Entertainer-Anacreontic Couplets

Charmed by her exotic glance She enchants a sexy dance In costumed display of art Strumming rhythms of joyful heart Choreographing slow grooves In graceful, musical moves As gestures paint passion themes And song of love stokes their dreams When desires-enamored spree Hypnotized in tunes of glee But look closely, watch her sigh Hear the bawl of tearless cry When crowds deceitful extol Exhibit of anguished soul As smiles aesthetic hide pain And feigned visage cries disdain Cheer for her to turn the page For she longs to leave this cage Leave realms inebriated Of drunk notions, ill-fated

Sequins Of Savannah Sunset

I'm an estuary of ivy-furs, sleeping in monsoonal moonglades of love~ as the savannah sun of sunset blurs, slowly unveiling stars with golden glove. When russet- fairies twirl in a bronze lake, singing with springs of watermelon wand, an untouched summer unfurls behind ache, lacing twilights with lush wishes, so fond. Garden of grapefruit, doesn't forbid faith, exotic eyes paint life with a rare art, where hilly hues drape seashores ~ daisy-bathe, my muse weaves magic on the 'bay of heart'.

Island of Love

Seagulls serenade the salty air, as serene clusters of dreams~ weave poetry with palm leaves. There, waves whisper exotic love, ferrying memories of an island.

Summer of Enchantment

Warm evenings have that lazy feel,
As the sun sets upon the day.
An orange ball suspended,
As all cares now swept away.
The exotic smells in the perfumed air,
That lies heavy all around.
Mimosa now that in full bloom,
As its branches drape the ground.
Do you ever look at the sky?
As the stars come out at night.
When you’re held by that someone specials arms,
And don’t want to say goodnight.
Though no spoken word is uttered,
As eyes gaze into eyes
It’s said there windows to the soul,
Mere feelings can’t disguise.
Love can just be fleeting,
With precious thoughts we steal.
And in that brief encounter,
We know that it’s for real.

Wild Roses On The Hill

An escapade sweet as a marshmallow day
when tangerine dreams fed our evergreen stream.
Our magnet attraction neath radiant ray
did butter the air where the breezes did teem
in whirlwind through roses anointing the brae.
Their scent, my surrender, romantic the scheme,
exotic the fever and dance with a flame.
Ah, rapture of capture! The wooer’s end game.

THE ROSE OF VELVET TIME

On the dim lit streets of New York town
You danced for uncrowned kings
The whiskey harsh upon your lips
With eyes that could not see

And I'd await by the ocean's shore
With the horses tethered fast
For dawn would draw you homeward
From each exotic dance

You sought for what M'lady
While youth a withered vine
I had but love to give you
The rose of velvet time

In silks and pleasure lay your dreams
As stone became your heart
And I rode fast upon the winds
But your voice bade me come back

So life remained until the morn
When the music lost all rhyme
A sad goodbye upon the grave
The rose of velvet time

You Plant Me

Plant me like a red rose in your heart
Keep me alive there never loose spark
When you speak may words deliver me
In love to trust what you are saying

Kiss my spirit with your thoughts
Transcending touch to bring lavender love
Fill me like an exotic tea kettle
And drink me in your thirst forever

Smile with your eyes when you hear my name
Find a grin in mine at the thought of you
Dance with me despite my two left fuchsia feet
When I am gone make love to my memory

I love how we are so close
That even in dark I know
Just who you are inside and out
You are my soulmate find in me your house.

Summer

He saunters in with a slow steady gait
gathering all of nature in his warm embrace.

The whimsical artist splashes colors to sky;
miniature airplanes and exotic shaped kites.

Vocal chords of moon beams strummed by crickets and toads;
a serenade through open windows of our humble abodes.

So light on his feet; ocean's glass dance floor;
leading sailboats to sea and lovers to shore.

His breath on your neck puts you under his spell;
caught up in his love, as romances swell.

His pulse beats hot through sun ray veins,
then he showers us with gifts of cool, fresh rain.

We lounge with him in fields and meadows,
and miss him as Fall nudges him deep in the shadows.

Words Can Not Express, My Man

Words can not express the joy I get when I see your face
It encourages me to know I can make it from day to day

Words can not express the way I enjoy your touch
When we are together it's never to much

Words can not express warmth of your lips , when we kiss
It gives me a sense of Heavenly bliss

Words can not express when your body meets with mine
Sending a exotic chill up my spine

Words can not express the way I appreciate everything you do
All I can say is "I truly love you"!!

Oh Your Beauty

Your beauty extends Into the heaven Whispering secrets of Happiness and affection. You look up at me and smile With crinkles in the Corners of your eyes. The smooth beauty of bare skin, Soft stroke of hair like feathers. I'm lost in the smell of Your hair & skin, Your eyes pierce my soul. Gaze upon me With those eyes again, I'm longing to be lost In your embraces. You are exquisite fire, A smooth burn of wild beauty. Your curly, long, light-burgundy hair frames An exquisite blend of exotic beauty. Your touch sends me over the edge, A longing which no verses can describe.

Sweet Memories

Had I been a renowned beauty,
with many suitors at my door,
you'd still be whom I would have chosen
to walk with for-ever-more.

Some may have offered riches
and trip to exotic land,
while you brought me your true love
and a simple wedding band.

Though our love was not forever
for God took you far away,
you left sweet memories to surround me
and brighten up my lonely day.

