It Is Springtime In Heaven

It is now springtime in heaven Sky is so blue...sun shining so bright Beautiful flowers are everywhere Angels are dancing...as the harps play Here on earth...we scamper around Sky is so blue...sun shining so bright Beautiful flowers are everywhere We are missing the angels in heaven Angels are dancing...as the harps play They await the day...as we do also As once again we will all be together Our mothers and us...in heaven above Dedicated to: Our Mothers in Heaven and her children who will be missing her this weekend on Mother's Day To all of you who still have your mother here on earth with you make sure she knows how much you love her.

Sadly Musing Life and Love

I sit alone as evening claims the day,
with common crow my only confidant.
I watch the sun sink slowly in the bay
while musing life and love so nonchalant.

As night descends upon my humble soul,
my furtive feelings ponder kinship lost.
I’m missing precious love that makes me whole;
my dearest darling gone at such a cost.

And woe I say, why did she go away,
and leave my heavy heart in agony;
behind, my shallow spirit here to stay;
she cast our love away so damnably.

Alas, I rue thee, my ascetic life,
and long to lance my heart with wretched knife.

Lonesome Love

For where is the love that I seek, My soul searches deeper still… Hearts hibernating in mystique, I surrender to its wavering will… Looking up to sapphire skies, May it rain pearls of passion… Tears that fall from elusive eyes, Are saved as reminiscent ration… May I find your love in galaxies gold, Your sculptural smile behind the veil… Marooned to your mesmerizing mold Lost at sea to your sequestered sail… Can lonesome love eternally exist, Where kept kisses are forever missed. I HAVE SHED SO MANY TEARS

Reaching for your hand
but knowing you have gone
I hear the birds begin to sing
their early morning song
Yearning for to stroke again
your shiny chemo head
but now your empty pillow
beside me lies instead
As I awake this morning
alone inside my bed
my heart is truly breaking
for so many lonely years
and that is why this morning
I have shed so many tears...

Then I Wake

Skin like the morning, fresh with shimmering dew, Cheeks flushed with ecstasy’s playful hue, Under your soft gaze I quake, Sweetly poised to break, And then I Wake. There I lie, Joy fading to ache, Tears tracing the wish I make, Praying that the dawn might conjure you - Skin like the morning, fresh with shimmering dew.

Autumn's desires

Autumn's desires

Your amber-umber eyes, penetrate me
as saffron sun sets on faces, ashen
Your suspicious mind raves with jealousy
as pumpkin winds chill our summers passion
your love transitions to winter's fashion.

Fire and ice keep flowing through your bold veins
Wild imaginations portend cold rains.

I dream of your ruby-red crimson lips
my mind won't rest until you have returned
the touches from your ginger fingertips
we can rebuild the bridges that have burned,
then, we will laugh at all the lessons learned

I think of your flowing cinnamon hair
mem'ries of our home, and you being there.

The Missing

She looks around the room with worried eyes. So many things are missing. What became of all her pretty clothes? With great surprise she notices her dresser’s not the same. The fancy music box that held her pearls is missing too from where it used to sit beside the picture of her precious girls there on the dresser. What became of it? She hears her husband walking toward the room and cries out as she sees him on the stair. He lies down on their bed. She feels his gloom, and then she knows. . . . He cannot see her there! She lingers, helpless, knowing she must go, yet hears him sob, “My love, I miss you so.” Written for Susan Burch's "Missing" Poetry Contest

Night sky

Behold, a crack in the sky...
Its a star ! And then it multiplies...
A thousand million
 silver twinkling confetti...
Galactical milk in celestial ballet
Your white bedazzle takes the breath away
Soapsudded moon and underwater candellabra
In an ocean of quiet delivery
Oozes a rhapsody, nay a symphony!
Gliding on golden orbital slide
A bridal comet gown on fluted notes
MAGNIFICAT! MAGNIFICAT! MAGNIFICAT!

Missing you

She was wonderful and powerful
My object of desire
Her smooth clean face so beautiful
The apple of my eye

My love she had an accident
She fell from up on high
I found her broken body there
'Twas lying on the ground

Now all I have's her memory
The songs we used to share
Oh how I miss that ipod
My heart it megahertz

Reality Check

What should I say to describe this empty feeling,
like I'm missing something I could call Home.

How would I come to deny a thought revealing,
given time and place, I'd invent my own.

A time spent in a state of agonizing pain,
A place of worship I would not forgive.

Only the mind undoes the past through vision gained,
in boundless timeless Love it all but lives.

Silenced by Anger

Silenced by anger,
I can’t believe my ears,
you told me that you loved me,
but the truth remains clear.

You lied to me, you selfish jerk,
and it is I, who must pay
for all the love and laughter,
that left me in a daze.

I can’t believe that I listened
to the words that you said.
The truth wasn’t missing,
it was dancing in my head.

