Sweet Citrus

I kissed July's hot tangerine lips
swam in cool aquamarine eyes
basked in blond and honey rays
dreamed in mango pomegranate sunsets
of lime hillsides and marmalade roses
Years of sweet citrus passed in golden hours

One day I woke
to find translucent eyes
in burnt sienna
as trees wept leaves
in burgundy and olive
Soon the eyes
were frozen in powder
Ashen shadows blew
across barren groves
of spindled spruce
and howled
with December's lonely moon
But from my fire lit window
I hold fast to memories
of daffodils and oranges
mingled with the burn
of lemon tears

Arouse Me

AROUSE ME

Enchant me
Serenade me
Touch me

Raise my temperature
Heighten my senses
Make me tingle all over

Apply your hands to my trembling body
Caress the heaving contours
Of my pliant body

Feel the rhythm of my passions
Boiling within
Explore all of what I have to give

Arouse me
Titillate me
Enhance my desire
Make me tingle with your soft kisses

Own me
Mould me
Control me

Free me of inhibitions
School me in desire
Pleasure me

It’s not all about me
But of you and I becoming we

There's a place whence children dwell amid fairy stories, popcorn rainbows & candied unicorns, which is fine & dandy except when you're supposed to be a grown-*** adult, some people live 'round La-La landscapes without a hint of reality's woefulness, unable to read skywriting on the cosmos If you believe in miracles or that nothing ever changes and love lasts forever and a day or just say, you got a damn ticket because your unicorn was inconveniently double-parked, rest assured thine meter is delusional

A Resplendence of Sunflowers

As brief as summer you swept
across my heart's desert
like a Santa Ana wind's hot caress.
Now the eastern passes
are still as virgin rocks
unto a land whispering
of forgotten wildflowers.
In your absence marigolds bloom not
with the disappeared mockingbird.
Only as the last petals
of amaryllis wither do I ache.
You brought me a translucence
of amber for my burnished bouquet.
Love was an ebullience of golden wheat,
our laughter a resplendence of sunflowers.

Arts and Crafts From Grains of Sand

Life is a smile of a newborn in mother's arms

Arts and crafts of stained glass from grains of sand

Freedom of a chick on its very first flight

Love of a mother scurrying beside a young fawn

Float on a lotus pond in style of white swans

Lyrics of nature scripted in nightingale's song

Painting in vermilion tints rising on meadows of fall

Rivers rushing down from spring mountaintops

Romance in lover's eyes watching a new dawn

Wonder in breath of a single-celled amoeba

Prematurely

Outside the rain-splattered window
winds whipped
tearing still-moist leaves
from their moorings
hurled to the ground
dying, like our love
prematurely
without a proper goodbye

Essential Spirits

She was like Bordeaux,
a tall drink of spirit
He was more a hopped
pale lager like Pilsner,
both gorgeous and
super gingered flavors,
although clashing mid
respective savored aplomb,
one so refined the other
rowdy after hours,
yet they complimented
each other in the way
they blended their
drunken demeanors,
intoxicated by mere
existence of nature's
essential complexities

Drifting Plankton

I was thinking
of you touching my belly
in one moment in time,
and me kissing your shoulder
in another.

I was thinking
of talk
and whiskey,
the sound of bass
and shyness.

I have no wishes.
I was just thinking
how it could be
if the world stayed round
but got so much smaller,
for only one room to be,
for you and me.

Our Full Moon

Tonight I bathe
   beneath your light
that's touched me
   once again.
Where in your glow
   I feel the flow
that runs inside
   my veins.
So cloudless sky
   please tell me why
my thoughts of you
   come and go?
On a night like tonight
   in the full moonlight
my howling love-
   cry echoes.

In Love

IN LOVE
-------------------------
Love is nectar.
Love is heaven.
Heaven like home, we always need
where soul ever smiles,
never feels tension.
In love,
you are my music,
I am your musician.

Love is trust.
Love is hope.
Hope hands success
after little failure
or without any flop.
In love,
Your are my ocean,
I am your raindrop.

Love is life.
Love is relation.
Relation can only be cemented
with mutual trust
and extreme affection.
In love,
You are my ink,
I am your pen.

Love is thought.
Love is brain.
With a sagacious brain
we can fly to our goal
without any pain.
In love,
You are my blood,
I am your vein.

