humor,
Thought to first originate in Peru,
It’s a true tomato fact,
oval or round, and juicy too
from beefsteak to compact.
Tomato! be you red or green,
nutritionally you are boss,
whether topping a salad like a queen
or at the heart of pasta sauce.
Without you, ketchup would be taboo,
saucy salsa you wouldn’t see
marinara, we’d have to do without,
you’re the soul of the BLT.
Cousin to the eggplant,
you grow on vines above,
in France they honor you by name,
known as the “apple of love”,
So Hooray for you sweet, seedy fruit
let us all stop and pause,
to honor the rich ripe goodness you bring
with a hearty round of applause!

- Mark Twain-
~Author's Notes:
The 'Epulaeryu' is a poetry form or style that was developed by Joseph Spence, Sr. The name of the poetic form was selected as a result of experiencing the Mediterranean and Far East cultures, and enjoying many succulent and nourishing meals and food during those memorable travels.

love,
Thinking that i could ever loose u
brings tears to my eyes
its like u punched me in the stomach
and i cant breath
I loose all hope in life
I dont wanna do life without u
I cant see my self watching a show without u
I cant see myself making sushi if its not for u
I cant see myself enjoying a pasta bowl without u
I cant see myself driving 20 mins for a slice a cheesecake without u
I just cant see my self doing the things that were so special to u
I dont wanna touch another face
I dont wanna smell a different scent
I dont wanna learn him all over again
I know u
I want u
I need u
I love u

Love pasta in any way shape or form
It's basically all the same stuff
Different shapes, sometimes filled
Proudly I'm a pasta buff
With cheese or meat and tomato sauce
Making me drool right now
Might not be able to finish my poem
Heading for the kitch......

dedication
My aunt wanted me to write something espeacially for her,and as much as i like original's i
prefer the second draft to this one:
Maybe she's
cool
Maybe am a favourite neice
Of a shrink of love and peace
The cream
To my fruit
Exhausted samy
Cant have the kids on mute
Pasta sauce
"It's mint,not meat"
Shopping tour in rome
In her tiny shrunken feet
Ms.Riane
A dumbfounded shrink
And her neice
Who can't attend the sink
The shivering dutch trees
And a mashamba me
Will have in her heart
Her favourite aunty
(Mashamba:A swahelli word referring to someone who is not accustomed to something
commenly known in the modern word)

foodfriend,
I once had a friend named Louie
who never gave a hooey
about when he ate
as long as his mate
fixed his favorite chop suey.
Louie was married to Betty
who much preferred spaghetti
but when Louie said, "Please,
fix my favorite Chinese"
Betty said, "I won't be so petty
since pasta is in the suey
and I really love you, Louie."
So she took all day
chop, chopping away
till onions made her eyes dewy.
Help!! I don't have an end
to this saga of my friend ...
no way to finish
this tasty suey dish
perhaps you have one to lend?

Blue touring car , top down , rolling past palms
Brilliant white suit and panama hat . Car toots!
Enjoying company sharing fine wine and pasta
Radiating high energy and a warm personality
She felt the warmth of his breath he whispered
It doesnt matter . I love you. Youre beautiful.
She smiled her forehead covered with kisses
She finally let herself relax loosened her scarf
Harps, lutes , ivory horns, kettle drums , guitars
Hung high from the ceiling and oak panel walls

foodme, family, family, love, me,
I love macaroni salad and macaroni and cheese.
I'm so hungry give me some pretty please.
I love all kinds of pasta but my fav.is angel hair.
When it's time for dinner it's hard for me to share.
Bringing egg noodles to a boil and put chicken in the pot.
To feed my big family you always need a lot.
Grand kids love penne pasta they say it's the best.
When they have it with cheese it gives me a rest.
I make a great lasagna with Italian bread.
At least thats what my family said.
I roll manicotti and stuffed it with chicken.
My whole family said ummm it's finger lick'en.

allusion, desire, for him, friend, love, thank you, tribute,
Loving is a verb,
Sign--do not disturb,
Like a kiss of pasta,
Makes a woman bellissima
Vesuvius explodes,
Time travel in odes,
Aeons of love's roads,
I never got over you,
Love is a verb to view,
Negativity is so fabulous,
Time travel for the two of us,
I never got over you,
Loving is a verb to view.

Said a modern young man
to a possible intended to be a
serious dating girlfriend:
Oh babe...I feel from afar
your delicious fragrance of
braised onion in
mom's frying pan...
You have the perfume so
mind-blowing as cheese
grated by grandma ...
You taste finer than
a the best selling
sandwich of Mac Donald ...!
You're over appetizing than
a Steak and Chips,
than a pasta
with sauce ...
Your kiss tastes plus
soft than milk shake,
or a Neapolitan ice cream!
I desire you, as i

husband, love, people, wife,
Jocelyn, secretly puzzelled
over how she could marry a man named Morely.
Morely the moaner she secretly called him.
As most women do,
she understood the perversities of men
She made leeway for their impracticality,
their visions, their unfulfillable dreams.
She sometimes felt life would be better alone
or with a pragmatic, well anchored female roomie.
It was just too laste for that she was thinking
as she stirred the pasta to keep it from sticking.
She knew that Morely could be driven
to do the dishes after the meal.
Then they would drift off into the evening.

foodme, me,
I don't claim to be an epicure
But there's one pasta dish that's sure
To get me to the table fast.
It's macaroni/beef goulash.
I make it with the small sea shells.
My tongue tastes of the little wells
Of tomato sauce that's found therein,
So tasty that it make me grin.
When I am tired and want to crash
A big bowl of my loved goulash
Will pep me up as it fills my tummy.
I love it because it is so yummy.
