Unexpected events

My watch is broken, I can not wait for you to get here
The sun is heating,(I cannot believe) today, we're finally meeting.
I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna act or what I'm gonna say
But of one thing I'm sure, when you'll be in front of me, you'll take my breath away.

While I'm waiting, my mind is flying away
From the moment you'll get here, to the first move you'll make.
I just wish, this day to be perfect
I hope I'm ready for any unexpected events.

It's getting late and you're nowhere to be found
I'm getting all kinds of emotions, but is nothing I can do about..
The park is empty, looks like the rain is gonna arrive
I guess I should be going too, nothing makes me stay around.

Maybe you got stuck in traffic or you've just changed your mind,
Either way, I better go now, maybe we'll get to meet some other time..
And now my battery is dying, I have such a lucky day,
I don't think this day could get any better,
           >>no 'eff!n' way!!<<

Where should I go now? to the hotel or to a pub?
I'll get me something to drink before Imma call it a nite.
I don't find my card key, guess I'm losing my mind..
Huh?!
Who the 'eff' are you 'my friend'?
Why do you have to honk so loud?

    you: Hey!!!
    me: Gosh, you scared me!
you: Where are you going? don't we have a date?
me: Hey, you're the one that got here late.
you: Yeah, I'm sorrylook, I've been running all the way...
    me: CoolI'm glad you came.
I'm starvingwhere you gonna take me?
you: well, since our picnic is ruined, thanks to the coming rain.
lemme take you to my favorite restaurant..
    me: sounds greatOK.

While in the car, you've turned on the radio
And the silliest song was playing in the air
Smiling, you looked at me and started dancing
Gosh, you're amazing(that's what I said)

We've got to the restaurant
It's getting pretty hot
No sign of the rain now
Guess she just changed her mind.

When I stepped inside
My favorite song was playingso loud
And once you've heard it, you took my hand in yours and smiled
you: Hey, this is our song since now!!

Since then I got this feeling, this awesome feeling inside
I'm with the right person and the nite has just begun
You're full of surprises, beautiful and kind
For me you are so special, I'll roll my dice tonight.

Next thing I know, we were back in the car
The music was playing loud, you were driving too far
The last stop we've made, was at the hotel I'm staying
You grabbed me in your arms andand then's when it started.raining.

The weather gets colder, your hand is on my shoulder,
I ask you if you want to come and wait inside.
The fireplace is on, your clothes are on the stove
I bring you comfy clothes, while you're in the shower.

The rain is falling from the sky, the night is deep, looks black and white
I pour you a glass of wine while getting closer.
The electricity goes off, all of a sudden
We're in the dark, the music stops - I lit (up) a candle.

Looks like the rain has stopped now (or for the moment)
I pour you another glass of wine..
I touch your hand, you're grabbing mine
And pull me closer.

The last thing I remember, you were playing through my hair
I felt your (warm) breath down on my neck and I've kissed your shoulder
Slowly, you laid me down, on the floor, whispering something in my ear
Your fingers were walking down my spine, I've closed my eyes.that's when we've kissed.

We've spent the night together, sleeping in each other arms
I was your blanket, you were my pillow - the dawn was coming fast.
I woke up and.watching you sleeping
You found me smiling when you've opened your eyes.

Things went so fast - time was flying by
Only four days, until we say goodbye.
All the sand from the beach, the pictures framed in our minds
The scrambled eggs in the mornings, (all those) kisses (stolen) through the night.

While I'm counting the seconds, my mind is flying away
From the moment we've met, to the last thing you'll say.
I just wish, this day to last forever
I hope our story will never have an end.

In the airport, while waiting for our planes to come
Our silly love song was playing one more time
And once again, you took my hand in yours and smiled
That's when you've asked me, if I want to be.your wife.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS

Christmas Gifts

Christmas time was lonely for this young boy.
He lived a homeless life upon the street.
Remembering before, when life held joy,
Inside, warm and cozy near a hearth's heat.

Snowmen always seemed to share such delight
That he thought he would build one near each home,
Maybe joining in a fun snowball fight,
Always creating snowmen in the gloam;

Sweet surprise for families unaware.
Giving the only gift he could think of
In building each snowman he took such care,
For it was his kind way to share his love.

These gifts brought him such happiness to see
Smiles upon surprised faces filled with glee.

