Writing a Love Sonnet POTD

If only I could write you a sonnet,
Iambic pentameter and what not,
Let my muse mull profoundly upon it.
I must write it quickly lest I forgot.

It will have to stress real passion, love,
Mention a rose if I really must
But for heaven's sake leave out the white dove,
Still do mention the red moon that I trust.

Compare her eyes to some fragrant flower,
And wish to taste her full strawberry lips,
Scheme to meet her in a quiet bower,
Clouds enfold us in mythical eclipse.

Will she come, will she go, my marigold?
Ah, my poor love sonnet has now gone cold.

Champagne Cravings and Saffron Spice

In evening eyes an ember’s gleam I see
emotions ripple from your depths and spread
across your surface known to be glassy
are ripened waves of passion crashing red

Now crocus of your crave in bloom and flare
on bed of saffron petals - spice we seize
in festival of lust on my skin bare
a thousand tingles mingle pleasures tease

Your lips brush mine with strawberry caress
then kiss me deep your tongue unties my lace
I open up to you and your finesse
we toast with our champagne in love’s embrace

As ravishment reflects epiphany
amour I see through rosy tiffany

Enchanting Whispers

Enchantment of this soul
breathing inside the magic aroma.
Under the hawthorn bush a fragrance lingers
appearing out of thin air my dream

Lunar circle turning over earthern thoughts
a strawberry cream moon softly whispers
Under the green turf you are held solid diamond
the beauty of midnight tolls

Growing all over the castle walls ivy emotions
gripping feelings cotton soft slippers hold a print
Embracing cold stone warmly clinging onto chambers walls
Transforming kisses tenderly inside the heart and soul

Disarmament of a Shield-maiden

A clenching of our hands,
A clinging of our bands.
The sweet aroma of your strawberry-coated strands,
Allow my capability to disarm your fragility.

Pent-up anticipation will meet expectation,
You adorn your shield-maiden attire,
Encouragement to set your onyx rose on fire.
Peeling, petal by petal, stitch by stitch,
Disarming that body metal.

Steel-clad discarded,
Billowing towards her pear-shaped derriere.
Lifting you off your feet,
Give me the sweet treasures I wish to taste—
The nectar of vanilla.

Lay back as I extract
Bridled years of frustration.
Call me your salvation,
Made anew,
Basking in the afterglow of you.

- I Admit My Summer Flirt -

Once in a while
   I say no
   But you are so seductive
   and dangerous
   The taste of you ...
   You are melting
   on my tongue
   A pleasure
   of love
On the surface you are so sweet
   Your inner self is frozen
   Even if you
   are cold
   you warm
   my heart
   A little kiss
   my hot lips
   become numb
   I taste you
   with greed
   Bits bit of you
   Just a little
   Sweet taste in my mouth
   Close my eyes
   Enjoy ...
   Do you want to taste
   my delicious
   strawberry ice cream

The meadow is full of Strawberries

                                     Large juicy delicious strawberries

Take a straw and thread them on

                                       They smell like warm summer

Pick as many as you want

                                        Cute lipstick of strawberries

                                         I love your beautiful smile

                                         When you get back home

                                          Sprinkle a little sugar on

Strawberry Ice Cream

Dish held my sugar cone
Ice cream of plump strawberries they were not alone
Sunny afternoon this was sweet when I was young
Hushed my talking tongue.

Taking Away the Loneliness

Oceans of loneliness forgiven petrichor slowly dances away a strawberry kiss commencement in deepest recesses of my mind just linger with desserts of pleasure wrapped around the very essence of my soul brandy hints, a take of summer shining down upon her grace footfalls ambulate the shoreline docked, the harbour is way too too full no rush of roses blushing in the daylight there's a new day sense of smell fresh cut green green grasses as she struts and shakes her *** there is no weeping for the lonely I'm going to take it all away

A Voyage Into You

A voyage of you that starts with a kiss...
A ride taken slow without a spot missed...
Silky curves that have a life of its own...
Rivers of fruit that leads to your home...
Strawberry rainbows that encircle your body...
We drift into bliss as you surrender to me...
Hands that learn to speak on this tasty ride...
Where we lay on a stage where passion can't hide...

Strawberry Love

I am looking blindly into the fridge
Searching and savouring the chilled air, I reach in
Take hold of a strawberry and hand it to you.
Its body, fresh and pure can relax in your palm.
You are the keeper of my heart.

Its many eyes, black seeds that rest around
The waist, sleep in cycles, stare out into the darkness.
It remains on your flesh, Merges like a collage with the twists and bends.
As time passes, its chill dwindles. Harsh heat invades the creases.
Its natural form bleeds away in a sticky juice.

Midsummer Scream

Midsummer hot afternoon hip
From licking lips of ice-cream drip.

Chocolate and mint I often crave
But strawberry - my old time fave!

