Death of the Poet Destroyer

~The Untold Fatal Attraction Poem~

Mid-morning she sees the sun ahead
Her death flowed in a messaged bottle
Gazing into her brown eyes upon all open sores,
Her conscience dark and gray a never-ending war!
A giant cyclone of a thousand thoughts swirled around this little girl.
Inflicting away the pain, through the comfort of others pen
The way she twisted and twisted life’s perception was out of her control
Inside she knew the glass slipper was never hers to show off

She is baring nothing but a tainted pen, walking throughout eternity’s sand
A prosecutor of misdeeds, accomplishing what, without knowing the way
Departing from her fractured self, she begins to slip into a righteous form,
Twirling her twilight's pen like a baton, spinning it to one final stand

She awakens in a dream, where her sadness does not allow the light to reform
Her body is weak and pale against the birth of her undying sun
Staring down into the deepness of every-bodies abyss
Inside all souls is where she felt lighter, than the retarded sun gives
A crimson sky follows her just to reveal her diminished soul,
A life of shunning out the city glow will always dwell deep inside her
Sleeping under society as one, insulting the taste of innocent blood
Forgetting the vengeance, in a dimension where the pen is mightier than the sword

How did she let it come to this?
In one feeling she fell in love with the spirit of the living rhyme
Watching from a cave, with a diabolical look
Refusing to grasp the self - nature and kill off the destroyer's will
A price beyond this enigmatic world, craving to be just like them
Condemning her meaning to a blasphemy of white butterflies
Destroying her poetic meaning that was destined to dance a tangle of endless rage
In love with the essence of her deceased will
She clings on to the dimness and brilliance at the same time
All corpses lost beyond the girl in question,
Sympathetic in a bizarre language, she mutters out sweetness
Her heart mended, recognizing all the adoration and poetic addiction
Exchanging the real terror, fixated by the life force of her poetic destruction
Giving birth to a new revelation
Now she will never deceive her love for the making of true art,
Not wanting to belong in this wretched world with her destroying criteria,
Her soul sails looking for a new era where love will no longer generate
As she loathes the love and decides not to destroy this generation with hate

At last, longing this one day with the angel of death
With a closing teardrop, one last thought
My death will not be the end; only the ascension~

Will You Tie My Shoes When I Grow Old

You were beautiful,
my tiny child,
wrapped tightly in my arms,
close to my heart.
I listened to you breathing.
I counted your fingers
and your toes.
Helpless,
you cried out to me
and I loved you
with every ounce of my soul.

Will you hear me
when I cry out?
Will you hold me close
as I held you then?

I remember the day
You took your first step.
There was no stopping you.
Your feet gave you freedom
to explore the world
like never before
but danger lurked.
I opened those doors anyway,
cautiously,
and introduced
you to the world.
Where will you be
when my legs
no longer run?
no longer work?
Will you realize
that I love
freedom too?

I laugh
about that day
you first tied your shoe.
We tried and tried
to get that rabbit
in that hole
and you finally did it.
You pointed your toes
for everyone to see
how proud you were.

I am proud too,
of my writing
and my drawing,
of my needlework
and my cooking.
But my hands are beginning to ache
and my fingers will not bend.
I will lose the things
that make me proud
except for you.
Hopefully not you.
Will you let me
brag on you?
Even tell wild stories
that are a bit beyond the truth?
Will you be proud of me too?

I waved good-bye
that morning when you left
on that large, yellow bus.
I was so scared.
I know you were too.
You waved at me bravely
through the dusty window
but I saw the water
forming in your eyes.
You came home, however,
full of pride and joy.
You sang the alphabet song
and got most of it right.
You practiced for hours
until you could sing it
even in your sleep.

But
I'm afraid.
I forgot
whether I took
my pills today or not.
I forgot
if I told this story before.
I even forgot once
who you were
and it terrified me.
My mind
is my treasure
the only thing I have left,
and I heard you make
fun of me
for not remembering
that I gave you the
same gift as last year.
Will you love me
when I no longer
know who I am?