I'm my Daddy Made Over

Dedicated to my Dad Jerry WNiday 3/20/1952 - 6/18/2013

I am who I am because of him
He’s the reason for my son’s name
He gave me my courage & my strength
To stand tall even when standing wasn’t easy
Stand for the ones who can’t
To think and fend for myself
I’m my Daddy made over

Taught me to fight back
To never back down
How to pick myself back up
When I’ve been knocked down
Fight for what I believe
I’m my Daddy made over

He gave me my stubbornness
Gave me my pride
Gave me my temper
Taught me not to take crap
To speak my mind no matter who
Work for what I want
I’m my Daddy made over

How to keep my emotions in check
How to handle large amounts of pain
When in trouble he always had my back
He knew how my mind worked better than anyone
I got it from him
I’m my Daddy made over

Even though he’s gone
I’ll stand and continue on
I may stumble I may fall
May even get hurt along the way
But I’ll pick myself back up
I’ll dust myself off and stand tall
I’m honored and proud to say
I’m my Daddy made over

We Lost More Than a Dad

We lost more than just a Dad that day
We lost half of how we came to be
We lost we four girls first love
We lost our Best Friend

We lost more than just a Dad that day
Our Mom lost her Soul Mate, Her other half
Our children lost their Papaw
We lost our family’s foundation
We lost the glue that held us together

We lost more than just a Dad that day
We lost the Strongest man we ever knew
We lost the man we looked up too
We lost we four girls Teacher of many things

We lost more than just a Dad that day
We four girls lost our Hero
We lost some of our Light
We lost part of our Heart
We lost part of our Soul

We lost more than just a Dad that day
We lost some of our Courage
We lost some of our Strength
We lost some of our will to fight back
We lost some of our will to carry on
We four girls lost more than a Dad
We lost more than just a Dad that day

It Was the Third of June

June Second at the beach we played scrabble He protested the use of “ode” I told him of the “Ode to Billy Joe” With friends we laughed the entire way home And when they left, Daniel proposed He tied a string 'round my finger, said it would be replaced by a ring It was the Third of June (another sleepy, sandy Florida day) When Daniel picked me up for a dip in Dog Lake I suggested we swim across He was reluctant, but swam anyway Reaching the middle of the lake “I can’t make it,” he called to me “You’re kidding,” I laughed, turning to see Daniel splashing futilely Although I tried to pull him to shore, We crossed underwater plants He must have thought they were snakes and broke away Dark water with tannic acid Where did he go? I screamed for help The search was underway when paramedics arrived Linking hands, everyone walked into the water But it was Daniel’s friend Art who found his hand “It was like he was reaching out to me,” he said Of course, it was too late My sweet man had met his fate And I made a vow Every June Third, I drive out to Dog Lake Remembering the good times we shared And praying Daniel found eternal rest

Don't Cry

Please don't cry over my casket
For I am not there
Please don't cry at my grave
My soul has been set free
I know it's hard not to cry
I've been down that road one to many times

I have no more pain
I have no more sickness
And I would not change a thing
As I walk threw the gates of Heaven
Mom Dad our brothers and sisters
Will welcome me with open arms
Here I am free of that pain

Don't blame yourself
It was my time to go home
This is where I'm supposed to be
Don't dwell on things which you can not change
I will always be in your heart

I will always be watching over you
When that day comes for you to come home
I will be there to welcome you
With open arms
And walk you through the gates of Heaven
You will be greeted by our family & friends
Who came home before you
Until that day I will be watching over you

He Loved You

He loved you too, you know
Loved you like his very own
In away you were
You came into his life as my friend
Through the years you grew to be my brother in arms
Along the way you became the son he never had

He loved you as a friend
He loved you even more as a son
A son he never had
When things began to spiral out of control
You stayed when so many others ran away
You helped when I couldn’t

You meant a great deal to him
You never looked at him differently
Nor did you treat him differently
You stood by his side
When he fell, you stood by his side and mine
You were willing to help me fight his battle for him
You were there from the beginning
You were there until the bitter end
Always remember my friend, my brother
He loved you more than you’ll ever know

I Hate You Cancer

Dedicated to my Dad who lost his short battle w/ Colon Cancer on June 18,2013

I hate you Cancer
Your vile evil and cruel
You don't care who you hurt
I'll never forget that day
I'll always hate you for it

Your heartless Cancer
You took someone important from me
Someone important from others too
Took people who didn't belong to you
I hate you for it

You disgust me Cancer
You had no right to take him from me
He mattered more than my very own life
I hate you for taking my Daddy
I hate you for taking others too

I hate you with a passion Cancer
You took part of my heart with him
You took part of my soul that day too
I hate you for it
I hate you I hate you I hate you

I hate you with every fiber of my being
Go back to Hell where you belong
I hate you, others hate you
Your not welcome or wanted here Cancer

I hate you more than his doctor's
I hate you more than God
I hope I get to witness that day
Witness the day you fall
And you will fall Cancer

You're gonna lose the battle one day Cancer
I'm gonna laugh and dance around your grave
You'll finally get what you deserve
And you'll never be able to inflict your disease on another soul

Tell Me

I'm lost hurt and angry
Why did you take his life
I want, No I need to know
Tell me, Tell me why
I deserve to know

