Butterflies

They flutter and hover
And float on the breeze.
They shiver and shimmer
And weaken the knees.
Fickle and fragile,
They tickle and tease.
Fleeting and flimsy,
Deceptively free.

These frivolous creatures,
These knots of desire.
Once spindles of yearning,
Now spools of barbed wire.
Once pulling like petals,
Now pricking like briar.
Once soothing like honey,
Now burning like fire.

Violently thrashing,
It struggles to rise.
The truth comes up gasping
From whirlpools of lies.
Shed this charade
And discard your disguise.
I know you enjoy
Drowning blind butterflies.

Pink Champagne and Satin Opera Gloves

As wild as unbridled seas,
soft as mist, a spindrift tease.
Night stars swoon and fall from skies;
constellations fill her eyes.
Every leaf stirs in her wake,
bottom to top, mountains quake.
Beaux like grapes bunch on her vine,
blood in veins she turns to wine.
Kisses sipped, her cherry lips.
Saké nip, rock ‘n roll hips;
tongue-and-groove celebration,
sensual saturation.
Her riptide lures sand from shore,
tsunami, when she wants more.

Una and the Lion

This world of trouble soon will pass
For there beyond the crystal glass
A lamb and lion tread the grass
Beside a lass, beside a lass

This cord of present time shall break
And hate and fear shall flee and quake
Oh, may all vice this earth forsake!
And love awake! And love awake!

Oh, see him walk 'neath mighty trees!
The king of beasts; what strength and ease!
Yet now content this lass to please
Her hand to tease, her hand to tease

Behold! A pleasant form and face!
The child of beauty crowned with grace!
Fair Una treads at even pace
A better place, a better place

~ The form is Monotetra~

Wrap Me In Your Comfort

Wrap me in your comfort Let me melt inside your eyes Kiss away my salty tears Embrace me where you lie Undress me with your passion Sooth me with your song Tease me with your tenderness Drive me crazy all night long Be my pillow when I need one Blanket me with your loving care Cradle me in your arms of satin Be the answer to my prayer

Dreams Hued In Cherry Blossoms

She walks underneath the pink sunshade trees dressed in flowing antique white bridal gown. Un-dissuaded heart, to laugh, love, a peace drawn to fragments of leaves rustling around. The start of spring; radiant glow of pink. A fountain of cherry blossom petals trace down to the ground dressing the green. A wink of amorous scene of warmth of her grace. Enthralled by sensation of sweet scent tease, gold sunshine rays' columns stand and solemn. Poetic strokes of emotions to please, a life draped in dreams hued in cherry blossoms. A blank canvas rich in true color spun in glaze memories not to be undone.

Champagne Cravings and Saffron Spice

In evening eyes an ember’s gleam I see
emotions ripple from your depths and spread
across your surface known to be glassy
are ripened waves of passion crashing red

Now crocus of your crave in bloom and flare
on bed of saffron petals - spice we seize
in festival of lust on my skin bare
a thousand tingles mingle pleasures tease

Your lips brush mine with strawberry caress
then kiss me deep your tongue unties my lace
I open up to you and your finesse
we toast with our champagne in love’s embrace

As ravishment reflects epiphany
amour I see through rosy tiffany

Soulmates

With a calm soothing look from your blue eyes
You invite me in to refresh my worth
And heal my wounds with your appealing mirth
A kiss from your lips leaves me satisfied
To desire no more, just be by your side
Tease my cheek with your feathery soft flirt
And I'll tie off my vessel at your berth
While your waves of kindness restore my pride
We'll take a walk on the beach holding hearts
Take a swim in the waters of desire
Drying our bare souls in the bright sun light
Never again will we let our paths part
Climbing love's mountain higher and higher
Then down the backside, to walk out of sight

Whispers of Light

Melodic laughter floats on the breeze
Fire light crackles and your eyes tease
Escaping embers glow, like whispers of light
They dance and hold us, this magical night

Nothing between us, our souls exposed
Twinkling stars - a new song composed
Whispers of light, grow hot and untamed
Tonight's promise, as of yet, un-named

For years now, it's been this way
Whispers of light, between us stay

Love.......

Only Make Believe

Love me though it's only make believe
Kiss me though I really know
You hold me close to just deceive;
Let that one sweet second flow
Over me lest it sink and break
My poor heart, for pity's sake.

Lend me faith for my belief
Give me from your eyes a smile;
Take away this wretched grief
And hold me close a little while.
I suffer now and surely know
You tease me with my forlorn woe.

Sing to me sweet and low
Tell me that you gently weave
Dreams of me although I know
You only play at make believe.
It hurts so much although it's plain
You are the one who scorns my pain.

In a Vampish Way

In a vampish way, the moon erupts from the sea
pirouetting across white cap and trough valley
through an impassioned performance of love set free
	in a vampish way.

A persistent tease, she sets her mind to dally
with Eros’ desirous heart as her victory,
only to break it with her vigorous sally.

Darkened midnight skies find her in malicious glee
as she counts coup for a final mental tally
and she continues en l’air on her odyssey
	in a vampish way.

