Naked Souls

Naked souls...
Find in each other a kindred spirit
That speaks divinely, without words.
Auras coalesce in euphoric passions
Warming hearts and bodies
That rise to ethereal heights.
Sentient beings aware of the gift
Love employs to infinite degrees,
Valuing the depths of harmonic harmony.
Let sunrise penetrate its heavenly hues
In veneration of nature connecting
With the psyche, intuitive of karmic
Laws in recompense of past regrets.
Unveil the opaque shrouds that keep
Truth occult by delivering the naked soul.

A Knee-Jerk Reaction

An outpouring of happiness, love surges up from the heart and splashes against the soul; an emotion exclusive to humans. More than a ubiquitous word, love is an overwhelming desire, that burns in your heart and merges with your soul; defying logic and reason. The heart entertains a multitude of inexplicable feelings, beyond all hopes and expectations; love is both ethereal and physical. A heart filled with love forgives what a prideful heart will not; for love's a knee-jerk reaction, that requires no thought. Love can bring excruciating pain; or a euphoric rush; either way, it will not be ignored; nor ever lead you astray.

Evil Has a Childhood

toss anger, he said
into the bin of waste
waste not mankind’s love
with abuse and bite
the bullet skies
high the eagle flies
why not the steeple
less with feathers flocked
why not the pews on
threadbare knees
that knock and palms
close touch of closed
and ethereal eyes, in shock
of amazing blue, far above
the whizzing bell of shots
some fell, some rise
both have a knell and sigh
anger flung like monkey dung
lay upon the sheetrock roof
its lies are born and cradled
evil has a childhood, is able
to wean and crawl, to fall
toss anger, he spoke
to the deaf and blind
they never woke nor wised
up. six feet downer done
swept into the bin of waste
a godforsaken life

Ethereal Lanterns

The sparkling spirit of your love,
merges with mine,
dwelling in passages of time, as
my heart sings symphonies of
ethereal lanterns,
beaming upon golden poppies,
while drifting across haloes of
glittering stardust.

Our divine souls flutter full circle,
when light meets dark;
a sacred union amidst
cherry blossom petals,
swirling in a helix of
devoted scintillation,
towards the sanctuary of
our blooming dedication.

This faith in you
is my heavenly glow,
a paradise of hopes and dreams,
swaying to your deific verve—
the gilded moon my spotlight, as
celestial lullabies serenade
this blissful twilight,
sheltered in your cherubic love.

Let There Be Light

When God said, "Let there be light," Nature obliged, with the Sun. And in the farthest fringes of deep space; galaxies spun. Ethereal rays of light; imbue magic to the day. And color cottony clouds; when Dawn chases Night away. The Sun's coronal aura; harbors hope's eternal spark. And illuminates the sky; shooting sunbeams in the dark. Darkness is forged from shadows; where nothing's quite what it seems. And yesterday's promises; where scribbled on dying dreams. You are a creature of light; that's why you love it so much. And when Sol caresses you; your heart revels in His touch.

The Sun

An ethereal warmth, I once attain
A grasp of peace to grace the rain
With every drop, a fervent bliss,
A smile, a godsend from your lips

I shall meet you there,
In the poet's dream
In an evergreen forest
By a laughing stream
Remembering every life we lived,
Admitting every grief we grieved
Each vision beaming, melting true,
To the weeping sky, bursting blue
I will not hold you to just a thought
To a frivolous muse illusion begot

I will hold you in my love, real as can be
I will wake to you, the sun, rested and free

-To Jack Ellison, my much needed sunshine
Thank you for inspiring me!

She Sits Alone

His interest awakens,
as he laid eyes on a young maiden
sitting there alone.

How lovely she is, graceful
and beautiful.

Her auburn hair done up in a thick braid,
crowning her head with small stray
tendrils, curling about her fair heart shape ethereal face,
above a long neck, and delicate shoulders it graced.

For a brief moment, his gaze
locked with her hazel gold eyes, amazed
and in thoughts of sweet illusion of having her near.
Wanting to kiss her long and sweetly, whisper
you are mine forever in her ear.

Brokenhearted Orbits

The crescent moon has hid from me its glow
And stars have lost their twinkle in the sky
My broken heart floats in this celestial throe
As the goddess Venus flickers with a sigh

The heavens tell me love is lost
As I orbit a galaxy of broken hearts
The price of love comes with a heavy cost
For when it's lost I fall apart

A distant galaxy where love can find a chance
Beckons to me in this ethereal night
It pulls me in with a gravity of romance
And leads me closer to love's light

But as the crescent moon comes into view
It reminds me how much I miss you
                          -~-

True Love

The sky looks blue and alluring
The lovers look tired but enduring
Clinging to love which has waned and disappearing
As memories of yesterday kept on interfering

Love looked so real and true
Filled every night with warmth untrue
Made them believe in peaceful bliss
Which did not go beyond the deceitful kiss

Human love so weak and ephemeral
Comes with intensity so ethereal
But crumbles as fast under a weak foundation
Cause it has a beginning and an end

God's love is ever enduring
Neither beginning nor ending
Love so pure and caring
Demonstrated on the cross in a manner so glaring.

I Love Spring

I love the ethereal feel of Spring as Her energy recharges my heart. And nourishes Nature's many offspring, sending snowdrops off to an early start. I love the warm, caressing touch of Spring, massaging my skin on a sunny day. Listening to the robin redbreast sing; Winter's doldrums silently slip away. I love the sweet, sensual scent of Spring, when flowers first magically appear. And the fresh feeling gentle breezes bring; assuring me Spring is finally here. I love the subtle arrival of Spring; a reprieve from Winter's inclement sting.

