- Is Not Hard To Love You -

Wrought in silver confession of faith and love

Completely engulfed in romantic flames

No one knows that your lips understand what it means

Higher than the soul ~ a dream within a dream

The blessed birds sing about freedom and joy

A one - way ticket with the train of love

Pink flamingo in fiery dance

Two hearts full of strength and hope

 ... Love

     and

     be

     loved

     in

     return

Return

Standing on my balcony
Awaiting your return
off in the distance
one little cloud floats
like a pink feather
from some giant flamingo

Return to me lover
I will share the secret
that the sky is the sea
and the clouds are
the souls of happy ships

My love come to me
as the sky turns orange-red
off towards New Orleans
because I love you so
I am on cloud nine
and I am floating

Autumn Fire

The Forsythia is aflame
Delight runs once again
The red oak draws strength to ignite
Love bellows a refrain

A red-orange dress over brown
Leggins' so tight a shame
Dancin' the flamingo about
Town, autumn fire untame

Falling, falling into a flamin'
Fire, love, love's wild desire
And it burns, burns autumn's
fire, deeper lovers mire

Until at last love goes sour
Another comes, separates
From the ashes a spark ignites
Dancin' again on date

Twin Flames

Ebullient flames dancing with ineffable measure under night's quiet penumbra
A union of flamingo necks wound together by an eternally bound conundrum
Their fires roar soft as they tenaciously whisper life into each others' capture
To lose one light would darken the iridescent symphony of ever-loving rapture

Their bodies scorch as two breaths of silk filament coalesced in tight embrace
Their unity arouses somber thoughts and infuses them with epiphany and grace
Forever lit by the succulent air they consume and the decadent light they exude
They endlessly blaze love's eternal sketch as twin hearts unable to be subdued

Sonnet 5, Awaken To a Reddish Haze, Shakespearean Form

Nocturne shadow, rise with the Flamingo
charmed by the sunrise a morning sky smiles.
hushed morning song whispers at my window.
Prone on the pillow; love the outer isles.

Daydreams wander; my fan begins the day
sands twinkle like brilliant diamonds sparkling
Winds blow the deep blue waters on the bay.
Tea's steeping as the teapot is whistling.

Old cat yawns awake in the morning light.
dandelion seeds float by with the breeze
grass flows serenely terns hover in flight
waves rise higher on Lanai's southern seas.

Kilauea rumbles the Big Islands shore
I see a reddish haze from my back door.

Morocco and Black Olives

And swallow are of love
the silky horizons
hit by a wing
of pink flamingo.

And the weeds are with deep
roots,
drawn water
of secret wells.

Careless was the wind,
carried off in hollows
tenderly
all kind of visions of
color.

Now the time is of the sand,
crossed the life-giving river.
And blows only wind from
Sahara.

Breakfast Before Daybreak

Her lips are as pink as the plume of a flamingo,
Her eyes are like fair, seasoned pine apples.
I love her.
Her curves are like annular eclipse, a sable daybreak.
I love her.
And her skin is the vanilla of a maple leaf in summer, but a sexier color,
I want to touch her.

The Heart and the Flamingo

I saw a heart on a Large pink to scarlet web-footed wading bird with down-bent bill,
The heart was pink and so very hard to see, but I knew it was there,
Because it was in my little Minnie’s smile.

Her favorite long sleeved shirts have hearts on them,
Underneath she wears a short-sleeved cotton one; for comfort,
Today's undershirt had the wading bird on it!

4 years old, happy with her
Heart and Flamingo and Playful smile.

Cherry Blossoms

"In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous." Aristole

pink
snow flakes
blush en mass
fragrant feathered
flamingo clouds flock
in arms of babbling spring
wrapped in peach shades of soft dream
petals spreading pristine shimmer
enchanting florid dress, poised princess
in pretty cherry trees pure love blossoms

My Flamingo Flame

The palm trees sway in sunset charm
                                    to revel in your grace
Their shadow covers breathlessly
                                  in gentle, verdant lace

In hues of every shade of pink
                                         a delicate tableau
You stun with every vision, more
                             than you could ever know

Such fascination understood
for who or what could blame
You fill my heart with majesty
                                  oh, my flamingo flame

Mystery of Love

Firecrackers bursting tare,
New years, new tear...

Burst the durst,
Accurst in an outburst,

Rainfalls witnessing the tough times,
Outfalls are the rough mistimes...

A go to his ego,
Forego the flamingo,

Bye to a lovely lover, my heart...
Eyes are gravely over, my harte...

Broom, a bloom in his room,
Groom, a doom in his darkroom...

Departing

Weaving I'm embroidered quilt on sky roof
Flamingo dancing with rapturous rains
Wild ink replacing the dove quills with proof
For your one night standing in the dream train

Lamppost of the dark streets drinking cool beer
Wayward dogs child supporting alone life
Searching for your scent I lost own manner
Where cheap whore pouring in heart glass a strife

On the boastful yard of time I'm naked
All stars on the friendship wave going far
Painting of pangs bleeding in the wound head
Departure feelings giving me just jeer

Wide, I'm wide alone in the crowded town
Train of the love leaving for a lot down

Doctor Do So Ray

a remarkably clever young blue jay
had colorful feathers like egg faberge'
he was beautiful, amazingly gay
I saw him for the first time last Wednesday

Did not hear his name, but I think it was Ray
Did not preen or boast like the human Jay
His pretty feathers had a bit of fray

He has a reputation said neighbor May
Females love seeing him fly and sashay
I first met him at the Flamingo Bay
He has formed a mob that likes to laugh and play

I ran down to the bay to try and see Ray
I had heard that he sometimes is their Deejay
Have you heard him? Asked a family named McVey.
His radio persona name is Doctor Do So Ray.
