Natures Gift

It's how the stars are lit at night
and how the dew drops glisten
How evening shadows mock the light
and it's how the silence listens

From the gentle sway of trees
     that bid such fond adieu
     Songs in a summer breeze
a voice so clear, so true

     The glory of such symmetry
so more than fills the eye
To the beauty of such poetry
     this hopeful heart draws nigh

In natural peace all love is born
To live and thrive each blessed morn

Pardon From The Storm

Take my heart and carry me to where all dreams are born. Into loves arms, oh such a place that's always safe and warm. Away from such deceitful lairs where blackened virtues swarm. into a light where peace must shine and grants us pardon from a storm. High above the mountain tops or low as low can be. Makes no difference where we are a wondrous lyric calls to me. Singing of your splendor like a miracle performed. I'll stay with you to find the port that grants us pardon from a storm. Your Child's Eyes

The innocence lost so long ago
The undying faith we used to know
The gentle rain of a summer's skies
You can find it all in your child's eyes.

The world was right one time it seems
And we could reach beyond our dreams
To meet a challenge of any size
That fire still burns in your child's eyes.

In a world of anger and miscontent
And the frustrations of a life misspent
And you wait in fear as the storms arise
You can still find peace in your child's eyes.

Take the time for all those things
Hear his words: feel the joy he brings
There is no hate; there are no lies
There is only love in your child's eyes.

The Sum of a Life

This life we're living
Is so unforgiving
Reminding us every day
Of games that we played
Choices we made
Dreams that faded away
Paths that were crossed
Loved ones we've lost
Still promising a brighter tomorrow
When that promise is broken
Our wounds rip back open
Leaving hope to drown in deep sorrow

From our very first breath
We're stalked by death
We live our lives in fear
Knowing well it won't last
So we live loose and fast
Look up and the days have become years
We add peace, subtract strife
Find the sum of a life
Discover we've love left for giving
Love that goes wasted
On the bitterness tasted
In a life so unforgiving

Sweet Mysteries

Divinity lives beyond description Alone, a weary heart cries from its pain Desire eager for its conscription Might truth and love turn this way again? Sweet mysteries, this life, in dreams of thee Yield fantasy's passion I dare to share Walk from this muse, I pray to live in me Conceding this, my love, unto your care On lifeless shadows, cast your glowing light Bring a blessed presence to this peace I seek Rest too this solemn shade, this endless night With angelic verse, but you could only speak For seeking dreams to dream from up above I cast my will and fate to seek your love 09/19/2018 Beautiful Mystery Contest Sponsored by John Hamilton Fourth Place

My Allegiance I Vow

To my terra of roots
my allegiance I vow
I wallow in your fruits
and to your flag I bow.

Dream not till wake of dawn
beaming sun light I wait
burst of glee of no bourn
the feels of the soul, sate.

Awe chills into my spine
as your Hymn in pride sung
for Home in peace I pine
and love never be swung.

How could my pen, you turn
in a fine rhyming word
as my quill longs to learn
inking with grace and verve.

Lonely Dreams

I never knew following dreams could be this lonely,
But up on the hill, looking back, thank God I'm not the old me.
If the tears will fall, let them be;
I believe this is God's plan, follow your dreams.

Behind Those Beautiful Eyes

Behind those beautiful eyes,
So much anger,so much mistrust,
Always expecting the worst,
Always conversing about the bad
things life has to offer,

Behind those beautiful eyes,
So much hurt,so much pain,
Bottled up bad experiences overflowing,
Crying to be unleashed,to be released,

Behind those beautiful eyes,
High expectation,countless plans,
Many things to still achieve,
So many things you still haven't done,

Behind those beautiful eyes,
Is a body,searching for comfort,
A mind,searching for peace,
And a heart searching for true love,

All behind those beautiful eyes.....

From the deepest caves one name echoed

Smiling hotly you're the flame captured underneath
burning with a sunrise golden gleam frosted

Sparkling within dewdrops crystals crash
over oceans waves rise and fall to grace

At your feet adoring they kiss salt saluting promise
kneeling upon the sand footprints hold ground held

Those inside one thousand memories wrapped forever
perfect jewel you are the pearl of a deep sea always crowned

Lustre of one rainbow washed clean cut perfect flower
white lily from the heart of love you brought peace

Myriads of Umbrellas

Myriads of umbrellas like I’ve never seen floating upward brilliant red, yellow, pink and green. Many happy thoughts must be in the springtime breeze, or bright hope could not ascend high above the trees! Opened up, hope shelters us from the rains of gloom. Losing sight of happiness would be mankind’s doom. Peace and love must guide our thoughts so we might see rise myriads of umbrellas through all earth’s blue skies! with your delicate little hand with your long slender fingers you touched my lips my heart was beating like a baby bird flying for the first time the two of us were sharing less than one person's space as our lips met the planet went silent the hurricane of day to day life calmed down to a soothing breeze the whole world froze accommodating this our private moment now I know they weren't banished Adam and Eve the garden with its explosive sense of peace blooms on the other side of this kiss Mar. 1 2016 armand

Dreams Hued in Cherry Blossoms

She walks underneath the pink sunshade trees dressed in flowing antique white bridal gown. Un-dissuaded heart, to laugh, love, a peace drawn to fragments of leaves rustling around. The start of spring; radiant glow of pink. A fountain of cherry blossom petals trace down to the ground dressing the green. A wink of amorous scene of warmth of her grace. Enthralled by sensation of sweet scent tease, gold sunshine rays' columns stand and solemn. Poetic strokes of emotions to please, a life draped in dreams hued in cherry blossoms. A blank canvas rich in true color spun in glaze memories not to be undone.

