For Two Timing Husbands

How many tears must fall from brown eyes before I lay me down to sleep.
Where hurtful dreams of betrayal and lies hide in shadows they creep.

How long did you think you could go around cheating and not be found out.
With all your two dollar whores and think I'd not scream and shout!

See if they'll put up with your bullsh**, until the next one catches your eye.
As for me I'm done with your no account two timing a** once and for all...
                    GOODBYE!!!!

Ardor of Autumn

Ardor of Autumn

Wind rolls off the river, chills the bones.
My cheeks are rosy from Chicago's cold.
Now wrapped in warmth inside with tea and scones,
October has my body feeling old.
Yet, I love the views autumn colors bring
The rain that falls upon my window pane,
How nature's timing changes everything,
How death of cold rejuvenates again.
The beauty of this season inspires
Poetry to flow from my hand to pen,
As romantic thoughts of my desires,
Memories of our tender love back when

Our souls first encountered a love so deep,
As I recall those times they make me weep.

God's Perfect Path

God’s Perfect Path

For it was written
Upon the heavens
That you and I should meet

It was God’s perfect timing
That we could never cheat

Today is the day
To celebrate what we have been given

Today is the day
To really start living

Ignoring Love

She loves to
ignore me.
Does she love me?
Yes I believe so, our love
is imperfect -like most, predicated on
imbalance, a victim of
poor timing, but living the old
lie of immortality…..is it really
an untruth? Is it mortal?
Will it one day die? I pray not.
At the end of all of it and everything
-it’s all I can give,
deathless love is rare, I have nothing
greater to offer, a love that will
outlive my life, outlive all things…..
I need to refocus, this doesn’t matter,
you see –she still ignores me.
I think she takes pleasure in it,
she does it so well.
Does she love me?
…..I think so, maybe

Spring - You Sly Fox

Would that love’s touch return on the morrow
ease the coldness of such separation
soft kisses adrift on sunsets aglow
reflect the light of iced desperation.

Temptress or tyrant - lover’s decision
hot tempered vixen – cool, distant player
love in the distance - lust in rescission
hornswoggled by smooth, fast talking soothsayer.

Spring, you sly fox, you two timing cheat
melting the frozen, fueling sun’s blaze
announcing the offspring before lover’s meet
writing love letters in wordless essays.

Sadly the lovers cannot comprehend
Spring’s but a means – to a flowering end.

Precious and True

As Precious as you are
moments we do share
for you waltz into my life
beholding a LOVE SO RARE

for when we meet on line
I know you do care
as You N Me
Find a way to be
always sweetness
 of Precious Harmony

I can't get you out of my mind
for you are there always
All --- time...
as my Love for you
I want to say
Tis deep within
Always Precious and True

All in God's plans
Timing .. Love... Forever
Never ends......

Bad Timing

They say timing is everything and baby is ours ever wrong,
But I'll do what I have always done and pretend to be strong.
My heart just doesn't understand this isn't meant to be,
Cause when we talk it's pure bliss, like you were put on earth for me.
So forgive me if the words I say are coming on too strong,
Cause my love for you just feels so good, how could it be wrong?

Shiver

You taste like sunshine,
 making me shiver with the brightest chills;
 Electrifying me with your fireworks;
My lips curve into a smile
glowing for hours to follow;

Veins charged with your current,
uncontrollably I shiver but still so hot;
Sizzling from the pulse of your kiss
stimulating every part of me;
Static charging the air, I breathe;

Lightning with the most divine of timing,
A spark flourishing to a fountain
overflowing with devotion;
Those lips on mine I shiver into you,
beholden to rapture.

Just Get It Right

just let it happen
just let yourself go
just see what comes next
just see if it grows

don’t stop the feeling
don’t close your heart
don’t close your mind
don’t stop a fresh start

if the feelings are there
if the timing is right
if you want it to be
if you can just get it right

don’t turn away
don’t think of the past
don’t close the door
don’t ever look back

Twilight Spring Fantasy

                                      5/7/2025

Twilight shimmers, in the purple poignancy at the birthing of our auspicious joyful Spring.

Let us love with abandon, dearest one, fragranced by the lilacs’ perfumed sweet timing!

'i Stand Amazed'

As the dust settles On another year added to my life I stand amazed God, Once again you have proven Your wisdom and perfect timing There were trials, pain and victories Moments that required 'a try again' You have been there Every step of the way Sometimes I wanted to question - Then calmness settle Cause a lesson needed to be learned Today I just want to say "Thank you Lord" 'Cause without you, I would not have made it… You knew my worth You knew my ability You saw the best in me When I sometimes questioned it *Written 25 December 2013* ©171029122013

Why Can'T I Say What I Think and Think What I Say?

WHEN I SAY WHAT I THINK IT COMES OUT LIKE THIS.
WE'LL it's the truth and I'm really not trying to hurt them on purpose.
They should be able to handle the truth.
I'm just going to say it ,I can't worry about how they take it.

WHEN I THINK WHAT I SAY IT COMES OUT LIKE THIS.
Will it hurt their feeling?
Will they be able to handle the truth in Love?
Is the timing right?