Amazing Views

Beyond the golden horizon she dwells
lightening up more than just a dream
shadows teasingly move
along with the mountains
playing out tantalizing possibilities
where into my vision she'll lie

Darkness descends with
submissive amends
love just a heartbeat away
passions entwined

Perchance To Dream

Welcome to my abode, my love
Be it at height of sunlight
Or in the darkest night.

If the need comes into my dreams,
Or create for me hallucinations,
Virtual creations of your beautiful self.
However you decide, just come,
All I need is your presence
Ethereal or physical as you like.

See the eventide is shrouded in mist
As swallows search their cosy nests.
Frost claws into the earth
Hell-bent on destruction,
You have such a haven here
That's warm and loving and full of care.

I wait, will you come closer to me?
I tire, do I feel your fingers in my hair?
I sleep, is that your kiss on my warm lips?
I wake, I know 'twas all but a dream.

No Shame Nor Blame

Love is a deep desire, a longing ache, and a passion, oft tethered to a wish. And like a decadent chocolate cake, so delicious you want to lick the dish. Love is a bond that never gets broken, outflanking logic; it assumes control. And stronger than any promise spoken, born in the heart, it migrates to the soul. Love is a highly addictive feeling; once you have felt it, nothing else will do. And that feeling can leave your heart reeling; when you realize its effects on you. Love's candle burns an ethereal flame; within its light, there is no shame or blame.

What Is Love

Love's the alpha and omega; both the beginning and the end. An intangible, ethereal spark that melds hearts together, till two becomes one; inseparable and eternal. An indestructible bond, formed from fragile feelings; love gets spun into a rope, that can support the weight of two.

Heartache In Zanila Rhyme

Heartache is what follows me about
looking for the love we’d found
I loved you once, but now I hate you
silence left, no ethereal sound

Heartache is the pain you left me I
need to run from this dark place
But now I hate you, I loved you once
let me be free to feel life’s caress

Heartache is the lines on my etched face
shows the world internal pain
I loved you once, but now I hate you
until I am in your arms again

Heartache eases have found a new friend
someone to share in life’s game
But now I hate you I loved you once
my true love you will always remain

Our Soul Weeps

In the ethereal domain
Ascended masters we revere are seen
Thus soul’s ascension seems endless
Is the clear knowing from this that we glean

We are as yet in a primitive stage
Myriad fears and desires still bemuse
Awareness stuporous, we flounder in darkness
Falling prey every time, to ego’s ruse

Of what use are scriptures, if we heed them not
All that’s asked of us is we learn to love
The path too has been clearly mapped out
Let head meld with heart, acting hand in glove

We are ignorant, knowing not who we are
We’re fearful to let go of lower mind
Tragic it is, we know not we’re living light
To glory of our soul, we remain blind

Natural Reflections

By a pool of stillness
so silently I sat,
Its water unforgiving-
deep and mirror flat;
A mood of introspection
flooded memories,long unseen,
A future planned together
an ethereal what might have been.

Love Untainted

You are my morning dawn
…My evening dusk
Features of essence ever changing

Your eyes the flame of desire
…A calm cool wind
The light of the sun and blushing moon

You’re my crossing into fantasy
…The voice of reality
That breath of life I deeply inhale

Your softly mordant smile
 …A presence realized
Flashing sparks igniting my spirit

You possess of abilities magic
…A powerful flow
Feeding the passion of my soul

You only need lay your embering touch
…Ethereal fingers caress
Melting my fear I lay at your feet

You’re silent shadowed departure
…Icing the walls to a shimmer
From the light I bear inside for you

Interminable love…

Depth of Love

Light travels at a constant speed

though bent, attracted and absorbed –

is love so different from its beaming
physical counterpart, dear wave
that truly recalls a soul's worth of gleam

the only ethereal that lingers
within and beyond~sensing even greater
paths of flight yet to be sourced unimaginable

for what is truly remembered of a valued
life

outside the breath of a candle
never extinguished for sacredly
carried

like the sentiment of a stone
at a grave-site

where two often lie

when the one departed....

Make Room For Hope

In my heart, I make room for hope, for it gives me the strength to cope. I keep it nestled next to love, gifted to me by God above. Like faith, it's tethered to my soul, where together they make me whole. Hope, love, and blind faith are unique to humanity; so to speak. They're the pillars of empathy, integrity and honesty. Principles integral to me; defining who I wish to be. As a feeling, sentient being, believing doesn't require seeing. Fueled by hope, my faith is strong, as my conscience sorts right from wrong. An ethereal emotion, love is like a healing lotion. From shattered dreams to broken hearts, love repairs all the damaged parts.

Happiness Is

Happiness is:

When your melodic voice each moment I hear

And

Your ethereal presence near me I sense

Happiness is:

When the delicacies of your lips I constantly taste

And

The exquisite aroma of your soul’s breath I scent

Happiness is:

When into your blazing eyes, I let myself disappear,

And

Your stunning figure continuously before me I see

But most of all, Happiness is:

When you, my precious dream, with a whisper, declare that

Forever, you will keep loving me!

SILENCE

As love was immense....
......silence......
as the armor was to struggle
....ethereal silence....
as knowing was profound
...a finger caressed the ellipse in silence...
as neurons
foretold the third phrase
...anticipated silence...
better listen
to inhabitants of silence
to the zoom of cosmic atoms
the uuhh of ear tension
the song of birds
the howling wind
and the images of fantasy and dreams
talking silently
as immense love......
......silence......

Into the Last

As we slide into the abyss
Of time and of timelessness
We cling to hope, to eternity

As we pass through this hemisphere
Of being and of not being here
We grope the light, the eternal day

As we cling to that last gasping breath
Of body’s life and fleshly death
We touch the air, the ethereal

As we while our time away
Of time fleeting, that will not stay,
We cling to hope, to eternity
We cling to love, that sets us free