You came home blushing
from the glow of
your first kiss.
Your first love,
the one you thought was real.
You talked about him non-stop.
You changed for himYou gave.
But he left you anyway
for a blue-eyed girl
and I held you
while you cried for him.

I too have a
broken heart.
The love of my life
left me after
fifty-six years.
He left me here
to live life on my own
while he moved on
to another realm
And I cry for him too.
I long for his shoulder
and strong embrace.
I feel betrayed
because he and I
made a deal
that we would never
leave the other alone.
Yet I am alone
sitting in an echoing house
with no hands to hold.

You welcomed her home today-
your tiny baby girl.
She has your eyes
and possibly your toes.
I see you counting them
as they roll me
into the room.
You finally came
to visit.
It has been a while.

You look up at me
with tears in your eyes
and ask
almost desperately,

"Will she tie my
shoes
when I get old? "

ONLY EVER WITH YOU

O N L Y E V E R W I T H Y O U Only ever with you, I love to have and hold into the circle of your arms, I'll unfold; into your blue eyes' greeting shine, my gold; only ever with you, I yearn to grow old... Only ever with you I can write rhymes as such for you bring my muse from dust to dash, to hush Only ever with you my being wants to attach as first step already taken to our primrose path Only ever with you, tips dance linger to cherry lips Slow summer hands will roam vast to wonderland Whence pearl white peel smooches chocolate skin only ever with you, heartbeats climbs a boiling point Stars and moon may leave the dark skies yet, one look at the gleam of your blue eyes day and night, I see the rising sunrise. Only ever with you, I will dive to lows or heights for only ever with you, I'll plunge to infinity. Prayers plea asking blessings from Divinity to tie two hearts and two souls in sole unity. Mindless to whatever is there in humanity Only ever with you... _______________________________________________ POEM OF THE DAY -- February 27, 2015 ©OEGuillermo 5:32 pm, February 26, 2015

In The Moment

Sitting by his bed
Labored breathing
Time is short
Holding his hand
A prayer – for him, for me
Be strong and courageous
Eyes blink open for a moment
Then nothing – gone
Tears flow
Skin relaxes
Death pallor forms
Alone in the moment
Alone

Cell Phone rings
My daughter in a panic
Fear spikes my heart
Dad – there are ants in the bathroom
Relief – exhaling
Death in the moment
But also Life
Life

Goodbye dear friend
Our time over
Your precious love and wisdom
I take
To guide my moments
My moments

To love
To forgive
To encourage
To live
Each day
Each person
In every situation
Compassionately
Boldly
Completely
In every moment

In
Every
Moment

Under the Same Moon -3-Way-Collaboration-

 ~Under the Same Moon~

P.D.
Our days are different, living under the same moon
Down here in TEXAS, life carries a different tune
This world spins on its lovely axis
Listening to our Tex-Mex of our English lexis
We share a world made with the trust of God's hand
Revealing the beauty that life continue to expand
Don't underestimate our football image of our Cow Boy land
A mysterious Mockingbird only we Texans understand
Surrounded by the sweetest Pecan trees
The Northern Winters come in like a breeze and a tease
We also have them Blue Bonnet fields that come and go
Tell me about CANADA, what makes its motion flow?
Branded like a Long Horn, with my Lone Star State pride
How about you, CHRIS AWhat's up on your side?

Chris D.Aechtner
Different lives, different lands, living under the same moon,
waking up to the ghostly calls of the wild loon.
Look upon mountains and forests stretching into infinity-
mighty Sequoias and tall Douglas firs stand majestically.
I could offer stereo-typical images of hockey, snow and moose,
or sockeye salmon, maple syrup and the great Canadian goose,
but we Canucks are becoming tired of idly standing by
as the rest of the world dips its fingers into our Northern pie.
We are a nation of peaceful, open-minded hospitality,
shying away from brutality by offering liberal neutrality.
Before I blow my top as my strong emotions collide,
I should definitely step away from my nationalistic pride,
and ask about the Philippines and its tropical flair-
how about you Nikko, what is happening over there?

