A Life Not Lived

I am not remembered in any form or way
Undeserving of their love and respect.
I understand, and yet I grieve.
For myself.

For what I lost
Ignoring the ones who could have
Showered me with love
But did not
Because they knew me not.

I reserve my place in the cosmos
Of ignorance
Recognizing truth and love
once again upon the throne of death
as I enter a kingdom I do not deserve

The angels grabbed me and gave me
what I had sought on earth in the form
of lust, not even my biggest mistake.
My soul cries now
At a life not lived.

True Warmth

Please don't mistake a smile for warmth, it's not
Behind the surgeon's smile sure lurks a knife
That pal at work you hang out with a lot
Will cut your heart out, ruin your very life

When young, we think we have a million friends
We laugh, we play, we think that life is great
Though really they pursue their selfish ends
So easy for their love to turn to hate

True warmth won't turn you out in winter's cold
It cooks a hearty meal for you at night
It also will take care of you when old
It sympathizes with your every plight

Look past that smile, my friend, and see the heart
~ The best advice to you I can impart

The Best Mistake

You made the mistake and now,
your afraid to face this day.

Your thoughts are racing through
and through.

You wonder if your family looks at
you as a disgrace, but you'er mother
takes you and reasures, your very
much loved in grace.

Even though your much to young
for this breathing little thing this
has become.

You couldn't just throw it out
like it was a peice of trash.

So you grow up and take the
path that led you to your best
mistake for years to come.

Simple Is Just Simply Me

Complicated I am not
Frustrated I can be
Simple is my quest
Contests I do my best

I leave perfection to all the rest
I only write what I feel
Spell Check I leave up to you
Much soup mail I receive

A true blessing given to me
Helpful hints and missed spelled words
All giving me love in your words
My head is not so big

To help me when in need
My heart fills with smiles
When I make a mistake
For I know you will help me

This is the love I have found
I love making Mistakes and
Your Soup Mail you send to me!

I Kissed Another Girl

(This is a fictional poem)

When I kissed another girl, word got back to you.
You slapped my face and told me that we're through.
Most kisses taste pretty sweet but that kiss was tart.
Now I'm all alone nursing a broken heart.
Kissing that girl was foolish and it was a mistake.
But I'll make it up to you no matter how long it takes.
I can't go on if our love is at an end.
If you'll take me back, I'll never look at another woman again.
You're the only woman who I want to be with.
So I'm on my knees begging you to forgive.

The Ballad of Connie Marcum Wong

An idiom by which she's always stuck
is 'having one's head buried in a book'
The truth behind it, she was unprepared
that morning as she went to climb the stairs.
Stopping to lift a bottle, bad mistake
especially when one isn't quite awake
her balance gone, could not control herself
now plunging headlong into the book shelf.
Bruised head, bruised knees, bruised pride was quite enough,
thankfully, make-up would disguise the scuffs.
But then she only went and made it worse
by saying that it would make a good verse.

Hopefully next time she will be wiser
and not tell me, but tell 'Trip Advisor'

Echo

Many voices from the past,
Always echoing in my head,
How long can it last,
I thought you were dead.

You always tell me what to do,
So I don't make a mistake,
Somehow you always knew,
How many I could make.

Because once I hurt you,
And you'll never let me forget,
But what can I do,
You're not quite dead yet.

Why won't you leave me alone,
Will you never forgive me,
I wish I could atone,
Please, just let me be.

The hollow echo of your voice,
Will linger on forever,
You've given me no choice,
It'll never stop, ever.

The sound of you used to make me smile,
But now it tortures me,
I will always be in denial,
So an end I'll never see.

Not Knowing

I know I made a mistake
a mistake that I cannot change
but I did it unknowing
not knowing the consequences
and there are many of them
not knowing I will lose you forever
and never be in your arms again
not knowing you wouldn't want me back
after all the times I've tried
not knowing I would feel so much pain
my heart aches and yearns for your love
not knowing I would lay crying so many nights
my eyes and head hurting from so many tears
not knowing you would move on
you no longer want me you like someone else
not knowing you wouldn't love me anymore
I still love you and always will

I hate what I did
not knowing the consequences

Show You the Way

Show You the Way

Isle of Man much history it is full of
Has often been called island of love
No matter where on or is your stance
Island is completely full of romance.

