- Love At First Sight -

As the golden threads of silver, a mother protects her child
The path they will follow together, through life they leave deep footprints
The love that is shared will always shine its rays, nothing to fear

Beauty, yes

Beauty, yes I have striven to be you, before hibiscus fades
Before the stars sprinkle night that covers ocean sunset
After the icicles thawed and swans inhabit the blue lagoon

We cannot know the perfect thing in our finite dust
The lesser never comprehend the object of lust
Beyond us bright, yet upon imaginations trust

Beauty, what are you? From what strange world you come? Tell me
O truth to know, unknownYou who make me love and not see
And yet know enough to pursue walking a thin sea

Yet still I believe that absolute beauty does exist
And I look for it to come out of stars or morning mist
Or out of bright imagination's tightly clenched fist

Every flower I love ever like a sunset fades
Every dream of old I cherish, like a leaf is marked for death
And sometimes at nights I only see one half the moon

Ruby

My heart shaped ruby wishes to be loved and excepted,
Shining brightly for a single affection by one adored man,
Noticed and caressed has given the luster gleaming joy.

Coo, Coo, Coo

Early in the morning just beyond daybreak, the cooing of doves
Coo, coo, coo always in threes, conveying to its mate of his love
Soon sun will be higher, proof of love will begin with the feedings

Lapping waves, boat gently rocks, lone seagull screams from overhead.

Writing in sand and stone

Writing "I love you" in the sand suggests that love is meant to fade;
That it can be washed away by life's periodic tides.
I suggest we write our love in stone, always carving it deeper.

Where Has Love Gone : Visual 7

hand in hand, where clustered flowers gently swayed in splendid hues,

    they strolled along the lake towards their favourite wooden bench;

now, empty, it waits in vain for their return; where has love gone?

- And Kiss Me -

A kiss lights a spark of passionate fire, a flirt with warm lips

If the snow is white.the rainbow brightness of the smiling sun in the rain

Soft as dew, three words so easily : "I love you".I believe..

Temple Bells

Bells ring out across the valley from the temple on the hill
Disturbing sleeping lovers cosy in one another’s arms
They smile and go back to sleep to dream of their wedding day

Summer Love sijo

I kiss my summer love goodbye - as winter’s surely here:
The autumn brought our falling out and cooled the lusty heat
And now we stand as chilly as the ice that freezes both our hearts.

Silent Hope

silently...the golden sun rises upon the fevered fields
crying tears of pain...she plucks a dandelion of a lost love

Summer Love
Shores draped in white sand linens; beaches beckon, "Lovers come lay."
Salt perfume, ocean music, moonlit waters their embeance.
Treasuring star framed reflections, waves of passion...Summer love.

Tears Waiting

Waiting, as pure and clear as drops from the high mountain peaks
Trembling now on your lashes as we wait for your heart to break
Tears to soften the pain, and cleanse the troubled soul of the lonely

HOT SUMMER LOVE

Clear eyes stargaze on sun-kissed days ~ Barley autumn, bosoms ablaze. Warm breeze brush bathing heavens, rainbow hues fusing chase and tease Whispers ~ touch spirit lips, rising heat cocoons blushing nymph. Kites sky flight tickling blue clouds, surfing glides breathtaking stunts. Nonstop beats, hormones flush, spiraling awesome thrilling release! Old boy, ebbing energy, please bounce back accompany me.. Birds playing sweet symphonic tune, cunning beau shows sultry actions. Running torrid wild lustful tokens caress peaks fast and vast Tonic willpower, how will I have golden sunbeams hopes? Heart, listen, you fire in rush ~ don't you hurry, stay low and calm. As torments waves each passing year, eases control for you and me. Oh, if I took your lead, heart, I would hate many men now.

Power of your kiss

THE KISS

While words are lost in the silence of our emotions,
One it seems also oblivious of worldly dilemmas,
The power of your affections in this your wondrous kiss.

BATTLE OF THE SOMME
1916

When unable to touch in this a far off distant land,
Confronting a faceless enemy, whom I’m sure longs as I do,
Lives for the day when passions are released within a kiss.

A Number's Game

My tongue is stuck out in concentration, filling out this Sudoku.
Having faith in my deduction skills, the pen was my weapon of choice.
The only numbers I can't figure out is on the note she gave me - now that's scary!

NOTE: Inspired by Rick's Sudoku comment on my poem Sedoka 3.

Summer Love

Give us a multicoloured dawn when all the world is still asleep

Enthralled we search for lips with earnest greed in passionate embrace

Before the sun arises and our love like dew dissolves.

Silence, when day has gone to rest and moonlit sky takes centre stage.

Whisper; while in my arms I hold you tight within the summer night.

Love me, as gentle fingers pluck the vibrant strings to my heart.