NIKKO P.
Oceans away, here I am, living under the same moon
Sun’s rising over there; here, dish runs away with the spoon
My sleep is whacked, so I’m wide awake when you are,
amazing how we can all be in one place even if we’re all very far
Where islands form the shape of an old man, waters hug our shores
Tropical Paradise here, when you explore the great outdoors
Awesome sunsets, bountiful fiestas, the warmest smiles to greet you...
We here just love to eat when there’s nothing else to do!
Colorful rice cakes, freshest seafood, the most succulent mangoes~
Sunny days or rainy days, the creativity here just flows.
ResilientThis is a word that pops to mind when I think of us Filipinos-
We bend and bounce back, no matter how hard the wind blows.
This is just a sneak peek, but I’d love to know more about Utah
Care to share what’s on your side, my dear friend Andrea?

A Last Poem for You, My Mate

A Last Poem for You, My Mate

If Death comes calling in colorful spring
I hope it will come in the month of May
When our garden is filled with fragrant blooms
That you have tended in your caring way.

Pansies and daisies with their sweet faces
Look up to agapanthus lofty height.
Each bloom as diverse as we are humans,
Each offers beauty to my love's delight.

Please don't come in summer when school is out,
Time with our grandchildren I cherish so.
I can't think of ruining their fun time
I'm pleading, in summer, don't make me go.

The times that we share at the pool or parks
Is precious to me as watching them grow.
They fill my heart with such laughter and joy
I feel their love too...I'm letting you know.

Oh Death, come in autumn, my favored time.
When green leaves turn scarlet, orange and gold.
My eyes feast on beauty of changing trees,
Grateful for my seasons of growing old.

Autumn transcends my soul's true endeavors
To leave with you poetic words, my mate.
My legacy...to our generations
As we must all accept Death as our fate.

In winter, a time of quiet and rest...
When reflections of past mirror our views
And we watch as our life spreads before us
If it’s time to leave, I wish I could choose.

However Death, should you come in winter,
When the Earth like my hair is bathed in white,
I'd embrace your visit in my winter
To dwell forever in God's divine light.

                 of togetherness and not of
               goodbyes, hating to disperse
the fiery rhymes of your lips,
as well as the warmth of its

                     gently, as it envisions
                          you, in an early
                                misty

Waiting to be free

             Waiting to be free

I am dying, but not like anybody who died.
I am living, but in the rainbow, I do reside
How much longer will I go until secrets unveil?
My mind cannot comprehend but my heart will decide.
My problems are too simple, my remedy complex;
Love is my medicine, which I have identified.
Destination is unknown; the journey is too short,
My vehicle is broken, our driver is mystified
My body is a cage, my soul is shackled inside
Speak not of troubles, my pain will be justified.
The door is half open; I can see the ray of love,
My heart will take over until we’re all unified.
Tomorrow, I will fly with swallows, they know the path.
Who can you trust “Haloo”? There is no one to confide.

March 1st, 2016 Haloo

I dedicate this poem to Daniel Turner, for all his love and friendship

Fallen Star

I tracked along a silver trail
carved out from Earthly dust
by rays persistent in the dark
and midnight wanderlust.

It led me to a bubbling fount
of sulfurous mud and tar;
whereupon I chanced a glimpse
and found a fallen star

An ancient from celestial realms
ensnared terrestrially
dimly glowing in the murk
I heard it sing to me:

Sojourner of the moonlit way
I sense thy beating heart
I’ve travelled from infinity
now hearken ere you part.

You roam upon this infant orb,
you draw from it thy life,
but I sense greed and evil scorn
and no land void of strife.

I beg you tell me how it came
that creatures such as thee
have found such hatred in thy souls
to punish endlessly

It’s not so bad, I said out loud
we know of love as well…
as to the fate of mother Earth
I simply can’t foretell.

The ground beneath my weary feet
gave way to empty space
then all around me in the void
I saw the human race.