In between everywhere is well situated
When there will be enormously elated
If on enchanted island either close or far
Pretty people an added plus they all are.

God, great becoming island did make
So perfect and never made a mistake
Even if off course or may be astray
To Isle of Man God will show you the way.

It's a Curse To Own a Hearse

Instead of being a chick magnet, my vehicle is a curse.
No woman will go out with me because I own a hearse.
I bought my hearse because it runs great and it was dirt cheap.
But when women see it, they slap my face and call me a creep.
I finally got a date with the woman of my dreams.
But when she saw my hearse, she ran and screamed.
Women don't want to make out where corpses have been.
Because of my vehicle, they won't date me, they find other men.
If you already have a bad love life, making my mistake will only make it worse.
Women will not date a man if he drives a hearse.

(I got the idea for this poem from a TV show that I saw.)

If We Are All Just Dreaming and Life Has No Meaning

If we’re all just dreaming and life has no meaning And tomorrow’s no better or worse Than what we do now is pointless somehow Including another new verse. To this one uplifted From one that was shifted From down in the deep bottom bilge; If life is a squander Then why do we wander In search of our fortunes and fills. If love has no reason And winter’s no season And snow never falls from the sky; If the past is pointless and memories dim Why even open our eyes? From this slumbering state This giant mistake Of human existence and emotions; If we’re all just dreaming and life has no meaning We should all go drown in the oceans.

Making Choices

Everyone has a choice to make,
As they travel through their life.
Everyone will ponder their choice,
not wanting to make a mistake.

Many will choose the easy way,
no strength or focus is required.
Some have a need to do their best,
“I want adventure”, they will say.

To them each turn brought something new,
and challenges were always there.
Each victory brought a lesson learned,
with each lesson confidence grew.

The choice was never right or wrong,
for life is not easy or hard.
Love God first, others, then thyself,
Life will be purposeful and long.

Just For You

Heavy steel blue clouds dominate
The morning sky before day
A cool but dampness fills the air
Out on the porch to stay

A short while to enjoy the view
Before the sun rise red
To hear the crickets sing their tune
And roosters' song some dread

A Cardinal chirps to his mate
Songs of love at daybreak
Magenta coats horizon's clouds
Beautiful ~ no mistake

The Master Artist strokes earth's canvas
With colors of his design
Man can try to duplicate them
Given a lifespan of time

Beauty for just a few minutes
Then swish nature's scene's changed
Cobalt blue clouds hang suspended
As fog floats 'pon the range

The Tree and the Trigger

When you pulled the trigger
you came to me and tried to love me
ask my forgiveness,
it made me cry, it was so cold
I shook with your suffering
I drew you in the afterlife
alone and crying with gods light
asking you to come
Your remorse,
your shame, a mistake,
you had so much to give
i painted two trees
one that was dying
the other was dead
the tree loved you
amd misses you still

Me, Myself, and I

YOU see the beauty in everything
YOU love the way I speak
YOU are falling for a killer
YOU will surly die
YOU shouldn't come closer
YOU have made a mistake
YOU are being stupid
YOU need to go away
YOU leave now
YOU need to be safe
YOU are being stupid
YOU are now dead

I see death everywhere
I hate myself
I am a murderor
I will surly kill you
I warned you not to get closer
I told you about your mistake
I am trying my best
I need you to leave
I said stop being stupid
I'm trying to proteact you
I am killing you
I am sorry

Me, Myself, and I must live forever alone with no love
Because of the things I've done
No love
Living alone for
Eternity

Apology

Heart aches a great deal.
Feeling the guilt' real.
Pouring through my eyes is tears;
Unable to put in words my fears.
Though am the partial wrong doer'
I wouldn't like to justify, as it is over.

And to you i sing this apology song,
As i cannot forget you for a second long,
For the mistake i committed, knowing,
Just avoiding your advices from following.

Frightened, that the love you bestowed would cease,
I plead you to forgive me and bestow your love in ease.
Punish me with word or hand.
Never ever band me from experiencing your love,
As you are my second mother,
And my heart gives no place to another.
Accept my apology!

