The Terrace

Huge red-orange sun slowly recede,
Upon the sky seem to bleed;
Whispers of night, calling home,
Such sunset days rarely spent alone.

Look ahead to starry skies;
Not time for early goodbyes.
Without love cannot the heart grow-
A new day comes beyond the rainbow!

Warm Paris breeeze gently blow-
Roses atop the bureau;
Music with a certain ease;
Smooth jazz, if you please.

In darkness of shadows, waits he!
The night is young-for me!
Stars appear, quiet avenue.
Farewell dawn skies of baby blue.

When from misty dreams awakes,
When tomorrow sunrise overtakes,
Come listen music play,
On gold terrace of the sunny day!

Love You All Over

I love the Earth

The plants and trees

The Lovely birds

All the Rivers and Seas

I love the Sky

By the beach on a Starry Night

When a Big MOON is Rising

I love to Feel

Happy and FREE

Good friends Around

Everyone's Important to Me

I love to See

The Smile of a Child at Play

In the Park on a Sunny Day

I Love to Be

Close to You

Breathe in your ESSENCE

IMAGINE what I would do

I Can't Resist

When SUN gives a little KISS

I want to "LOVE YOU ALL OVER"

A Pied Piper For Me

His line and verse flow like honey
Lovely, smooth, bright and sunny
A pied piper for me

He speaks of love in phrases pure
His words take wing, on airborne tour
Soaring high and free

Yet he himself is down to earth
Epitome of cheer and mirth
A humble soul is he

Always has an encouraging word
'Good friend' the honor on him conferred
The one-and-only Chris Green

Dark Rainbow

A dark rainbow rules my life.
When will it ever be sunny and bright?
There is no cool breeze on this hot day.
The dark rainbow comes out to play.
Where is the ruler of peace and love?
Who is hiding the colorful rainbow of above?
The ruler of the dark rainbow is myself, you see.
The only one to take that away, is me.

Hera

Hera precious, gorgeous queen of splendor,
of mighty Ares,and Enyo,the mother,
to thee I write my gratitude and thanks
for all thy blessings showered upon my head.
Thine is the pomegranate and the diadem,
with which you rule all worlds and human lands,
with magnanimous mercy and charity.
of rainbow colors dressed divine thou art,
the sunny smiling matron of the arts,
Thou, queen, who favorest the pure of heart.

God's Gifts

Rainbow days and starry nights,
Snow-capped mountains and eagles' flight.
Crashing waves from storm-tossed seas,
Refreshing rain and a gentle breeze.

Delicate flowers and trees so tall,
Red, orange and yellow leaves of fall.
Rolling thunder and lightning bright,
Sunny skies that bring delight.

Cotton puff clouds on display,
A clear blue lake where fish can play.
The chirping of birds and crickets song,
Invites all creatures to sing along.

In all these things God can be found,
Indeed, His gifts are all around.
Open your eyes and be amazed,
As God reveals His love each day.

Marble In Columns On Green

On a slope graced with green
White marble stands in proud salute

For beneath these engraved pillars of memory
Lie the resting places of heroes

A solitary green fir looks down
As if sheltering the lost and the taken

So many names, from all walks of life
A father, brother a girlfriend or wife

On a sunny day, they glow radiant like their lives
On a dull day, they stand out against the greys

For the living, life goes on
Tomorrow is another day

The Wonder of Jesus

Tell me why oh why

Why birds do fly

Why clouds drift by so slowly

How in sunny skies

Flowers spring to life

The earth and sky our glory

Pray tell someone so right

Would bloom to blow away

Why memories dance the waltz of love and hate

What tomorrow will be

May sadden me

Why do I feel love

when I hear his name~ "I'm Born Again"

All Through Tuscany

The afternoon outlined. The sunny strokes
of a samurai blade on her body
revealing things the eyes feign see.
Tempted, wounded, the virgin parchment floats
between her skin and satin cloak.
Artist; afternoon, craving company
draws her inside-out so innocently,
on purpose leaves the yolk indwelling.

The painter in the corner moans,
he jealous of the afternoons artly
sensual oration.
Improving skin, bare olive tones
of subtle pastel, the moment partly lost
to the constellations.