Exquisite, palate pleasing taste -
My thrilled tongue twirling, soaked and bathed.

Body and mind of chilling bliss -
Hot and cold dish of ice cream kiss.

Ultimate height under the sun,
Where joy and pleasure melts in one.

Midsummer dream of taunting tease -
Languorous love in heat wave breeze!

Strawberries and Unknown Girl

Strawberries And Unknown Girl

Strawberries grow unaided in the field
Green, red and magic on the day
Sentinels stationed; they speak kindly of the Sun
And sometimes of an unknown girl
She’s there just out of reach
In the air, partaking of sweet pleasures
Years collect themselves in silence
Still sense her song and mystery adrift
Along strawberry rows aligned in history
Those corridors of time in endless days at play
And there she stays a fair young maiden
A constant unknown wonder to this day

Rose Queen

Ooh la la, the rose, coronate her beauty. Her ruffled scent, her hues, dare not refuse. When petals red, like strawberry-fruity, and lovey-dovey white, one must persue. Persistent veil of mist will kiss one’s soul, will kill one’s love for any forthright bud. She’s no petulant child, a fine trompe l’oiel. Commands perfume’d ascent of pulse, life’s blood. Beneath the fray, a thorn’d adversary will snag the jugular of swivel-head. Her red pursed lips, dove-skin, a bit scary. Don’t be tempted to find another’s bed. She stands ten feet tall-er than uncut weeds. She possesses a prowess set that leads. 3/14/2021

Red Flowers From My Love

Summertime lover I'm waiting at the station; Strawberry evening! Anticipation heartbeat, like rainbow glimpsed from a street. Dusky moments fly like dense willows in wild wind, in the moss green spring. Then a train roars like thunder Scent blooms 'neath stars of slumber.

Melt and Fade Away

Beneath the heavens
An endless garden

The summer sun sneaks
A wink of amorous warmth
Seeks an ardent love
Walking not alone

Humming full of wonder
Critiques, and ponders
Knocking at the door
Of yesterday perfect love.
Crave to release the world
Bound to the pages
Page by page

Another night to drown
In the waves of his
Moonlight blue eyes
Nestle deeply into his soul
Melt and fade away in his arms
Savor honey kiss once again

The Strawberry moon rises
Light cast shadows in darken absence
Smitten with utter stillness
Whilst she weakens giving up to the world
Its myth beneath the heavens

Golden Heart

Beneath thy eyes lay a sweet loving soul;
To it, the weak and strong of hearts attract;
A queen thou art seeking not finest gold,
But for gold hearts thou seem to stage an act.

Whereon thy lips, strawberry sweets reside,
That weary thoughts, its taste might all dismiss;
For days on end, thy lips have yearned in pride...
...For golden hearts they yearn to kiss with bliss.

Thy beauty lures even the blind of sight,
For thou art fairer than the Queens on Earth;
And thy treasure, a golden hearts' delight...
...Thy treasured love, of more delight than wealth;

And if my words to thee have love impart,
Daresay I'm deemed a man of golden heart.

Suddenly Lost

SUDDENLY LOST Sunset serenades disperse thoughts are her refrains smiling yet she tears. The autumn wind greets, cool breeze brushed her pallor cheeks, her head in the clouds. Rumbles crash silence, denial rush to her lips, ghost eyes snap and slit. The strawberry lies made her wait for sunrises, truth kissed bittersweet. Innocence murdered by colorful, luring masks, times were trashed, wasted. _____________________________ *** Contest Name: LOST Sponsor: Broken Wings 10:33pm, February 05, 2016

John Doe

Rise and shine
The world outside is awaiting us two

Across leas of the sun
Just Me and you

We shall glide like water droplets
On petal hues

Then evaporate into the air
Like wet morning dew

Swaying like a summer breeze
Would gracefully do

Melting like strawberry ice cream
Under a sunlight, imbued

Like skates on smooth ice
Slithering our way through

Across the rivers of Evermore
We shall serenely canoe

Painting all mountains red
Like a dawn anew

Rise and shine,
If only you knew

Strawberry Fields

Dreamt he closed his eyes
In field of sweet strawberries
His lips touched freshness

Bursting desire
Eager for the warmth of sun...
Harvested in vain...

Roses, Rubies, and Strawberries

Mi fantasma dulce

Send me a rose
This Valentine's Day
A single red

Reminds me of
The crimson light
We shared

Years ago

Mi fantasma dulce

Send me a ruby
This Valentine's Day
A single red

Reminds me of
The sparkling passion
We shared

Years ago

Mi fantasma dulce

Send me a strawberry
This Valentine's Day
A single red

Reminds me of
The earthen treats
We shared

Mi fantasma dulce

Where did all those red years go?

Of

Roses
Rubies
And
Strawberries

Es día de San Valentín
