As Flowers Crumble Collaboration with Silent One

Lullabies through tear filled eyes
It's truly, love at first sight
The bond is forged and galvanized
To hold forever tight

Each time you needed a hand
She always had one free
From then on, when in demand
As soft as she needed to be

No sacrifice was too great
A patient answer to every, "why?"
That look when you came home late
When you didn't come home, she'd cry

As flowers begin to crumble
your eyes look tired and hands so frail
Breaks my heart to see you stumble
as tears fall with your skin so pale

No one can ever take your place
nor replace your angelic love
Your life is full of prestige grace
precious beauty like a white dove

Mum's sweet words flow like a fountain
such wisdom will always live on
Her love conquers the highest mountain
fills me with pride to be her son

Newborn Flowers

A broken heart
who humbly cries
As the flames began melting
tears hidden under the seabed

Sizzling hot a trail
sparkles into the night sky
love comes in colors
that kisses burn passion

Following your starlight flooding
memories are forever made pure
Even if you are not here
I can feel your warm breath

Winking to the soul dream of dreams
Together we can build a future palace
one without fear and pain
Destiny will be eternities shooting arrow
Catching many rainbow on our roads path
Cupid strikes flying saucers land in your space
wondering if things will ever be the same again
Captivating an angel strums tugging heartstrings

Do you hear still the melody
to the most beautiful song playing
Warmly exploring deeply touching tunes
Covering the bed with rose petals

Music plays a heartfelt chant sighs
I miss you dearest flower forever more
just like the desert misses rain
Whispers held on a cloud of breath beautiful

Flowers In Your Hair, Gold Dust On Your Trailing Gown, Robert Lindley and Nicola Byrne

Flowers In Your Hair, Gold Dust On Your Trailing Gown
( Robert Lindley and Nicola Byrne )

Flowers in your hair, gold dust on your trailing gown
You my true sky angel, had floated right on down.
Golden sandals on your feet, toenails glowing white
All eternity shan’t see a prettier sight.
Your soft and gentle voice, a million ways of sweet
Your touch is my hope and your kiss, love-food to eat.
Each moment a true blessing, you my darling gave
Each dance your gift, healing treasures, my heart to save.
Love of my life, sing softest hymns to this lost soul
For before you came, sorrows took a heavy toll.
Know darling, this heart and spirit you have thus healed,
Should fate deny us, with love, truth has been revealed.

Now every balmy breeze that blows against my skin,
Resonant of your kisses, brings a joyous grin.
In the sun’s warm splendour, a halo I doth see
Shine upon the waters, where love’s eyes swim to me.
And every now and then, blessed with rains from above,
I feel your tender touch, the glory of your love.
Your scent, like fragrant blossoms, straight from heaven’s lawn
Exhilarates the senses, waking me each dawn.
Firm witness is the world, to thy healing powers
and graceful presence, bringing halcyon hours.
All that I envision, to turn around a frown:
Flowers in your hair, gold dust on your trailing gown.

Wooing the Artist With Flowers

Words are merely thoughts to keep flowers company;

Pictures you can hang in your hall.

But the faces of these blossoms,

Slightly jealous of your smile,

See well past the obstacles you have stored there.

There is tenderness in their contemplation of the grayness in your eyes.

And they mutter amidst the clutter,

'tis not the speed that makes the journey, but the direction that you choose’.

Whilst welcoming the warmth from your hands as you arrange them.

Yellow Flowers

You made me love yellow flowers
in the middle of July,
when everything was dying
because the ground was so dry.

You offered them to me
with the faintest smile on your face,
caressed the lemon petals
as you put them on display.

I looked at them quizzically,
questioning there presence.
You embraced me with laughter,
said they’re my essence.

You told me a short story
of blossoms and blooms,
and strength and survival,
in the midst of gloom.

And I fell in love with yellow flowers
because of the story you shared,
and I cherished their sunshine,
and the meaning they bared.

And then they were gone.

Along with you
and your stories and smile.

No laughter or embrace.
No petals or blooms,
sunshine or lemons.

The ground was dry
and cracked
and barren.

And I was alone,
with just a fading scent
and drifting memories.

You made me love yellow flowers,
then you took them away.

I'll be there at night with flowers

A knot to remind me
to buy you flowers
every day you stay

You gave me your smiles on a dare
asking only that I give one in return
a simple fare that I happily paid for

A note to remind me
to say those words
at night in your sight

You promised me your soft figure
will always be there in the morning
the bigger part I will be there at night

A dream to remind me
how you are my strength
my fantasy you and me

You took away the pain that turned
me against myself hating who I was
and burned the sin from my soul

A ring to remind me
how you saved me
I don't have to know why

enticing flowers and hearts

that first peep of the crocus breaking through frozen earth longer hours of sunlight bulbs drawn by brief sensations of warmth like hearts that had lingered in frozen graves waiting for gestures of kindness ice melting, exposing vulnerability enticing daffodils, hyacinths, lilies often emerging too early late frosts wilt blooms premature buds succumb to April chills no headstones, no names only hope remains perhaps next spring a longer lifespan awaits hearts and flowers willing to face uncertainty again