Come to my boudoir Cheri
I am here all for thee
In red and lace
I shall entangle you will love
Entice you with lust
Tease you till desires run dry
You shall be the knight who rides my thigh
In the bonny highlands we shall have our romp
Meadows and fields of summer scent and breeze
I shall wrap you in my honey warmth
Mine, all mine you will be
Wrapped, entwined around my wee finger
Enslaved with love
My love
You belong all to me

Cupid Don'T Let It Miss

Cupid, drawback your bow, please
Don’t let it miss, don’t let it tease
Release the string, let the arrow wheeze
Squeeze through the trees
Carrying it off in the gentle breeze
Pierce my lover’s heart when I’m on my knees

Cupid drew back his bow while I proposed She saw the ring in my hand and froze Weeping shrieks of passion came up close Caressing my face saying I do when I arose

Red Rose Rules - Anacreontic Verse

RED ROSE RULES ~anacreontic verse~ Guard by blue skies on green meadows the lover's roll, a dash of love cause cheeks to blush a classic style, a charming act from nature's art-- to tease her mind, to please her heart. Her smile so bright, he want this right: the scents so pure among all blooms his red rose rules freed from fear shy lips reveal thoughts long hidden from her muse. Eyes wide open hands to her face casting same spell, orbs magnetize on feelings so bliss. They don't want to miss, they start to kiss only the breeze, the birds, the trees witness this tryst. _____________________________ 8:14 pm; January 06, 2015

Carbon Monoxide -Co- Week 3: Talkin' 'Bout My 'Noxide

The steady pull
of temptation--
a tease on
my resolution.

When I can sleep,
I take what dreams
afford me.
In these dreams,
my 'noxide comes
to ward me.

Her smoke is an invitation.
my conscience
falls for
the con science
of my imagination.
I give in
and reality spins.

Between the sleeps,
I lie in sanity.
I wonder:
Did I give into
my humanity?
did I'd err?
Is that
smoke in the air?

Passion Fruit Kisses

Passion fruit kisses, a tropical breeze
Butterfly flickers, your lashes do tease
Cherry encounters of promised delight
Spray of seduction, the sea mist at night

Mango martini of unmatched desire
Touches of Jasmine, fuel to the fire
Liquor of Palm tree, Coconut dew
Will keep me forever enchanted with you

Sunset of satin against raven hair
Pineapple mornings to bless skin so fair
Passion fruit kisses, a tropical breeze
To love you forever, Papaya agrees

Wind Rider

**From my collection of poems: 'Apollo's Diary'

I wonder if she thinks of me,
   at night, alone.....
   in her melting-bed;
With moon full as her curiousity
....my breath, the wind in the late hour
the stars I shall tease with,
   and phallic-lavender to ignite her bosom;
I am all things gentle, yet mighty,
   soft as her silk sheets.....
Dark and tall in her bedroom shadows,
   but candle-light makes me real
   with the night so young,
if a king should come ----
   he will not do.....
She longs love, not adulterous power;
I shall whisper upon a balmy breeze.....
(I wonder if she thinks of me)
    at night.....

The Allure of a Mature Woman

Thrills of ardent aster in Fall bloom,

whispers and lips in butterfly tease -

stoking hearth’s heat in surrendered swoon

harvesting lust.. with vanilla ease.

You Are Gone

I’m lost everyday when I wake, at the emptiness lying next to me
When I read the morning paper, the news is not to share
My coffee is never waiting for me anymore, neither is your kiss
Solitary walks are shortened, without companionship
The meals do not taste the same, the flavor you added is missing
I fall asleep watching movies, and books hold no interest
Some of the light has vanished from the day
As more of the darkness is invading my nights
While I’m sleeping, in my dreams you tease
I dread all the tomorrows, where you will not be

Beauty of Day's Harvest

Ah, the exotic blend of new spice
and desires on the tip of the tongue,
love's seductive dawning does entice
cinnamon cravings wakened among

thrills of ardent aster in Fall bloom,
whispers and lips in butterfly tease
stoking hearth’s heat in surrendered swoon
harvesting lust with vanilla ease

on eve of Autumn leaves and passion.

Midsummer Scream

Midsummer hot afternoon hip
From licking lips of ice-cream drip.

Chocolate and mint I often crave
But strawberry - my old time fave!

Exquisite, palate pleasing taste -
My thrilled tongue twirling, soaked and bathed.

Body and mind of chilling bliss -
Hot and cold dish of ice cream kiss.

Ultimate height under the sun,
Where joy and pleasure melts in one.

Midsummer dream of taunting tease -
Languorous love in heat wave breeze!

The Color of You

La couleur de toi repose sur mes lèvres

roll with me, dear desire
wrapped in close knit harmony
tongues danced, amidst the dialect
quenching mellow thoughts of me

crimson tips towards cinnamon
hunger breached a breathless breeze
autumn holding to her fragile leaves
grasped with innocence, one last tease

the color of you lies upon my lips
composed in the shelters of time
whispers, promise an extra kiss
folding this empty heart of mine

Love

To watch you from afar Yet touch you so near Wishing you were so close Gently whispering I love you Catch my eye I’m looking at you, discreetly Tease me and I will follow Until you stare in my eyes Then follow me in to my arms Saying I’ve fallen for you Where do we go from here?

I Hate You

I hate you

I hate that look in your eyes
That makes me despise
Myself for wanting you

I hate you

I hate your smile and the way that your tease
Plays on my need to please
Every inch of you

I hate you

I hate that you withhold your affection
And in that I find protection
Guarding myself from you

I hate you

I hate the feel of your touch
That I covet so much
I think of nothing but you

I hate you

I hate that you’re there every day
That I wait for your ‘Hey!’
Needing to be near you

Mostly though

I hate me

I hate that I can’t keep away from you
And that the selfishness in you
Shows only the flaws in me

Soft Shadows

The willows whisper
clouds gaze above
On forgotten fields
that once grew love
Eye's sparkle gone
dust in its place
A fading flower
hope's tear-stained face
The day is ending
Hues' kiss goodnight
Soft shadows cruel tease
That everything's all right

~Lyric Man

Note: This is an echo poem from one of my favorite poets on the Soup. I heard she has now gone and I had the beauty and the melancholy colliding inside.
