Your Enemies and Neighbors

Marvelousness and hopefulness
Joyousness and faithfulness
Loyalty and serve him wholeheartedly
Puffed upness and insulting and crudeness is not godliness...cussing, in other words, is Satanic honestly...regardless of what others say more or less
Not easily angered - how can I be of righteousness?

Trustworthiness and tranquility go hand in hand
Understand where our airplanes land...understand?
Love your enemies and neighbors as yourself
Love your family and friends as yourself...
Love all and hate no one...
Look up to His son...

Always.

For His Ears

Sang the heart
Stirred the feelings
Melted the emotions
Seldom I wandered
Should have been here

Integrity I wanted
Tender and hopefulness I needed
Honesty and loyalty I observed
For the world to know
That I love you with all of my being

Words of love, love, love
This journey full of warmth
United in love
Bundles of joy
This love

We Glided In Softly

stars pressed to see as we came over the hill
they are here one whispered.
I smiled at my twin; they know I said
The wind had predicted us years ago

we glided in softly, trying not to wake
sleeping children who needed their sugarplums
you first I told my brother
he was delighted

our fairy dust gentled into windows,
filling the children’s brains
with the happiest of thoughts
guiding their imaginations toward hopefulness

love joy and peace
interspersed as subliminal clips
were smoothly dancing into their dendrite highways
our work done we went back to heaven as quickly as we came.