You used to act like you loved me,
But I guess the angers fed.
So forgive me as I leave this place,
Selfish, cold, and dead.

'Catching Words'

Missing words that drop from the quiet sky..
Some you just can't catch and let pass by..
Others are like tasting raindrops in the night..
Or trying to kiss a snowflake before its out of sight..
Clearer days and clearer minds let more land straight..
Now its easier to feel the thoughts from love not hate..

Lost In My Lost Cinnamon Dreams

Cinnamon memories catch my soul in snares as I trace in anguish the curve of your lips in a photo stained sepia with my tears - a thousand words spoken through my fingertips; wishing you to be the breeze teasing my hair or the sun on my skin after its eclipse, let mare’s tails twine us in a heavenly kiss -- cinnamon stirs my bittersweet reminisce. In A Nude Mood Of Bittersweet Interlude

Romanticism descends an unbridled staircase stripped bare and unleashed, passion in supple nudity tiptoes down my spine, burning in its yearning, softly unveiled … tingling every naked nerve with a sudden surge of electric longing and unmasked pulses of pang and pleasure. SILVER LINING

?The day my Silver lining vanished away?

I was traumatized,
After walking through the bedroom door.

No movement, or sign,
Not one single breath left behind,
the canvas has been painted black.
Not a single image on the wall,
I took one last gasp----- of nothing,
No hint of musk in the air,
Silently, I stare, to the unknown
The positive aspect, gone,
My unseen benefit is missing,
The absent suitcase,
The only clue!
The burglar took it all,
the garbage stood alone.
This is not my home.

Chaotic, disconcerted
After walking through the bedroom door.

Indian Giver

(To give then take)

I shut my eyes for a few seconds today
Missing you, I wished you were here
Then suddenly the walls became dim
My heart murmurs your name
I swallow the tears behind my eyes
Claiming back the wish
Why would I ever let myself fall in love again?

Captured

He left
That night locking
Her away with a kiss;
Her soul captured by his spirit,
She stayed.

She waits -
For the spirit
To light her pitch-black days;
To breathe into her missing nights;
She’s still.

Hear

Behind the black olives redianted*
the moon this night
is handing over a bloomed sign.
Why are you going to bed alone
in colorful bed sheets?
Hear! In Syracusae troubadours are singing
in one love,
about that while you burn into,
you burn endlessly.
But you are falling asleep.
A domestic bird, hidden
behind curtains of brocade
and pressed her lips on a golden spider.

A homeless night in the black olives
and a sound of our Beyond.

You Shine Your Light

You shine your light in darkest night
Your beacon burning there so clear
If I had wings then I’d take flight
You shine your light in darkest night
I feel your warmth holding me tight
As in your arms you draw me near
You shine your light in darkest night
Your beacon burning there so clear

I've Scribbled This Song For You

I've Scribbled This Song For You...

I'm wasting my days,
my empty nights too,

I should have held on,
but I simply lost you,

now I stagger along,

wearing broken smiles,
in between hell and you,
there's a million miles,

yes, I should have kept,
you close to my skin,

soaking your warmth,
but you were laughing,

at my foolish grin...

now I'm all broken,
and torn apart,

but what the hell,
I was always late,
for the tolling of the bell,

and now...

now I stagger along,

wearing broken smiles,
in between hell and you,
there's a million miles,

so kiss me now like you once did,
I'm tired of being so carefully hid,

la laa laa la laa laa laa...

(repeat to fade)

A Rose For My Sadness

A Rose for my sadness
Is all I ask
Seal it with your kiss
And your magical spark.

A Rose for my sadness
Is all I need
With a glimpse of your smile
And sound of your heartbeat.

A Rose for my sadness
Is all you can give
To aglow the flame
And rekindle the love I keep

A Rose for my sadness
Will surely make me glad
It will erase all the longings
And ease the blunt pain.

A Rose for my sadness
Will bring your touch
Shower me with warmth
Missing you that much.

Living In the Past

Play for me, Long May You Run,
to shed a tear and reminisce
of open roads when life begun,
to think of those now gone and missed.

Play for me a tender song
to share with some good friends like you.
Let's laugh and cry and sing along.
I know you feel the way I do.

Faced with the choice of moving on
or falling in the past's abyss,
I'd rather meet each day's new dawn
with those dear souls I love and miss.

Long may they run, sun-kissed somehow,
though I have changed so much since then.
I wonder if they'd know me now
and warm me with their love again.

Red Light

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
lonely as ever
visible at night, useless by day?

in sync with its partner next door
for a quick kiss over a few flashes only
then arguing again and again
night in, night out.

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
not signaling a warning to keep away
but sending a call for compassion?

using the dark pauses in between
to yell the same name
over and over and over
into the emptiness of each night.

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
being your silent cry
only heard by your eternal love?