Starving children, ill and gaunt
were kicked by wing-tipped shoes.
Females ranging every clime
in silence nursed abuse.

In darkness men were plotting war
in light their banners raised
it mattered not which way I looked
some evil met my gaze

Make it stop, I beg you please!
Why poison thou my mind?
What can I do to stop all this,
is no good left to find?

Sojourner of the moonlit way
I sense thy beating heart
I’ve travelled from infinity
now hearken ere you part.

You roam upon this infant orb,
you draw from it thy life,
and though you’re one of many men
love in thy chest is rife.

You must return to whence you came
you must confer abroad
the goodness that within thee burns
seek first to serve the flawed.

Think on the vast expanse of space
so empty, dark and cold…
and how despite the hopeless cause
star-light you still behold.

So too might thou, if you’ll but try
endure this awful plight
for in the vast expanse of hate
love is thy shining light

Sadly Musing Life and Love

I sit alone as evening claims the day,
with common crow my only confidant.
I watch the sun sink slowly in the bay
while musing life and love so nonchalant.

As night descends upon my humble soul,
my furtive feelings ponder kinship lost.
I’m missing precious love that makes me whole;
my dearest darling gone at such a cost.

And woe I say, why did she go away,
and leave my heavy heart in agony;
behind, my shallow spirit here to stay;
she cast our love away so damnably.

Alas, I rue thee, my ascetic life,
and long to lance my heart with wretched knife.

Tin Foil Hearts

On pensive planes of wraith-like existence,
Are stoic shadows feigning affection;
Crimson lips of withering consistence,
Have lost their craze for craving confection.

Tear-filling prisms tilling a rueing sphere,
Pathos prowling, pity's wild and roaming;
Reminisce wind-blown is tumbleweed drear,
Bathos like bramble bur clings in gloaming.

Tin foil hearts' echo sad droning down-beat,
Rose petal ballet two rust figurines;
Today's gray sleet does douse yesteryears' heat,
Apathy's ennui directing the scenes...

Love once aflare in fanfare marigold,
Lies now a wizened weed, dried and stone cold.

.."?Your Beauty!"..

Blackberry kisses, within the celestial starlit mornings hour....

Stirring these passions aglow, amid the flickering flames of desire ~

Caressing such thoughts of you; smouldering embers, that burnish so very brightly!

These ardent heated emotions; florids, of the blue oranges rising ~

Crossing the boundaries of a tomorrows promise....

Once thought to be but only, a forbiddens dream?!

As I now feel your ivory breast, pressing softly to my burning heart

Beating, beneath the magic of your silkened strawberry lips; moist ~

Burying this arrow of our light, gently, inside of thee....

To gather your cries, as you reach for the sky

And arch as a bow, your life; pouring its pleasures

Upon this world of my own, soul!

Tasting now your glistening sweetened nectars; ripe

While twirling unto the delight, of such joyous and piercing prose...

These mounds of vanillas creams, melting, their flavours into me

Entangled, within this fairy tales maze, of your alluring eyes ~

Which consume my very being, with the breath, of your beautiful gaze!

Intensely dissolving these walls once built; like painted clay, inside of a broken kiln....

This barrier now breached, by your majestically perfect smile ~

To become but a flowing river once more, of glittering and sparkling currents

Beneath your rainbows colours, of everything, that was forever meant to be!?

This tenderness of your touch, as soft as a whitened doves; smooth and subtle....

Quenching my deepest thirst; as you engrave your longing nails

Of rosebud scarlet, into the cores of my no longer bleeding, searching heart!

Dripping with its desires for you; pulsing and exploding, inside....

Mesmerized, by your presence; and cast, upon the shores of your love ~

As the candle light glows, afore these shadows that dance; their enchanting trance

And the silhouettes sway, beneath their yellowish moon....

Aflame, amid your igniting embrace; while you stroke these fires, that burn

Yearn, for only you and you alone; your light, and your touch ~

The very essence which breathes this life, your life, profoundly, inside of me!