WHY can't I say what I THINK ?
if you don't THINK what you say you may say the wrong thing
or you could get caught up in something you could have avoided
so try to be "SLOW to "SPEAK and QUICK to "HEAR.
make sure you know what you heard and THINK before you answer to IT!

'closest Thing To Crazy'

"That thing" that doesn't have a name but in the end it envelopes you It takes on a life of its own even your moods are determined by "that thing" try and shrug it off; it will cling to you – From its cocoon it will sometimes flourish into something beautiful "that thing" Sometimes elude you and me especially when all you wish for is for “it to happen” it has the strangest timing

Musictropolis

The bustle and tune of city,
Is composed by the Architects.
Eyes upward, not staring at feet,
Take in cornices, gargoyles and chimneys,
Building high notes reaching down - lifting up.
Harmonies are hummed by neighborhoods of,
Next-door musicians with whom to shoot-breeze.
Rhythm’s source is traffic of crowds,
A quarter rest on the park bench,
Crescendos in fountains and skylines,
Chords lie in store as markets implore,
Side trip timing from Clef library-museums,
Playgrounds emanate the jazz of joy,
In stadiums you hear Souza marches,
Love songs played in coffee houses,
Where I’m drinking cappuccino,
As my eyes listen and ears observe.

Love Is Many Splendored

Love is a kaleidoscope
of color bursts and twirls.
Painted with everlasting hope
the tapestry unfurls.

Love is sometimes fraught with pain
when timing is all wrong.
Denied of joy, nothing to gain
the night's bitter and long.

Love is magic when it's new
and comfortable when it's old.
New love is fresh as morning dew
yet older love's good as gold.

Love is really all that matters
when our time's done on earth.
So don't leave any hearts in tatters.
Strive for love's rebirth.

Vicious Statement

Invictive
Licentious Offense - Vilify Emotions

Becoming Ugly Theatrics
In Contentious Another New Terrible
Humorous Accusation - Violent Explosion!
Yelling out! - Understood.

Intruding
Losing over violent escapes
You’re often unavailable
Because unappreciative Terror
I could ask nefarious timing
How addictively vicious – enticing

best friend, children, first love, games, heartbreak, life, moving on,

Harmonizing rhythms
Rotations synchronize to
My Darlings

Couples take up ends
Two turn rope 'required'
Like me with you

Two ends
One jumper
Take turns
Work ends timing.

Double Dutch
Double quick
Pavement recounts
All the licks!

Skipped times
Challenges anew
Missteps loose turns
Rope Splits
Stop skip

Mid crisis
Ends must be reunited
Another ‘Skip To My Lou’
Game starts

More to chance
With knotted ends
'Jointed' again
Start the count-down
One, two, three,four,
You missed stepped---
And loose
My turn!

Ambitious Love

You’d never guess all the times
Though unknown to my eyes, you are
Frequently praised in my rhymes.

Heart that’s revealed to your heart -
Open like sea to rain fall
That levels distant mountains,
Open like ear to bird’s call
That springs from fields unbidden.

Trusting that you’ll feel the same.
I wait for you unhidden.

Ardor is child of the Spring
And though Love can’t be frozen, still
Timing is Love’s golden ring.

Scouting the path you might take -
Planting myself right beside
It, waiting garden footsteps,
Rustle of dress prophesied,
You stoop to pick my blossom.

Nestled in crook of your arm,
At peace, and feeling winsome.

- Smile -

Looking at you and I wanted to say,
your smile lights up my day.
I think I never seen that before.
That makes me feel warm in my heart.
Looking at you and I wanted to say.
You have it, yes you do.
Feeling that the timing must be right,
to tell you:I love you !

Nights In Bosnia-Herzogovena 1995

NIGHTS IN BOSNIA-HERZOGOVINA - 1995
We love you death, and welcome all you're not;
no love, no hate, no failing and no gain,
no fighting for the things we haven't got
nor wondering about our latest pain.

Your mercy is a thing we'd surely bless
anticipating you, our only friend,
who brings conclusion to all wretchedness
the only one who knows us in the end.

So come you now as we help you along
you know you've tried to get us in the past
but now we know your timing is not wrong
and so we live and breath for you at last.

Your nothingness is what we hunger for
and in your end, we pray there's nothing more.

My Timing Love

I need you my Love
                                 the Time is right
I want to feel your touch's
                          your smile tickles my body
in the embrace of our love

I choose to make your world
                          please do name your price
                                  I'm always here
                                  to love and hold
                                 in our Timing Love.

That Moment

You smile

You lift your shoulders

You blink

You bite your lip

I sure I know your feelings

Can't let this moment slip

Is it all about the timing

Will cupid shoot his bow

Shall I taste your lips today

Or again let courage go

For I have faced some deamons

Fought men near twice my size

So why does fear fall upon me

When I look into your eyes

Is it because love plays this way

It starts as a cruel game

Where two souls need to open up

And say they feel the same

Good Twists

the right notes, rhythmically in place, entice the held and unrefined to become free... matching the speed of attention like a turned head facing the horizon, pondering in solitude the multitudes, feeling strong twisting waves like love. we have no control. and the speed of that realm cannot compare, the timing is beyond perfect, unavoidably implicit, becoming that horizion... the wind... and smiles... and eyes... how can we hold onto this?