Written In the Stars

If loving you is wrong
I don't ever want to right.
If loving you is a sin
I outrightly reject righteousness.
If loving you is disobedience
I give in to mutiny.
If loving you is folly
I swear I detest Solomon.
If loving you is madness
I deny not my state of lunacy.
If loving you is an error
I want to keep this mistake.
If loving you is death
I am a living dead person.
But if loving you is life, means life
Believe me...
The state of my heart,
This outpour of my emotions,
The lovely looks in your eyes
And this ranging fire in our hearts
Was written in the stars... .

Stranger Thy Father

I fear our next encounter;
haunted by your sight.

Your presence penetrates my heart like a knife.

Your not a man but an intruder,
forcing your way, judge and juror.

Hand down your penalty, much we must take.
Abrasions, contusions, are your biggest mistake.

Hugs and kisses, only come from jerks,
"I LOVE YOU - I'M SORRY",
your BANDAIDS don't work.

Brute force.
Torn at the seams.

Dare to move.
Dare to scream.

Noise not permitted,
take it, be silent.
Withhold your tears in his judgement.

Is there a thin line between DISLIKE and HATE?
Can you define where one begins and the other one waits?

Desparity of Love

Living on the lower side
Of town just gets me down
There ain't no money
Ain't no work here to be found

There ain't no luck and I
Ain't seen no magic charms
The only magic that I've found
Is in my babys arms

Litter lines the city streets
To show how much we care
Flowers die and birds get high
From breathing filthy air

I look around and try
To see where beauty lies
The only beauty that I've found
Is in my babys eyes

People try to tell me
We're living in a fantasy
But they don't understand
It's real for her and me

They try to tell me
We're making a mistake
If that means loving her
Then that's the chance I'll take

Red velvet cake

On my table

Make no mistake

Ain't no fable

Newly bought dresses

Tantalise me

Inamorato confesses -

Crazy for thee

A Difference

I see girls send each other cards and cake,
Condolences or hugs, the sweetest rhymes,
Given as free as breath, to share or take,
True friendship’s memories of happy times.

How much is meant or lied I cannot guess,
But when men wish for kisses, ears to hear
Our dreams and heal our grief with tenderness,
We fail in finding ways to bring us near.

I see girls send each other cards and cake,
Men don’t. The very most that men will do
Is mock or give strong words. It’s our mistake
To hope the same old ways may bring us through.

Men still believe in strength, coping alone,
Deluded that a heart is made of stone.

Real Rubaiyat

Sorry for the fake
Just realized I made a mistake
Often, I don't admit
!st one I did make

Ok, That was a lie
Let's just let it fly
I won't tell, If you don't
Ain't gonna explain why

Varieties, I'll figure them out
Poems, I will shout
Depends on what day it is
Hard to reach some levels, No doubt

Words, I love to write
See them in my sight
Rules, Didn't know they're so many
Rules, Ok I'll be polite

Sorry for past confusion
I brought you to my delusion
Fun though, Huh?
Well that's the conclusion

The Way I Love You

I become lost looking into your eyes
Your lovely face designed to mesmerize
My devoted heart pumps strong and rapid
Not a moment we share will be vapid

By your side, I will stay forevermore
To admire your beauty which I adore
As if but a dream I fear to awake
Knowing losing you would be a mistake

With every kiss, life rejuvenated
A fiery passion exhilarated
Whenever apart I long for your touch
Happily, I'll always love you too much

Our souls bond will everlastingly grow
For the astonishing gifts, you bestow

Mends a Broken Heart

Her loves sheds light
on my crushed broken heart,
A heart now free of all pain and sorrow
that once tore it apart...

My heart now filled
with lots of joy, happiness and a wonderful glee,
She now shows her love
a love for only me...

Do I truly
deserve such a gracious love?
Did God send me his blessings
a blessing from above???

Am I just in a dream
that I see only at night,
Or is this love for real
or my selfish over sight???

One thing for sure
that I know is no mistake,
My baby truly loves me
For her love is not a fake...

Thank you my love
for my heart you did mend,
I now know most certainly,
Your love God did send...