Guilty Reflection

Looking dead at me in this smeared mirror...
a lost man
tormented
face red
brittle
and teared

stacking excuses
the longer I stare
this stress abuses
my conscience with a glare

a guilty reflection warns
my mind is the prison I fear
as I long to escape
from the hell I dwell in
right here

who have I become?
what have I done right?
crossroads appear suddenly
as fog fills the mirror tonight

darkness owning the room,
prefers I suffer slow
so I proceed with speed
because it’s the only way I know

tasteless stories
flood my life’s hard bound chapters
while this smeared mirror reflects tears
dripping from a face
which was once filled with laughter.

Gossamer Labyrinths' Agone Opulence

Once agone moments in time she was poetry in motion, 'til she pirouetted herself onto dusty versed shelves midst old clouded rhymes & recollected love notes yet, there lingered echoes glistening 'tween strands of web's interlacing design, meshing her finessed past within gossamer's complexed entanglements beyond labyrinths of anciently grand symphonies she dances, still ~ silently in her head flirting with destiny albeit, not quite as opulently

My Three Lovely Trees

Each spring when winter has trudged away, I love to drive up to my house and see my trees in bloom. The ornamental pear tree, so tall and dignified, is like a bride in a gown adorned with white florets. The ornamental plum tree stands stately too nearby, her limbs bejeweled in a myriad of amethysts. Behind them both, the cherry willow greets me with leafy swaying arms arrayed in petals pink. While her lower half hangs low, the top half of this tree reaches for the sky wearing charms of white like snow! Liquid Senses

Another unwanted
passes through memories
down mundane streets
suburbs undaunted

available liquid pass
tempted nostril senses
youth invaded stolen by
unpure pretenses

soft like shreds of life
tears of laughter
preserve treads
to a childhood lost to
hereafter

One Last Forbidden Kiss

Church bells were heard nearby

As minarets tall, made prayer calls

When they stood on war torn bridge

Parting with one last forbidden kiss.

Sirens of war were loud too,

But bombs much louder, blasted inferno.

Bridge collapsed, bodies shattered,

No voice dared to claim the silence.

Delicate Pink Clouds

Cathartic pinkness on wings of angel’s feet
Bring a lightness to the lake
She has never before felt.
Peppermint magic
Soft purple touches

Spiritual awakening
Heaven’s magic
Sky floods the lake with pureness
Godly feeling
Reverence and awe

Delicate pink clouds gather softly
Sharing love with forest
Saturating nature
Soft cathartic feeling
Showing God’s love for nature

Dignity

across rooms gust strong winds
emptiness without formed cracks

shook narrow confines
from the darkness within

indeff,rent,rent songs
nostalalqiques dreams
attentive inhumane screams
desire to belong

to accept dignity
speak sweet
accept defeat and
smile throu tormented peace.

Bitter Sips

I lay to waste
The sweetest lips
And drink to taste
The bitter sips

I close my eyes
To the beautiful face
And dream the lies
Away without a trace

I chose to stray
From the heart I hold
And put it away
Like the clothes we fold

I live with pain
From what I’ve done
And grasp in vain
Nothing under the sun….

I Love You, Friday

I Love You, Friday

This is one of God’s exquisite days,
Like a spilled bag of twinkling pastel jewels,
A sweet breeze as if from a child blowing bubbles,
The songs of many birds trilling their wonder.

The fresh scent of summer grass newly mowed,
Flowers reaching, smiling at a winking sun.
Baby cotton clouds floating, drifting to and fro,
Sifting heaven’s perfumes upon His earth.

In the distance a cheerful canine's bark is heard,
As if thanking our Lord for his gifted bone,
And I, with my swelling heart of gratitude,
Enjoy a book – on my deck – at my home.

About A Cat

A cat looks outside
  There are squirrels to see
  Then she spots a cat
   Sitting on the deck

   He starts to meow
   Louder to be heard
   They paw each other
   At the glass doorway
   Then they start to chat

   This happens often
   The man opens door
   The cat comes inside
   Goes to the female
   Near her he lays down

   He never leaves here
   She is contented
   They found their soulmates
   Happy together

Up Above

the sun
    journeying
through
the heavens:
an early
  appearance of the moon
at dusk:
a star
   so bright,
birds
  in flight,
the night..
the night..
love
 poured
    down...
...
to surround..
and
change
a world below