Where's my baby?
Bring my baby!
She knew something was wrong
Who did she think she was
To risk having a child at forty-six?
The new love demanded it though
And she had prayed it would be all right
But it wasn't.
That exotic little face
Those almond eyes
The old doctor said put it away
It will never grow, it will never know you
It will be a vegetable.
Leave it where it will get the care it needs...
The care he needs?
I will care for him, he is my son.
I will love him and be proud of his accomplishments.
And he grew, and he loved
And accomplished much
His greatest feat being that of bringing
A family together together
Teaching them how to love
And to be proud of him.

Beauty of Day's Harvest

Ah, the exotic blend of new spice
and desires on the tip of the tongue,
love's seductive dawning does entice
cinnamon cravings wakened among

thrills of ardent aster in Fall bloom,
whispers and lips in butterfly tease
stoking hearth’s heat in surrendered swoon
harvesting lust with vanilla ease

on eve of Autumn leaves and passion.

Poise Met Noise

indescribable,
untranscribable ~
imbibable, your exotic, quixotic perfume
spiraled me into a quandary
of dirty laundry, penance,
no superintendents in attendance

I come from ragged boys, no poise,
just noise ~ a quiver of quavers,
no saviors of silence,
but if some sap sullies our sister
we'll flatten him

you come from platinum
a blessed nest of nuance,
a quay of kindness,
finesse, fineness ~
savvy sophistication, subtlety
a quaint saint I ain't

then poise met noise
you became my bible;
undeniable, heavy sighable,
unclassifiable ~
indescribable

Twilight Lies

The twilight lies capture your eyes
from these dreams I see
a staircase where you stand
looking eccentric glancing down at me
what is it my love you wish to taste
desire will kill you for you cannot have your way
so many tangled nights, I never thought I would see you again
what's wrong with you baby
my dream is not about you
it's all among the universe
for I am a star baby
I sing and dance move exotic like
my heart feels the desire as lust tries to take over
a thought beyond the rising of my heavy head
am I in heaven or hell
or caught up in your twilight lies....

My Own Heaven

My Own Heaven

As I sit here on the beach for a while.
I dig my feet into the sand.
As I listen to the waves crashing on the shore.
I know I have a little and then I yearn for more.
I love to feel the sun upon my face.
I would travel to new exotic places.
I have always appreciated the things I have,
Even though it's not a lot.
I love to feel the wind flow through my hair.
I believe it is heaven as if and I am there.
Because my love you, and you are there in my heart.
As there is no other place I would rather be.
In my own heaven right here where I live.
Thank You Jesus
AMEN!!

Star Eyes Something calming, something erotic, Hot Sideritis tea in a gleaming teacup That sings sweetly to me, of lands exotic. The Passion

Love forces, makes me write,
changes my name
with exotic murmurs
waves on a far sandy shore.

Love - can a body stand it?
Touched by an inner God,
I am clay in my own kiln
worked, molded by fiery hands.

Often I wonder why?
Often I stamp a word
into a silent cosmos.
Change me not though,
push me into that inferno.

While others stare at a madman,
I stare into a maelstrom
glad to be this wide-eyed,
this typing upon a typhoon
traveling nowhere but here.

Fireball

a yearning of alabaster guilt given birth
from this mouth of words mesmerising
like rings of Saturn, behold encroached
by your retort, cutting if not comic, life
adjacent to corners of some death, you
lit fires with a tongue and let them burn
reeling in oceans, as salamander heads
lined exotic craters of timely eruptions
yet honey melts heaven in a single kiss

I Imagine You

I imagine you
always, for the first time
burgeoning like an
arum lily

Some exotic flower
falling off the back-end
of a truck, floating
with the breeze
into my hands

I imagine you
as I do, in certain dreams
statuesque in your movements,
so float towards me
as a dream,

I am a non-existent entity
propelled by your perfume
and midnight gardens light

When I imagine you
eternally, in the mirror
of my eyes.

Dark Haired Beauty

Dark haired beauty, so exotic, so surreal,
(Will she tremble at my touch)
I am in her power, she has such appeal.

Gorgeous young lass, a sly look in her eye,
(Just a look says so much)
So much to like, I never want a good bye.

Dark haired beauty, a perfect moment in time,
(My partner in life, love and such)
Hoping against hope, she will want to be mine.

Exotic, Oriental, Beauty

She has been my cup of tea !
Sweet as honey, this she be !

Times have become translucent.
Hard to feel the essence of her sent.

Sunday - taking her to a silver bird.
Across the ocean – Beijing I heard.

Five times, I have taken her to leave.
Five times, I came back to retrieve.

During five years, we still communicate.
Getting back together – not to be my fate.

She will be my last cup of tea.
She will be the last love I will see.

Like the essence of translucent time.
It is easy to see through my rhyme.

Typically Luke Poem 4 - First Day At School

It’s Luke's first day at school today I wonder how he’s getting on I hope he is behaving himself I hope the crayons haven’t all gone Because Luke is partial to crayons He seems to just love wax He sees a pack of crayons As some exotic snacks I wonder if he will make a friend I hope he’s not a bully No, Luke is far too nice for that So I guess I shouldn’t worry He looked really cute in his uniform Smart jumper, trousers and sandals But he will be home for tea real soon So I'm off to hide the candles.

A Trite and Whimsical Rhyme

Will you whisk me
far away
from the only
life I've known?

Can we step
into the froth
and set sail
to a distant home?

Will we travel
light as gypsies
dancing jigs
to exotic tunes?

Can you teach
me foreign tongues
as the dawn breaks
into noon?

Will you love me
so completely
no other girl could
turn your head?

Can you promise
me fidelity
upon our
marriage bed?

Will you be my knight
and champion
and guard my heart
so true?

Can you love me
to eternity
if I say yes
to you?

***I beg forgiveness from everyone who reads this, I have nothing to say for myself
except it was kinda fun to write!