Within these blackberry kisses; dreams, of a tomorrows horizon

Now thriving, atop the crystals waters, of this sea of love....

Pounding; throbbing; penetrating; tingling; the warmth of your breast, pressed

Eternity, upon the tip of my tongue; your sugar laced taste ~

ONE FOR ALL

God is all colours
And He is no colour,
For He lives in the black
And He lives in the white.
He lives in the mixed,red
Olive, brown and yellow,
For He lives in the heart
Where colours out of sight.

God is all creeds
And he is no creed.
He lives in the Muslim
And He lives in the Jew.
He's there in the Hindu,
The Christian, the Buddhist.
In all true believers
And the doubters too-

So why all this predjudice
Because of colour?
Why all this thinking
There's a chosen race?
Why are we fighting
In the name of religion?
When surely God wears
Every human face.

Man has differences
Man has opinions.
That is the way
The human race is run.
God is only ONE GOD
However we see him.
He's one for all,
So that all can be ONE

His Life, His Love: Sailor's Moon

Above a cloud, in soundless, still tumescence,
a goddess rests; below her is the sea.
A strip of it is rippling luminescence,
a path of light in night’s serenity.
A solitary boat now passes through
the lane of radiance One man regards
the sky and ocean, both a cobalt blue,
and ponders inspiration of the bards.

For what could man want more than such as this -
-the tranquilness of dark in Luna’s glow!
At times he longs to taste a woman’s kiss
though he embraced this life so long ago

His gaze is fixed on her who shines above
He chose the seaand moon became his love.

Love Is

Love is a rainbow mirrored in the sky
Its free, its beautiful and tells no lies

A gleaming reflection
Upon the still of a pond
The dewy mist on a freshly cut lawn

Love is a sanctuary for our innermost fears
A tiny capsule to hold all of our tears

A symbol of beauty, rare to be found
Its strength and convictions
Knows no bounds

Love is the touch of our first newborn
So soft, so delicate, so easy to adore

An unconditional consenting of souls
An awareness, a spirit, unique to its own

Love soothes and heals though cannot be bought
An eternal commitment so widely sought

Love is a truth and blossoms for few
A necessity of life, a uniting of hearts
A palette so stunning, so beautiful and new

Love is how I feel for you.

Like You

Like you..

I dream of drifting away on a sunny day
high above the cottony stuffed clouds
I'll glide erasing all the hurtful feeling inside
a season of fear will somehow disappear
and I'll be free..like you..you see

Crazy you say..

My dream with Prince Charming happy endings
filling out candy corn fields of sugary substance
not slowing down to lick the wounds of old
I'm told too bold to wallow in the worries
that others have laid down at the foot of empty

Like you...

Love dances off the lashes longing to look
past the surface wiped down with yesterday's
cloth soaked in the tears of disgust crying out
to be held at bay where the footprints have
walked into the kiss of tomorrow's setting sun

Her Grace, Soft As The Silence Of Morn's Falling Dew

Her Grace, Soft As The Silence Of Morn's Falling Dew

Her romantic letters, birth as heart pure and true
supported deep vows we both swore to be held to.
Her grace, soft as the silence of morn's falling dew
with vows to keep hot passion of love that is new.
Spring had brought this loving angel truly divine
her beauty and purity no words could define.

Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts
Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts.

Nature spoke to her and she in turn gave away
nuggets of its splendors, rich truths none can betray.
As Heaven and Sky blessed her every foot fall
she never said uttered a word needing recall.
Her time on earth, gifted only goodness and light
romancing her first love and precious was her sight.

Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts.
Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts.

I read her yearning poetry each heartfelt verse
and in her rapture was my being’s full immerse.
Word-whispers from the page caressed me wispy thrill
reminding me of days sweet gilt of daffodil
and petals pink neath dream girl skies so soft, in sooth
enchanting was the tender season of her youth.

Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts.
Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts.