April's last Flowers

April's last Flowers

I was watching carefully
The last stems
Of April's Red flowers
Which were spreading their beauty and smile
Unconcerned with the destiny
That after April
There would be almost no such flowers
Of red Lily
For another one year.01

The flowers were smiling
As if, it makes no difference to them
Whether, they would be here or not
When the hot winds of summer
Would try to wither and make dull
The beauty and grace
Of every human face
As often they succeed in withering
The beauty of flowers and life
That exits and breath
Without the love drops of life giving water.02

The last flowers of April
Were also unconcerned
That they would shrink and would get dried
By the heat and dust of summer
In the days to come
When the scorching Sun would
Burn the Earth, Sea and Water
To create the wonders of rains
For thirty lands and sky of the earth.03

What a great way to live life
Was prevailing
In these smiling last flowers of April
Alas! If only humans can understand
How to live a life with the pleasure of love
And get lost forever
Without the worries of tomorrows.04

The flowers were enjoying
Every moment of their existence
With the butterflies and black bees
Which were hovering on them
Since day one
And were trying to please and praise them
To win their hearts
Like men praise and please the women
When they want to attract and win their heart05

The hovering butterflies and bees too
Were trying to show their love
To all the beautiful flowers of April
Before the alluring beauty of these flowers
So that these alluring flowers
May allow them to come close and kiss them
In the flowering season of spring.06

Every time these symbols of love
The black bees, butterflies and
Even the little black tiny bird
Were coming close
To kiss and to touch the petals of flowers
They were charging with a new energy
After getting the love drops
From their beloved red flowers
And they were flying
More and more high in the sky
Perhaps to touch the those lofty heights
Which can only be seen
When nectar like love drops
Creates its magic on these searching lips
Filling it with the energy of love
Which get reflected in every new flight
Of these beautiful creatures
When they fly from one flower to another07

And I was watching silently
With a Camera in my hand
While witnessing
The last of these April flowers
To catch the glimpse of
Any of these memorable moments.08

Their silent game of nectar and pleasure hunt
Continued in that bright sunlight
As more and more new creatures
Were coming to please and to win their beloved
Standing there with its ravishing beauty
So that, they may welcome them
With a smile and beauty
And may allow them to taste
The nectar of these red beauty and love
Which starts pouring it's magic
With the approach of April
In spring every year09

Flowers die,Pictures fade

I wrote this in memory of my uncle.

Flowers die and pictures fade,attempting
to erase every memory ever made.

Letters are lost while the clouds roll in,
letting the rain pour and the sadness begin.

Feelings are lost and people pass on,showing
us we're the one's who have to be strong.

GOD gives us strength to keep our head held high,
not letting the wonders of the world pass by.

Love everyday and you will see, miracles
happen when you believe.

Nothing can stop you from living your life,
even when the pain cuts like a knife.

Some family we've lost and some still remain,
leaving only love and happiness to be gained.

Some memories fade while the best never die,
leaving you with feelings of wanting to laugh and cry.

People make the biggest impact without even trying,
then everything changes when they are dying.

Ton's of faces get lost in the crowd,
to your surprise certain one's stand out.

GOD gives you love and never leaves you alone,
providing a loving family along with a good home.

Life will bear obstacles and put you to the test,
but you have to be strong and always try your best.

Never back down from any hardship thrown your way,
it will make you stronger until your last day.

Say what you feel in your heart and never back down, even
when your taking your last breath take one last look around.

Angels are singing a song only you can hear,
complete the last part with an open heart,
and absolutely no fear.

Flowers will die and pictures will fade,
but your memory is one that will always stay.

In Loving Memory of my Uncle
                                             You will be missed dearly.

Plastic Flowers

I just thought as I looked at the table,
to love I am no longer able.
I look at the vase,
take a second look just in case.
It came to me,
our so called love I now see.
Our love may be fake but forever will last,
despite our troublesome past.
Plastic flowers I stare,
not real but who would care.
Our love is as fake as the flowers,
to revive you would need powers.
Yet fake flowers need no tending,
and love you are not sending.
You can just leave them their,
forever they'll last not needing air.

When Flowers Die

When flowers die, they die slowly-edge by edge the petals curl,
still, silently, without complaint....

Unlike us, cut flowers should be let go before the first tinge
of death while they are yet radiant in deepest color.

We, however, must stay alive long, long past our first bloom--
till we have crinkled and brutishly browned with excess time.

Yet we have what flowers have not: our love for them
dies with them while our love for our beloved blooms,
more resplendent with long years, lasting past the fading,
lasting past even death itself....

