In a Vampish Way

In a vampish way, the moon erupts from the sea
pirouetting across white cap and trough valley
through an impassioned performance of love set free
	in a vampish way.

A persistent tease, she sets her mind to dally
with Eros’ desirous heart as her victory,
only to break it with her vigorous sally.

Darkened midnight skies find her in malicious glee
as she counts coup for a final mental tally
and she continues en l’air on her odyssey
	in a vampish way.

I Love Nature

I love all the changes the seasons bring crisp autumn leaves or winter’s icy freeze and in the summer sun I’ll be basking Mother nature’s gifts I can hear the dawn chorus sweetly sing spiders spin threads like a shiny trapeze and tiny fledgling chicks take to the wing I adore the colors of stunning spring, pale pink sakura blossoms adorn trees bright xanthic daffodils look quite dazzling Mother nature’s gifts Writing Challenge, Feb 2019, Roundel Form Sponsored by Dear Heart 2/10/19

My Sweet Fairy Dream

My sweet fairy dream, blossoms of my glee,
In your embrace unfold desires of night
When donning bold smile you answer my plea
My sweet fairy dream

Oh! how you paint splendorous day so bright
On blue morning skies for romance to spree
Where parable of sweethearts passions write

Blazing with glory where sun greets the sea
While golden arc glimmers in mauve delight
Spanning love wings, oh, how you uplift me!
My sweet fairy dream

I Love Nature

So soft the fall in silent flight
As snowflake dance to winter's song
Like butterflies with wings of white
 A dance of beauty

As winter fades spring comes along
And blooms with colors to delight
Petals wrapped in a bright sarong

In summer sun they glow so bright
And songbirds croon all the day long
As clouds dance by fluffy and light
 A dance of beauty

If I Were a Mayfly

If I were a mayfly, living but for a day,
I’d still live each moment with no thought of goodbye,
Ever hopeful like summer in the month of May,
If I were a mayfly.

For though life would fleet, my love for you would abide,
And though time might flit, long would the memories stay
Of a sunrise and a sunset spent by your side.

I would be glad that with you I’ve grown old and gray,
That passion has waxed yet never waned with the tide,
And I’ve spent a life with you ere I fly away,
If I were a mayfly.

If I Could Fly

If I could fly,I would spread my strong wings
more than the birds that hover in the sky,
And take you on my wings to dine with kings,
If I could fly?

Our love will bloom, without sorrow or cry,
We will dance with the winds,as the gale sings,
And heavenly bliss lifts our souls up high,
Sweet vibes will engulf us,as wedding bell rings.

Yet,this restriction we have to comply,
Worst still;we must endure the sadness it brings,
If I could fly.

The Spirit of Otter Lake (Roundel)

At Otter Lake, whilst welkin starry clear,
A ghostly wail bruits eerily despair,
And eyes appear alit like embers near,
At Otter Lake.

Avaunt, the trappers pray, bedim thy glare;
In sooth, thy mourning grieves a bygone year,
From earthly bourn, ascend to angels care.

Arose a zephyr, thick as bloodied air,
And shrieking withered every soul with fear,
To where a man durst lay his footsteps there,
At Otter Lake.

In the Garden of Eden

In the Garden of Eden, all peace and tranquility
Until Satan in his prideful rebellious season
With his gimmickry introduced sin willingly
In the Garden of Eden

Oh! The separation between God and man_ depletion
The cross held one God/man whose love is affinity
This constant love draws man it's a life saving beacon

God had a plan to save man from his fallibility
There 'pon that cruel cross when it seemed Satan had beaten
Jesus saved man, He lives again_God now our total accessibility
In the Garden of Eden....

Silent Ambience of Love

Chill shadow fall covering gray
Spark ember glow in the distance
Field reverberate muffled bray

Soft cool silk silent ambience

Earthward lonesome darken path lay
Veil on penchant earth's fluorescence
Two romantical waltz their way
Full laughter and lost innocence
Whereas a billion stars astray

Soft cool silk silent ambience

I Love Nature

Under ice-coated sky, bare trees brave
Cutting cold, to drink silver sunlight
For chance of tender spring leaves to save
Hope-April's birthright

Baby grass awakes thawing green night
Fragile blossoms of revival gave
Perfumed pastel petals, softly bright

A garden of pink and yellow waves
Visions to bloom beyond winter's sight
A picture of flower paths to pave
Hope-April's birthright

Carousel In Roundel

SITTING BESIDE ME on the seat
swimming in the air
At the neon light wonders
beaming
I am glad you know that this is
my flair
SITTING BESIDE ME.

Oh! This moment the whisper of
love humming
Arm in arm we make a unique
pair
Your quiet love still my life once
stormy.

In your love I am not ashamed
to be bare!
As we go round, merrying I am
dreaming
That my joy is bright and clear
SITTING BESIDE ME.

Spun Gold - Rondel Prime

Her hair is the color of spun gold,

Her lips like the petals of a rose!

Her teeth like white pearls that the gods chose,

A visage of wonder to behold.

Her great beauty has not been half told

 An intelligence is hers that shows;

Her hair is the color of spun gold,

Her lips like the petals of a rose.

She is mine and mine alone to hold,

Love light in her eyes see how it glows!

Given to me whom the fates well chose,

Determined by them in times of old.

Her hair is the color of spun gold.