In quiet hush before sunrise our love was lush
until aurora banished night in her gold rush
of dawning tipsy in wine-stained heavens shinin’
desires spilled our lusty reds across horizon -
a blaze of colors branding love’s intensity,
time and space sparked by fired hearts’ electricity.

Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts.
Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts.

Enlightened spirit from defeat of sorrow’s foe,
her gift, in written verse of love, to set aglow
a life of beauty echoing the words of love
now distant in the skies with kindness up above
when golden strings of sacred lust remain in thrills
of woven love, entangled in a braid of frills.

Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts.
Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts.

Her fragile throne of virtues goodness cast in gold
beyond eternal love, angelic charms behold
through mortal death returned to God’s celestial care
to guide from heavens, words of wisdom in her prayer
endowment of the past as lover’s hearts enlace
with charms beyond life, she remains my saving grace.

Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts.
Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts.

Your Love Redeemed My Faith In Hope

Your Love Redeemed My Faith In Hope

Across the dance floor, your soft sashaying gown flew
with its bright waving gleams of silver dust and blue;
within that blessed gaze, lonesome heart jumped a beat
seeing those golden slippers on your dainty feet,
feeling love's welcomed arrows shot by Cupid's bow
knowing that most treasured gift would forever grow!

That cool June night we walked under golden moon's beams
with your heart and soul gifting love that so redeems;
this man that had lost heart and walked a blind path
death long ago condemned this soul to darkest wrath,
torn asunder joy in life that had been a gift
chained this spirit upon a black-ship set adrift!

Loss of my beloved I once lived blind despair
wading through this evil world's black pits without care;
her sweet love reminding me of Hope that was lost,
found anew when your destined path with mine was crossed.
I saw the world with open eyes but could not see
Faith, till sight was laid upon fair beauty of thee...

Your rosy warmth danced with grace thawing my cold heart,
seduced by rousing rhythm never would we part.
My heart began to waltz and pallid pulse did race
as I saw charmed moonlight caress your angel’s face,
I longed forevermore to tilt your chin and kiss
your promising sunrise lips of heavenly bliss.

That early summer’s eve I took a leap of faith
willing to let go of my haunting lost love wraith,
I found with you the heart to fall in love once more
and glissade you in my arms ‘cross life’s ballroom floor.
Alone in love’s spotlight of golden moon beam’s glow
you have my whole attention for you stole the show.

Twin Souls

I believe in twin souls, not soulmate a twin has a  connection that can  never be broken.... Lasting through all lifetimes They just fit and belong  together....you can't fight the  pull you two share.... You will know when your twin  soul is near, because the souls cry out to each other when they feel the others energy.... As if a part of yourself  had been laying dormant  until they awaken each  other and instantly there is a  magnetic pull between the two They will beckon to each other  compelling you to reach out..... You hope the other can feel it too, so you approach cautiously....testing to see If they do and you talk.... You will be amazed at the  things you two have In common.... Things that seemed unimportant  before now you see it's all part  of your connection you share.... There is always a chance  you two met too soon  and the other body has other  obligations and you cannot  fault them or perhaps they were not ready yet...you see  it's ok at least you have just realized you have one waiting You have made it past the worst part..you now know what has always been missing...... Now you can stop spending life looking for a soulmate when that is not what is greatest.... Twin souls belong together  and if this lifetime wasnt  right then in the next one.... But until that time comes to be..... they are who you long for... Who you dream of.... Who you long to hold you  tight within their embrace... They are who you associate  true happiness with.... your true mate.....your true twin..... Your perfect fit in every lifetime....... They are your true twin soul..... YOUR ONE TRUE LOVE......

We Danced Through Life

We danced amongst the stars that night
when joy had fallen far from sight

We danced under the sun so bright
And when all seemed lost, we held on tight

We danced to the music of hummingbirds
And we danced in the silence when there were no words.

We danced in the shadows of fear and doubt
And we danced when we questioned what life’s about

We danced amongst the evergreens
That posed for painters winter scenes.

We danced in the winters bitter chill
And when we danced our world stood still.

