Pardon From The Storm

Take my heart and carry me to where all dreams are born. Into loves arms, oh such a place that's always safe and warm. Away from such deceitful lairs where blackened virtues swarm. into a light where peace must shine and grants us pardon from a storm. High above the mountain tops or low as low can be. Makes no difference where we are a wondrous lyric calls to me. Singing of your splendor like a miracle performed. I'll stay with you to find the port that grants us pardon from a storm. It Is Springtime In Heaven

It is now springtime in heaven Sky is so blue...sun shining so bright Beautiful flowers are everywhere Angels are dancing...as the harps play Here on earth...we scamper around Sky is so blue...sun shining so bright Beautiful flowers are everywhere We are missing the angels in heaven Angels are dancing...as the harps play They await the day...as we do also As once again we will all be together Our mothers and us...in heaven above Dedicated to: Our Mothers in Heaven and her children who will be missing her this weekend on Mother's Day To all of you who still have your mother here on earth with you make sure she knows how much you love her.

NO ESCAPE - LYRICS

The freedom of life’s end without escape,
no place to elude the pain of despair.
So close was the notion of a black cape,
darkness to cover existence unfair.
The pain of love far more than life itself,
to bear in hapless sorrow of regret.
Lost in the false sense of my darkest self
tainted minds morbid reflections beset.
Dejected self with mindless thoughts adrift;
no lease of life to feel the next morrow.
I was chosen to live by natures gift
and find freedom from the fear of sorrow.
Restrained by realities painful wrath,
a search begins to find life’s righteous path.

Lemon Trees

I know the land where the lemon-trees flower.
My love met me near them, to linger an hour.
I kissed him, I hugged him and smelled the sweet scent,
And prayed it stayed with him, wherever he went.
The day was so perfect, the skies were so blue.
The fragrance entrancing and love was so new.
He broke off a blossom and gave it to me,
And promised his love for an eternity.
My friends were so happy to plan bridal showers
And my wedding bouquet was of lemon-tree flowers.

Summer Breeze

Soft lights with warm winds pirouetting in time whispering its music so perfectly in rhyme Hearts searching, ever searching for love's sweet caress Wishing, ever hoping, to so tenderly possess Moonlight in concert reflecting its bliss Starlight's twinkle, a pretentious first kiss Hearts searching, ever searching for love's sweet caress Wishing, ever hoping, to so tenderly possess The concert of summer called gently your name Softly, by this music into my life you came Hearts searching, ever searching for love's sweet caress Wishing, ever hoping, to so tenderly possess. 08/10/2018 Summer Breeze Contest Sponsored by John Hamilton

The Pain Game

Why do people, want to cause
Other people pain
Where is the Love
That will break the chain

Someone says something
Then it's tit-for-tat
I've played this before
We all know the score
Now who's up at bat

I think it's time, for us to play
The self healing game
Before there's no one, left
Around to blame

One that's more thoughtful
And much less insane
Let's reach for the Sun
And help everyone
Come out of the rain

All we have, is this fleeting chance
To get this right
No time for jealousies
No time to fight

Don't say, that you're sorry
Don't seek to forgive
Just start here today
And throw it away
And learn how to live

GUESS IT'S OVER

Never thought it would be easy
After all these years
You’d leave me all alone
To face my lonely fears

Promised me the earth
When I became your bride
Said we were forever
Always side by side

I’m sitting here without you
You were my guiding light
Now you’ve turned your back on me
So I’ve given up without a fight

In time I’ll move on
Now you’ve let me go
One day I may find love again
When my broken heart gets strong

Would I take you back
If you came begging on bended knee
Guess I’m not so sure
I’m getting used to being free

I feel African in every Vein

I feel African in every vein
the arteries pulsate with love
this continent is so dear to me

I feel African in every breath
the challenges the world paints
I see not but beautiful Africa

All Africans here and far away
join me to hold Africa together
no piece should go to the winds

The unity of the land of Africa
the resources of the land of Africa
are gifts no humans brought here

Patriots of Africa come hold hands
this land you owe loving service
dust off yourselves to build Africa

Old Africa where is your wisdom?
come out of your boxes and unite
the world is vibrant, lets wake up

I feel African in every vein
Africa my sweet-heart duty calls

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT ANACREONTIC VERSE

Abandoned by your own mother. How could she leave you to die? You were helpless, bedraggled and weak. When I saw you my heart melted… who could resist those huge blue eyes. I scooped you up and carried you home. You cried for your mum; but she was long gone. I gave you warm milk you drank thirstily; then fell asleep in my arms. I begged my mum to let you stay. From that day you stole my heart. I fell in love with my first kitten. Sponsor Ed Ebbs Contest Anacreontic Verse 1 11~07~15

Sweet Sensation

Real love, don't act it,
Its cold,please hot it,
All yours, attack it,
Continue, don't stop it...

Thick,not thin,
Awwww,slide in,
Different positions,
360,rotating...

Open,when I stick,
Hard,like a brick,
Tock,when I tick,
Smooth,and slick...

pseudo artistry

Blood that screams mixes with tears of fears,
Over your hypocrisy and useless years.
Fresh cuts don't matter - your attentions yet wane.
It's just too easy to shut down, I could end this pain.

But, escape artists aren't artists at all.

When life ends the real journey begins, the journey to be
Above imperfection and glorified weakness everyone sees.
Life trickles into the drain of the sink, wash it and pretend
The veil is burning off,but there is only so much fire can mend

Besides, escape artists aren't artists at all.