Haven't you done enough to him
What'd he ever do to you
He suffered his whole life
Suffered more than anyone deserved
Tell me, Tell me why you did it
I have a right to know

Why'd you let him born to them
Born to worthless parents
Parents who didn't care
They threw him away like garbage
Pawned him off on someone else
Tell me, Tell me why
Explain how you could do that

You gave him Polio
You let others treat him like disease
You took away the full use of his legs
You warped his hand and foot
Tell me, Explain to me why
I deserve to know

You let others think he was crazy
You let it go on for over year
You didn't stop it, Why
Tell me, Give me your reason
Answer me God, Help me to understand

You go and make matters worse
You gave him Cancer
You didn't give him a chance to fight back
You just jerked him away from us
Tell me, Tell me how
How you could be so cruel

How can others not question you
When others do it, It's murder
But when it's by your hand
It's your will, Their fate
Tell me, What makes you so different
Your no better than the demons knocking at the door

You heard me beg and plead
You know I'm not afraid to die
I was willing to carry it all for him
I was willing to take my Daddy's place
You didn't even let me say Goodbye
Tell me, Tell me why I couldn't take his place
Answer me God, you owe me that much

Home is Where the Ocean Is

Summer is here once again.
The breeze is warm,
I smell salt on the wind.
The same sandy beach between my toes,
The same waters I learned to swim.
Sun burn on my nose,
To the Ocean I dive in.
I submerse myself in the waters of the Atlantic
Warmer than the West Coast Thankfully
Cold, I simply cannot handle it!
Further out I paddle faithfully,
For my mother ocean to keep me sane,
this is my therapy,
to soothe this migraine.
This place gives me energy,
a weakness with a name.
Pleasure Island, NC.
A place hidden with fortunes
and undiscovered fame.
Never could I stray from the ocean
my passions would never be fulfilled
and I would never be the same.

Dedicated to my Dad on Father's Day 2013
The man who introduced me to the ocean and educated me about it and gave me reason to love appreciate and respect it.

Upon The Day - A Summer Dream

Pure love    drowning
in a garden of refrain
raging winds    pulsing
pushing out the drenching rain

A song of songs    awaits
as nerves climb the hill tops high
a final breath    as sunlight falls
upon the azure sky

My lovely rose
of silken light
in silent steps    I plea
in murmurous breath    I strain to recite
a heartfelt love to thee

If in this moment
this summer day
a love could be fulfilled
then surely my sweet Desiree
death would not prevail

Fathers Day

Every June it happens,
Big celebration that never ends.
This is their sunrise-to-sunset,
Should us to commemorate.

An attendant at night,
Attentive parent at light,
Presence never leave us,
In every challenges we have.

Greatest gift of all,
A huge thanks for all,
You're our and my loving father,
And I must say I love you.

Turning Towards June

May is exhaling
her last anticipated breath
And turning her face
towards June
June, sweet June,
The perfect month
For all loves to be consumed

When all those who have loved
Become fast lovers
When separated twos
Pledge to become eternal ones
Come what may
Never to be undone
One always loves a lover

But this June
that will not be me
I am still waiting
still waiting to see
Waiting to see
What if any
my love will come to be

Oceans still stand
between us
And although our love
feels as full as star-filled skies
There is still no he and I
No he and I together
Under the star filled skies
Not this June

Seasons

fall, the trickiest of them all,
is pretending
-again-
to have fallen in love with summer

taking her to dinner each evening,
giving her the room
to play during the day

summer, the purest of them all,
has fallen for all that
-again-
surrendering slowly her joyful soul

little does she know
perhaps sooner than before
she'll fall out of favor
-again-
once winter, the eternal lover of fall,
makes that call.

step back,

As I
play live

Though it
Is late
In June,
my soul
shall fly

With the

I feel

Is right.
Will you

IF YOU CAN HEAR

If you can hear, the Voices of Stars,
You can know, the longings of my heart,

If you can know, why they blink and call,
You can know, the feelings of my heart,

If you can hear, the singing of Stars,
You can feel, the love of my heart,

If you can see, their tears and smiles,
You can hear, the cries of my heart,

If you can feel, the love of their songs,
You can hear the voices of my heart,

If you can feel, their joys and pains,
You can surely, win my heart,

If you can feel, the joys of their songs,
Just come My Love and take me in your arms

Death, it is a sad way to go

Death, it is a sad way to go,
to leave this earth, dressed in your Sunday best
While faces surround you with tears
breaking the barriers of their emotions
tearing their hearts apart, looking down
upon my stone face, upon the face, lays a simplistic smile
that shows no emotion, no teeth, no life.
Death, it is a sad way to go.