For that’s what love was meant to be
To find the dance when we cannot see.

To write a new song when the music stops
With lyrics that caress every tear that drops.

For when the rhythm changes and tempo slowed
We’re called to dance with the seeds we sowed.

For life is hard, there is no doubt
But Dancing through it, is what life’s about.

Each Day Takes its Turn

Standing firm
we live
we give
we take
we learn
we strive to make sure
each day enlightens us
and brightens us
even as light fades to gray
may we keep fighting
with two swollen feet
beneath the body and soul
experiencing trials
and intense life lessons
meshed with stresses
may we persevere
turn off fear's song
may we stand firm
as we glide along
through shifty winds of change
that may cause things to sway
rearrange
but we hold true
inside the values and morality
we stand for
we
fall for nothing
we
may stumble along the trip
we
may swerve at the wheel yet
we
do not lose our grip
because no one
can eclipse the sun
yet
everyone heals
before they're done

Just when situations arise
flooding us with pain we despise
and just when it seems like
our tear ducts are dry
from ongoing cries
we may think
things are on the brink of ending
then God shows us the ways of faith
by way of love that he's sending

Standing firm
we live
we give
we take
we learn
we make sure
every day enlightens us
and brightens us
as each day takes its turn

Soul mates solace

When my final shadows cling on desperately
Where I fight formidable battles
to merely hold the light
I send you loving vibrations
and soul sustenance
Deep from the cathedral
of one heart to another
where today no choirs sing
nor symphonies play
Yet it is here where we meet
in spiritual solace
here to surrender
and exchange inestimable treasures
recollecting memories
like unopened letters
Galaxies are stretched
over chronicles of shared history
Nebula birthing stars
will be exposed
in forth-coming conversations
bringing short-lived fulfillment to you
Hungry to feast
now will be the time
to approve your blood art vision
and with my own haunting surrender
as dappled shades ink stain your chest
I will reside with you and share, mesmerised
pens - by branding
as this will be your written reams to me
your artist's pallet or brushed canvas
no need for words
and yet creating
mysterious magical moments
Bitter-sweet the music
that dances taut guitar strings
but now blood approved
please go kick your heel up
return to your laughter
and ride on the breeze
for not all are lost
change not
for I am with you always
to love, listen and comfort as one
with you in me and I in you
as masterpiece

Lonely Dreams

I never knew following dreams could be this lonely,
But up on the hill, looking back, thank God I'm not the old me.
If the tears will fall, let them be;
I believe this is God's plan, follow your dreams.

Sweetest Love Note

One night a guy & a girl were
driving home from the moviesThe
boy sensed there was
something wrong because of the painful
silence they shared between them
that nightThe girl then asked the boy to pull over
because she wanted to talkShe told him that her
feelings had changed & that it was time to move on.
A silent tear slid down his cheek as he
slowly reached into his pocket & passed her a folded note.
At that moment, a drunk driver was speeding down
that very same streetHe swerved
right into the drivers seat, killing the boy.
Miraculously, the girl survivedRemembering the note, she
pulled it out & read it.
"Without your love, I would die."

Ode to the Redwood

I was once a little twig with dreams of being a mighty tree
So people would come from all around just to look at me
As the years started to come and go I fell in love with the wind
I would open myself big and wide swaying to the music of my friend
My rings became many and my bark was as red as red could be
Then the day finally came I was the tallest of the tallest trees
I stood tall and I stood proud and everyone knew my name
As my rings continued recording my destiny to fame
Then the fateful day it came my friend and I had a fight
Looking back I can't recall who was wrong or right
I said, "You are but the wind something people can't even see"
" And I'm the king of them all the tallest of the tallest trees"
That night the wind started to howl she really started to blow
And I the tallest of all the trees learned we reap what we sow
My roots struggled to hold on tight but without a soul around
She who had been my dearest friend knocked me to the ground
The loggers came and cut me up then shipped me away
To my soul that truly was a sad and lonely day
Torn from all I knew and loved wishing I didn't have to feel
I was cut into boards and post down at the local mill
Now I'm back here at home just a few feet away
From where my friend the wind and I used to dance and play
I'm the deck on which you stand I lay below your feet
There is a bench made of me would you care to have a seat
Sometimes in life our roles change just take a look at me
The trick is no matter who are what you are be all you can be
See I was once a little twig who became a mighty tree
And now I'm a redwood deck as proud as proud can be
And of my friend the wind she visits me everyday
So I can thank her once again for helping me find my way