Flowers In Her Hair

Never met anyone so true
Love all the gentle things you do
Hand in hand we walk for hours
You bend down gently, pick me pretty flowers

I wear them proudly in my hair
When I’m with you I float on air
I adore the way you caress my skin
Kiss my willing lips on a crazy whim

Make me laugh with a silly joke
Say words as softly as a butterfly's stroke
These things you do because you care
I hope forever you will always be there

Life’s twists and turns can cause us pain
With you I’ll dance in the pouring rain
You kiss away my salty tears
Hold me close, allay my fears

Rainbows and dreams are now in my life
Losing you now would cut like a knife
My life I share with you my love
You’re an angel sent from heaven above

Queen of flowers

Underneath the currents shifting sand
turning over tides touch waves salted

Moonlight of a silver whisper echoes
Standing still time breathless satin silk baited

Velvety white rose of purity dancing on air nods
your petal softness opens out from the heart claimed

Fairest in the garden beauty upon thorns sits
sweetly scented in a summer fragrance kissed

When the sun awakens entering your colour shines
crowned by the dewdrops of morning warmly blessed

Blue Flowers

Soft tantalizing petals
Of the perfect flower
Giving peace and calmness
Over life’s ongoing agony
Hope brings a mind’s eye
Visions of love’s heart
Talks of simple past
Greater than perfection
Living an unpredictable life
Not knowing where you’ll be
Showing unpredictable feelings
Hoping that you’ll soon see
The moon’s penetrating rays
Lighting the cool night air
Filling the heart’s emptiness
With something that cares
Love is a needful thing
Holding fast and true
Forever will it sing
A tune greater than blue…

A Garland of Flowers

I wove a garland of flowers
A garland full of love
Beautiful stars fallen on the green carpet
I collected and wove
The dew drunk red rose amongst
The daisies so white
The heady jasmine round them
I wove into a ring
The tiny blue bells danced around
The lily’s unstained beauty
Yellow wild flowers peeped from under
The vibrant petals of marigold
Then into this ring I wove
My love and desires
And held it against my heart
For him when he’d come near

Wild Flowers

I look out the window
Morning dew rests upon
the wild flowers
A tear rolls down my face
I imagine you
wiping it away
As you have so many
times before
But you are no longer
The suns rays dry the
dew on the wild flowers
Still, my tears remain
I thought it was forever
But you left
Just after the rain.

Flowers In The Ocean

Still naked
small speck burning
double clicked attention
wading through the light

free fall fasting
lying half asleep

Vinyl wraps round the beauty
meanders with the breeze
grasping for a sleeping angel
found lost in perfect harmony

Slipping through the window
heading for your seams
breathing curiosity
hidden in your dreams

free falling fast
lying half asleep

Filling up tomorrow
such a pretty being
flowers in the ocean
such a pretty thing

Flowers and Love (Cornish Verse I-I)

I came with flowers and love,
just to see my maiden fair,
with the silver moon above,
I could do nothing but stare.

Her eyes cast a magic spell
and held me at her leisure.
I knew then I'd walk through hell
to bring her heart its pleasure.

Simple flowers

My heart keeps asking what you meant
When without much fanfare you said

You don't like the fancy bouquet
Born of our prosperous days,

For you still love those simple flowers
I used to give you when we were poor.

I don't know how to tell you my dear
Flowers too have evolved over the years,

And this may be a good time to assure you
The vase so genuine, has never wavered.

Blooming With Flowers

The flowers bloomed this morn sun drenched, love permeated a bright blue vision pierced my eye   the winds shifted ever slightly so grabbing my attention and view with her boundless and beautiful sky   brightness gripped then lingered   in the newness of dawn greeting with a vigor and a song that played softly in my heart   style gave way to form grasses bent and lilacs swung colour bursts grazed my cheek as Monday up and swirled   the dew turned and kissed my being a crisp chill concealed and contained in every feel   thoughts hesitated then hushed you entered and eased my mind blooming with the flowers ever pretty,  you're just too kind

there's not a flower
can't grow wild
thrive neglected and ignored
but how much better
some can do when caged
tied to stakes
and pruned
their buds collected
to encourage growth
the sun, the rain, the earth
and care and harvesting
no less important
to renew the bloom.

Sensual Hearts and Wilted Flowers

You're the flame around my heart,
am I still your smile
when we're apart?

As you leave your flame flares up,
but when I look into your face,
I miss your lack of smiling place.

If you're my fire
where were you before my first flame?
What were you before in me?

After your last flame
returns from where it came
what remains but primal memory?

Although our flames elapse and change,
consume and exhale in recessed waves,
are you this same fire
from first consuming flame
through our last expiring rest?

Other than your warm body
of Earth's wavey-rational co-gravitation,
how are we not the same fire
I watched expire last night?

How do fire storms and tsunami,
earthquakes with family landslides,
measure life's self-reflective Time?

Our flame of hearts
hide co-viral souls
all the same
in some primal ways,
yet more interested in our difference
through other times and sacred places.

Heartflow space
as nature's species
emerging fertile trends
with despairing ends,
encultured Trees of Life
as discultured Root Systems of DeComposing Death,
inducing memories of good flame health
interrupted by time's double-present boundary,
pathology of absent loss of breath.

Is this how our flame of love
is sacredly Sun's same zero-Soul?
yet mundane nature's
more uniquely DNA identified
absence of warm love
and peaceful pastures?

Flames co-arise up and down
to up and out evolve again