Just a Day At the Beach

From the tips, of her white foam caps
To the bottom of her swells
The depth of our Love for her
Only the Ocean can retell
As we sat on pristine beaches
Kissed by waves upon our feet
Calling Us to join in with her
On this nautical Retreat

With her coolness, She caressed us
On that hot and sunny day
There, in the depths of her bosom
She allowed us both to play
And when the sun began to set
On her wrinkled, deep blue skin
We both marveled at Her beauty
Then swore, to return, again

Tenderness

Rushes to the window with every pitter-patter but it is only the rain crashing into me trying to wash away my pain reminding of sunny days where the pitter-patter was the beating of my heart where love was never sought but happily was found my heart breathes feeling once more your tenderness pitter-patters run across the oaken hardwood floors and I see in her your smile your love your heart The rain and my tears fall yet I know most go a lifetime without true love but no not me my heart goes pitter-patter one last time butterflies float away into my soul and I remember I loved you

Widowed Bride

Upon this dark and sunny day,
Kneeling by your flowery display
My teardrops fall like dripping dew,
Remembering my time with you.
Cold hard stone is all that is left
To warm my heart that’s lost, bereft.
Today our life had just begun,
When in a moment, it was done.
I lay, in sorrow, by your side,
Forever yours, your mournful bride.

Willow Tree

High upon that willow tree
That's where I wanna be

We just go together like that
Just you and me

Way up in that willow tree
I met you on that sunny day
When the clouds were far far away

I love it when you touch me that way
How you run your fingers through my hair

Love is so crazy good with you
And I really want to keep it that way

Beauty, Before Me

"Stay with me through the darkness
until we find another sunny day."

Dodge through the rain drops falling fast
jump puddles not worrying about getting wet
take my hand and my heart, come hold me close
embrace my imperfections and this life we have chose

Slip-slide down this path of resistance with me
being my rock when tiny pebbles roll free
help find my sun hiding when all seems lost
don't let me go under without one last gasp

Of the beauty, before me, that surrounds
cherished in precious seas of love found
golden flowers sway gentle in the breeze
carrying off splendor for us to forever see

Calgon Poems

What does this mean?
Could it be from within
your soul relaxin
as you read the line
that flow from my pen?

Oh to have the gift
to give all comfort
and joy as I write
I am a calgon poet.

Make your minds drift so far away
from all the worries of your day
as you read about a sunny day
or love to be someday.

To give your heart peace
as you read the poems of love
and comfort in God's peace.
I let my light for life
shine like a beacon to see
in the sea of life.

Aging Valentines

Won't you be my Valentine
Even though we're past our prime?
Now our kids are up and running,
we could escape to somewhere sunny.

We've been neighbours now for years,
let's bring each other some cheer.
You lost your love, I lost mine.
Won't you be my Valentine?

Nights are lonely don't you think?
Instead we could be at the brink
of something new and exciting.
Isn't that thought inviting?

Life's for living I always say.
When the sun shines, make hay.
We could be so good together.
Please won't you tell me whether

you seek comfort just like me.
The kettle's on, I'll make tea.
I'll be yours if you'll be mine.
Won't you be my Valentine?

The Great Hug

Everybody needs

A little love and care

A friendly hello, how are you dear

A little smile

Can go for millions of miles

To make rainbows out of stormy skies

You don't have to be

Extravagant

A little courtesy is sufficient

But what I have to say I can't hold back

I really mean it

And that's a fact

I want to hug you, in the morning

Before it's breakfast time

I believe my arms were made for hugging you

And yours were meant for mine

I want to hug you, in the afternoon

A sunny evening delight

I want to snuggle really close when stars are out

And hug you under moonlight

Ten Lines, Five Words

TEN LINES - FIVE WORDS

Your smile is so bright
It lights up my night

The radiance of your face
Causes my heart to race

Your kisses are like honey
They make my life sunny

You're one of a kind
You make my life shine

God made you so divine
And I'm glad you're mine

I Love Spring

I love the ethereal feel of Spring as Her energy recharges my heart. And nourishes Nature's many offspring, sending snowdrops off to an early start. I love the warm, caressing touch of Spring, massaging my skin on a sunny day. Listening to the robin redbreast sing, Winter's doldrums silently slip away. I love the sweet, sensual scent of Spring, when flowers first magically appear. And the fresh feeling gentle breezes bring, assuring me Spring is finally here. I love the subtle arrival of Spring, a reprieve from Winter's inclement sting.

Blue Eyes

Blue eyes that stand before me,
Seeing all that has come to be.
Never did those blue eyes turn away,
Even in the troubles that may.
They did not turn in any way,
More beautiful than the sunny days of may,
If there was any doubt in them, i could not say.
Always love they did send,
I couldnt have asked for a better friend
But i didnt know you loved me until the end.

Fly My Way:

For if my love did come to stay, In shadows across an empty sky, I would then light up the way, So she could land nearby. Have faith must I in my wishing well, And flood it with coins every sunny day, And hope shall I in a magical spell, Upon shores one day we both shall lay. An ocean then may bring us in, As seagulls fly above our rest, We'll find our peace, we shall begin, And watch the sunset in the west. /|\