People hurry, say their goodbyes,
but when your alive,
they never come around, they never call, they never even think
of you and how you are feeling.
While you walk the streets, with a smile on your face,
nothing but knives stick sharpe in my back and gossip
burns a hole in my soul and heart;
but I keep on walking and smiling.
I keep rolling on through like a summer hurricane
tears apart a coastal city in the heat of June weather,
Walking till death comes to shake my hand and grin at my soul.

Then as you lay their in your casket
with a buqouet of your favorite flowers, (Roses and Tulips)
they sit around you, the same faces, the same blind eyes
and they all shed tears and says good things.
Too late for that don't you think?
Death, it is a sad way to go, but what relief you get,
when finally departing in peace and leaving the drama
and careless people in your life.
After I am put six feet under, a week of crying passes,
After two weeks I am lost and long forgotten,
nothing but a stone at my cranium to keep me company
and my new friends, who sleep along next to me.
Dead and forgotten, but the dead never forget their fellow lost souls.
Only the living forget such souls that were so good to them,
now they are gone,
I am gone.
How do you feel, now that I am gone?

Death, it is a sad way to go, but what peace you recieve in Paradise.

        My love, is you
My love is pure of heart

With my love I won't shed tear to the cloud
My love is everlasting can't you understand me
My love is like some roaring ocean just to have you near
And with loves grace I abide by you
My love will go on as long as you will stay
With the stars that shine for us as long as you'll accept

The wind chimes ring to a summer’s breeze,

Wafting around, setting hearts at ease—
As wind chimes ring to a summer’s breeze
—The rain falls gently on the growing trees
        The old couple waits with bodies aching;
Hearing wind chimes ringing to a summer’s breeze—

THE END

A stolen glance
A sincere smile
A confused stare
A returned smile
...........................The beginning

A sincere heart
Seeking TRUE love
But a friendly stare
Sincere chat
None would dare
............................The Continuation

A rise in emotions
Distant communication
Sincere feelings
A sincere smile
A sincere heart
Vanishes to thin air
Just like that...

possibly later in the street
my sad voice by the symphony of Paris
because I sing the loneliness
and meditation on the long days
with the holy hope
for universal peace
for eternal liberty

between the two

one man wanted my heart
the other made it bleed
one man made me smile
the other made me plead

one took me for granted
while the other was fair
one man kept me crying
the other really cared

one man hurt me badly
the other made me blue
one left me in april
the other left in june

Little poem and a red gown

She wears nice clothes and waits for the next thing to happen
No more hospital beds or quarterly syndromes to cry
Now that you’re gone - she's divine and she's fine

Rags and traps are washed from the tears you drop
And she wears them in a ballroom as a beautiful red gown dress..
Before you tell her to stop

Waiting for the dark man to dance with her
Oh, what a beautiful and sorrow pain that flows
Fresh, new, assimilated

Lovely ballerina
White lily
Timid young man

They’re in love in the starry night
Admiring the sky together
Wondering if this time they’re right.

Bright eyes.
Sweet smile.
And their affection can finally climb and shine.

Will You

If I am there beside you, will you hold my hand,
kiss it with tender grace and with eyes that comprehend?
Will you touch my hair that fall on my cheeks
swept by air in perfume scent and fix?

Will you caress my lips with your finger tips
smoothen it as I blush in totally red?
Will you whisper words of love while your hands search my hips,
pulling me near you and hug me instead?

When heat mixed up and we feel the urging needs,
will you say, "I want you, Honey, need you for keeps",
And expect a tender kiss from you,
while I tiptoe to be more closer to you?

Will you run your hands like I do
as we go naked, in love so true?
Will you make love with me
as we imagine how it would be?

Will you...hmn...will you?
After I answered your question of
"Will you marry me, Honey, hmn?"
by "Yes, Honey, I will, I do!"?

Our Romantic Night In June

I'll turn off the lights, while you emit the moon, let's feel our bodies collide, this romantic night in June.
Softly, you appear as I turn on our song and memories rush backI am drawn to you like a magnetI am in love with you like no otherYour gentle and sweet scent I try to remember, and it becomes so clearI am the one; you are the oneIt's so late tonight, so dark...yet beautiful with closed eyes and romantic memories to be made. Traces of constellations soar through the sky as we lay on the quilt my mother made by handA wedding gift that will always be usedPlease feel my unconditional hands, and touch my longing faceI need you like I need water, as I will always crave your rain... Like dew on the grass, you cover me. Like petals on a tulip, you complete me. Like pebbles on a beach, you surface me, Like air in the sky, you surround me. Like a tide in the sand, you engulf me.
Intertwined like grapevines; two bodies…sharing one soul, one mindAs I express my deepest desires please know I'll need you until the end of timeYour beauty surpasses my need to be right, outweighs meaningless wordsFor what I feel cannot be caught by sight, only felt by my hands... -tonight. *never won in a contest* An Expression Of Love Contest July 29, 2016