Supreme Being

When you came to me the earth revolved then stood still
dressed jewel of purest sunlight circled in gold mere reflections

Through the oceans wings sailing inside waves embrace
we rise and fall drawing from a breathless air filled with Peace

Caught up within the sparkle lustre that sings from an echo returning
twinkling stars light warmly together ally an alliance between souls

Captured brightly the spirit of eternal beauty brings, under glowing beams
when we act together as one temple forever crowns the heart to Love

It's Quiet Now

It is quiet now
-the sun moves up the ridge

Honey crisp scent of freedom
 -hovers and engulfs the air

Pangs of pleasure peal
 -the primrose bows her head

Yellow paints the morning
 -the fields are all aglow

A Soldiers Song

I taste an emptiness of love and weep from pain, in loss befall. Hope flees in fields of light above when time casts me its eternal pall. As darkness dims the flame of life with words of love left never said, Could one escape this misty strife? Does peace live only with the dead? I marched to anthems meant for kings and bled for cause, as told I must. What voices now with courage ring, as I lie face down in the dust? While glory waits as cities burn, who'll chant for me if I return? 12/31/2018

Stand Guard True Angel

As we worship, bring the silence in gracious peace ring down the day. Stay the light that's stained with violence, deliver calm, pass ill storms away. Send to us your guileless servant, pure of faith and stainless heart. Confer to him a truce so verdant with joyous love and hope impart. Stand guard against faults that rage and spare less fortune from the cold. Lift these hearts, fallen, fled with age and never loose us from your hold. Share with us your saving Grace with harmony that all will embrace. 08/06/2018 Rhyming Poem On Angels Contest Sponsored by Emile Pinet

- Secret -

With sparkling stars of gold
Make a wish, maybe it will change your destiny
The universe is enormously, find your own shiny amulet
Take a deep breath,
and never forget how blessed you are
Everything has a meaning
The stars shine for the whole world
You and me ~ rich and poor
In war and peace ~ with love and grace
Did you know ~ ... an adorable little secret;
The moon kiss each star goodnight

Unique is the discipline of love
Understanding God's law
Faith holds supreme commander

Sometimes we have to fight
our way through a concrete jungle
stone cold dreams nightmare evaluates

Rocking the cradle unworthy desires
no peace or rest for the wicked deeds
in order to find the answers to hopes prayer

Truth pointing us directions
within our code of moral conduct
which supports us in our voyage

In the walk of life chaos grips hearts consumed with hate
Without faith our souls identity will become dust
Needing hugs from heaven to survive

A Christmas Snow

I wish to see the beauty of a Christmas snow and hear the songs about a holy birth. Along the streets where lights are strung aglow, I wish to see the beauty of the Christmas snow. But most of all, I wish for love to grow in every heart till there is peace on earth. I wish to see the beauty of a Christmas snow and hear the songs about a holy birth.

- A Love So Great -

May the sun always shine in your heart - melt away winter's ice
Always look for beautiful colors - even if you never find the rainbow

Nobody wants to experience the towering and storm high waves
Adversity makes us strong - like sailing on the sea in storm

Open up your heart - take a deep breath
Dreams you will find among the stars - where peace prevails

Let your thoughts dance between the clouds - without a worry in mind
Bring your paint brush - paint the world in stunning colors

Our world is so endlessly large
A human so little, a love so great

Beautiful

Lusting the passions of a secret desire
Unwinding the mystery of my needs
Funerals are for the future
Internment I ask be deferred
Timeless is my youth
Useless is my request
At seeking eternity or at least eternal rest
End of times may seem long away
Beauty we know fades, it will happen some day

So I dream of youthful moments
Isle graveyards were far away

Holy wars and loveless scores
That a soldier must endure
A desire for peace escapes this generation and more
External forces and internal woes
Death dances at my door

Dedicated to Sara Bernhardt, who slept in her coffin amongst all her love letters.

The cutter

She went to sleep
closing her eyes
beginning to dream
of broken butterflies
tearing her lovely monarch wings
on faithless love that angels sings...

She finds shiny metal in kitchen sink
in an evening absent light
she finds peace in cuts of pink
watching crimson blood flow feels so right..

Starlight shines upon her tears
I whisper darling, you cannot bleed
all of your suicidal fears
at night when you begin to cry
I'll sing you a lover's lullaby..

My love do not wish that you were dead
dreaming of an absent pulse
laying on silken sheets bleeding red
I will offer love so do not bleed
give me your knife I am all you need...

The Best Mistake

You made the mistake and now,
your afraid to face this day.

Your thoughts are racing through
and through.

You wonder if your family looks at
you as a disgrace, but you'er mother
takes you and reasures, your very
much loved in grace.

Even though your much to young
for this breathing little thing this
has become.

You couldn't just throw it out
like it was a peice of trash.

So you grow up and take the
path that led you to your best
mistake for years to come.