I must Carpe Diem

I used to live life full of dreams
Planning, for many years to come.
Where I will be, when I will go,
A future that was filled with fun.

Till the day my life was shattered.
Till the day when the hammer struck.
All my dreams now torn asunder
Nowhere to hide, nowhere to duck.

I stood my battles, fought the fight
We gathered and said our goodbyes,
Yet through all of your brave faces,
I could still hear the silent cries.

Last Will and Testament written,
Everything important was said,
“I love you,” still that magic word,
I’d sleep in peace tucked in my bed.

Then something magical happened,
I came back from places of dread.
Now more a part of the living,
Each day I get stronger instead.

Now I know what’s most important
Enjoy precious moments each day,
Learned not to live for tomorrows
That just might not come anyway.

I enjoy each sip of coffee,
Watching leaves turn colours and fly,
Kisses from my sweet little dog,
Every time I see a blue sky.

The music of my Children’s voices,
Love of family never ends,
Carpe Diem, just seize the day,
That is my new motto my friends.

- Every Breath You Take -

To get my heart in the right rhythm, I have to catch your inner you
Holding hands kiss colors inside sunshine warm paradise

Together we share our dreams with a glass of pink champagne
Celebrating a living memory of eternal beauty sparkling gems glisten

We will find ourselves in an everlasting magical journey
Where the golden barley shakes silken softly whispers in our breeze

I'll walk with you through ages of time
Uniting as one shadow embraced dancing silver treasure

Pure angel of dawn, you've stolen my heart
Weightless without body floating beautiful falling inside the soul's desire

The Woman

See the woman.

See the face behind its age.
See the beauty of her form.
See the way her way becomes her.
See past her once taught skin, as it was
when it enflamed many a man.

See the way she holds her head;
the tilt of her neck, the ease
of her being.
See the strength that binds her jaw,
unrelenting in its flex.

See her hurt displayed, as shadows
fall like night upon the earth,
eager for rest and resolution -
retribution,
for the one she could not save.

See her darknessSee it very well.
See it shatter like glass, glinting,
when she giggles like a girl.
See her shine.
As the shades of dark days rise,

See the years that grace her eyes,
like rays of her own sun
exponentially shining forth.
See forgiveness in her patient hands
as they weave memories with a touch.

See the breadth of her breasts,
unapologetic,
for they have quenched her children’s hunger,
soothed their frantic cries,
and became the safe haven for her beloved.

See her empty, scarred abdomen –
round and perfect in its imperfections,
once holding the essence of all things;
carrying creation within –
see the divine home of God.

See the innocent baby,
the impetuous youth,
the voluptuous woman,
the devoted wife,
the selfless mother.

See the wisdom of the grandmother –
the epitome of every moment lived
for someone else, and the realization
of the circle.
Hear the acceptance in her sigh.
See the gifts she has given –

see the woman!
See the goddess!
The beginning and the end!
See the infinite that bares the name,
Woman!

See her for all that she is and isn’t.
Smell her scent and know you are home.
Taste the strength of her words on your tongue.
Hear her experiences like your own.
To touch her soul is to touch perpetuity!

See her face in your mirror.

See the tears that fall proudly
upon the woman you’ve become,
and hope yet to become
                          in time;

when you have lived through all that has been
set before you –
tasted each woman’s tears as if they were your own.
When you enter that perfect union,
timeless ancestry;
when you become,
when you come
full circle;

you will see yourself in all things,
and your journey, will see you back

home.