SOFTLY

Softly my love come to me.
Open you heart let me see.
The love you hold inside of thee.
Touch my lips so tenderly.

Softly my love kiss those lips.
Melt my heart, bestow your bliss.
Take me to heaven, love sublime.
I am yours and you are mine.

Softly my love all night through.
Hold my body next to you.
Wrap me up in your embrace.
Of true love now let me taste.

Softly my love let me taste you.
Inhale, touch and caress you.
I give myself to you my sweet.
No one else can compete.

Leftovers

Soberly, I raise my head
to beg you for
one thin slice of bread
since on the table
a dirty dish holds the residue
of someone else’s wish

And there’s nothing left
nothing left for me
No there’s nothing left
nothing left for me

Hours later, you lie there still
watching more headlights
glide above the window sill
'cause though your mind
fights back desperately
each new passing car
stirs the same old memory

So there’s nothing left
nothing left for me
No there’s nothing left
nothing left for me

Pictures of You

I love looking at pictures of you. I stroke your hair, touch your check – I even pat your nose and just grin. Such sentimental heart peak No better grin could seek. I love looking at pictures of you. My eyes glow looking into yours - My fingers trace your sweet face. Such tender sweetness flows. No love has stronger glow. On your pictures, I love to dwell For since you were but a morsel I have been your softest sell. I love looking at pictures of you, My baby sister love pastel.

Him

I feel him everywhere
He's my savior and loving prayer

Let me tell you he's mighty fine

Smiling eyes to see me through
In everything I choose to do

The very best of humankind

My very soul my dream come true
Never loved anyone like I love you

God knows I thank him all the time

I feel him everywhere
Angels sent him I'm aware

I will love him till the end of time

Sunburst - made into a song

Sun brush slow as dawn's light breaks
kiss gently on this heart that wakes
warm up days til night stand guard
when breeze blows brisk and mighty hard

Tap lightly on her peeked cheek this morn
where thoughts of love and life are born
bring forth to her peace and hope
and faith in man from words God spoke

Impart comfort and ease in rays you share
lighten our load on that cross we bare
Rise up high and in blue skies do rest
soothe our souls with loyal hearts abreast

Sun brush slow as dawn's light breaks
Paint with grace 'pon swan still lakes

A Loving Kiss

In a silent beckoning From the hearts loving call Where a simple day of beauty falls A white rose opens So pure so free And wings of love In you In me Take flight beyond To drift so free Each delicate petal Of silken love In wind blown dream Rise above Where painted gardens In rainbow mist Flouish beneath A loving kiss

Melting Me

Melting through glass like sand through the sea Burning like fire through the evergreens When you touch me Fingers trembling in the extremity Sprouting to life, a little blossom on a branch Falling through rocks like an avalanche When you hold me My heart flits and flutters incessantly Floating along a river with a cool summer breeze Drifting to the heavens under skies like these When you love me The heavens and stars are drowned in ecstasy

Sing Me An Old Style Song

Sing Me an Old Style Song

Sing me an old style song,
With pretty flowing phrases;
A story of love gone wrong,
In other times, in other places.

No trumpets blare, just sweet trombones,
A crooner, smooth tongued and mellow.
Hurting, aching, quiet, for me alone.
Sing me an old style song.

Let bottled tears stain my cheeks,
As your freckled nose appears before me.
For I cannot cry to beats and bangs,
Please sing me an old style melody.

That I may cry and cleanse my heart;
Empty and ready for a new filled start.

One Drink Closer To Yesterday

I’m one drink closer to yesterday
A bottle away from being with you
I’ll be able to say what I need to say
I’ll be able to do what I need to do

I’m one drink closer to yesterday
My mind repeats the words we said
When love was new and could outweigh
The troubles that would lie ahead

Now my love is made of glass
I pour my heart as I trespass
On memories that I know must last
While wishing I could change the past

I’m one drink closer to yesterday
I’m one shot away from happiness
And this time, I won’t runaway
And my words won’t be meaningless

Please Love me Like I love You

Your lips I wonder and ponder
Wishing to place them upon mine
As I conjure your taste in wander
Intoxicating as if a fine wine
Your eyes so intriguing as jewels
Bright diamonds sparkling into mine
Your scent of perfume I cannot refuse
Please love me like I love you
Take this heart and hold it as if it were yours
Let our dreams come true
Never let me go and I will hold you
Please love me like I love you
Take this hand and walk with it
Hold it as if it were yours
For two become one
You will always be mine let me hold you

Will You be my Valentine

Life Not A Contest

Your contest I don't want to be in my friend
You want our lives to be a forever contest
Your best friend you always say that I am
Do you always need to be one up on me

I get something new and tomorrow you have it too
I get an illness and you have it or had it only worse
I say I love something and you always loved it first
I want to be me and you be you, as life isn't a contest
to me.

My Strong Black Man

Brown eyes so deep with anger and pain yet, so hypnotising and sweet they
tempt my soul.

Lips so soft and warm, such harsh words for such gentle lips. Kiss me so I can
feel your pain.

An embrace so safe and secure that could crush you and destroy that which is
oh so pure- hold me closley.

I feel your heart,
I hear your breath,
I know there is love inside.

A sculptured body, skin of a king, I see you in my dreams-I feel you when you are
away.

If only you loved me with a heart that's pure.
If only you'd let me in so I could love you,
forever and ever,
my strong black man...