Her lips like the petals of a rose.

The Things I Do

The things I do for what I love;
Passion has left its residue,
a shine I cannot get rid of;
The things I do;

Staring wide eyed at the preview
fiction could never script this stuff;
Believe me, the stories are true;

Hit my limit then I call it’s bluff
‘Do not enter’ I walk right through
Fine line is just not bent enough
The things I do.

I Love Nature

I Love Nature The blizzard piled the falling snow that day; with temps in teens, hard-frozen it became. The walks and roads were nowhere on display. Winter's magic show. The next day brought warm rain that did reclaim some melted snow- but soon, night's frigid stay had crystallized the surface as winds came. Throughout the night, ice mirrored each moon ray. Come morn, the sun brought gifts with its acclaim- a glaze that glowed like satin applique. Winter's magic show. Sandra M. A Childhood Memory

My bro and sis approached Dad by design
while staying in the background was my whim.
Dad drove me for care when sick at age nine.
Daddy carried me throughout hospital

When small I both loved my Dad and feared him.
At hospital, Dad passed the wheelchair line
and cradled me with love in his strong limbs.

Being ill made recall of Dad’s touch mine.
Toting me was his own wish, not just vim.
Reliving his hold makes my grown heart shine.
Daddy carried me throughout hospital

A Man's Desire

Give me your love, a man desires it all
Even though he is undeserving of
Your thought, it’s to your heart he makes his call
So, standing here I say – Give me your love

Or shall these words be lost, never heard of
His heart thus left into the pain and fall
Beneath the skies with only stars above

Your answer, then, can make him small or tall
His soul in your hands like a lost glove
As I say the words that give you my all
Give me your love!

God Chose You

God chose you for me to raise; every step of every mile I loved teaching you to walk, prompted by my loving gaze you made all my worries and anxieties well worthwhile. God chose you for me to raise. It was so long ago, it's like a dream trapped in a maze but when I'm lucky such memories come and stay awhile although lately time has muddled my thoughts within a haze. When you were born I was rendered speechless and immobile and instantly knew I loved you; and would love you always as my life comes to an end I can face death with a smile. God chose you for me to raise. (Roundel) 04,12,2019

Cyclamen

I bought more cyclamen and recalled you
Wandering through wildflowers by my side
I don’t know where to put them, they might die
Then I would feel so sad and lonely blue
All we read of pain and love is true.
Yet we let our hearts stay open wide
I bought some cyclamen and recalled you
Wandering through wildflowers by my side
I have loved not widely but a few
I have touched on bliss and when it flies
I have touched the grief that truly lies
I bought cyclamen and recalled you

The Silence Is More Friendly

The silence seems more friendly than before
It’s like a melody felt in my ear
This love has taken from me, my own fear
When silence was an omen with dark door
The flowers and all of nature, I adore
Gone are paranoia and its seers.
The silence seems more friendly than before
It’s like sweet silent music to my ear
I am drawn to love you more and more.
Hypnotic like the sun on Windermere
A misty air arising as we peer
The silence is more friendly than before

Life Is Fleeting

All life is fleeting; I'm destined to die, and though I'm a conscious thinking being, the laws of nature equally apply; all life is fleeting. Faith helps me to believe without seeing that there is a heaven, God rules on high, and I possess a soul that needs freeing. God's love is something I can't quantify, and yet blind faith sends any doubts fleeing. Even though I get to love, laugh, and cry; all life is fleeting.

Giggles of Joy

You bring giggles of joy and a smile to my lips and have never made me feel like yesterday's toy, you're the sun; shadows of depression can't eclipse, you bring giggles of joy. You believe in me, molding a man from a boy and support me whenever my self-image slips, I'm your Paris, and you are my Helen of Troy. Helen's beauty launched over a thousand warships and like Her, you are beautiful, witty, and coy, with your angelic soul and hedonistic hips; you bring giggles of joy.

My Eternal Grief

Move on,... time will heal it all
Scab makes my wound look so hard.
Anguish gnaws my heart, tears crawl
My grief does not go away.

Stabs of pain, my soul scarred
Your love, I miss and recall.
Sleepless nights, go miles and yard.

Mourning death, I wake and fall.
Loneliness, ... crippled and marred,
Amputed life... moves in thrall.
My grief does not go away.

Heard Tell

Ghost
Sightings are hard to ignore
Especially since they cause such
An uproar
Along the sea coast.
Where old sailors start to boast
About how their beings with unfinished
Business as they're bringing up stories
Of forgotten captains, mates, and sea lore.
Ghost
Sightings are hard to ignore
Undermost
Normal circumstances throw in love,
Treasure, and gore
Naturally people will want to hear more.
They'll even go online and read every post.
Ghost
Sightings are hard to ignore.

My Faint Ray of Sun

Like the faint ray of sun on an autumn day,
Thou alluring Josephus, bring all my warmth.
Trestles on trees crunch while the birds play;
And all the stars sparkle as if it was the fourth.

Crossing paths with displeasing actions,
Worrisome over my fleeting hereafter,
You are the calming force of my interactions.
The gracious beauty of mine rejoices in laughter.

Till the very day of our sweet encounter,
You’ll give every kiss through our 4 grand miles.
Every second that tick is worth all your smiles.
Infatuating more than our hearts portray,
Like the faint ray of sun on an autumn day.
