All In All, True Magnificent Treasures Given

All In All, True Magnificent Treasures Given

Luscious the fruits, beautiful under moonlit beams
firmly planted roots, outstandingly hot, lush-sent dreams
all in all, glorified visions, heavenly sent
treasured deeply with rapture stored, sweet love-nights spent.

Tender kissing bites, honeyed dessert offered free
wonderful the flights, through blossoming forests of trees
all in all, miracles were given, lost soul found
in resplendent nights, covering soft virgin grounds!

Gold fairy dusted, jeweled eyes sending bright smiles
each promise trusted, an angel with no dark wiles
all in all, true magnificent treasures given
gracefully sent, in true-deep bliss, purely driven.

Beneath plum skies starlight glistening in her eyes
I see all I desire, and I do fantasize -
looking into her goddess blues, crystal gazing;
of our wild delight to be forever blazing.

In Eden’s solitude we dance to soft sighs of
waltzing wind-songs’ stirring verses promising love
with lilting whispered melodies so inspiring
my appetite for her wanton and untiring.

Ancient woodland’s moon casts smitten luminescence
breathtaking in beauty she outshines its presence
ecstasy flows an intoxicating river
inebriating essence in love’s deliver.

Your vivacious beauty enhanced by golden rays
illuminating your grace with a loving gaze
with ardent reflection of my phantom desire
to allow the pledge of love finally transpire.

Two common souls released from infernal abyss
to engage a rendezvous with heavenly bliss.
Together our spirits soar to realms of delight,
two lost souls united in the fading twilight.

With a chapter closing in reverie’s accord
we share a secret paradise of love’s award.
All in all, wondrous senses of passion recall,
from heart to soul we reminisce, as love is all.

Poetry Pillar

When Light needed a body to behold, and color to kiss,
as Darkness dreamnt to die in the dawn of depth,
when Soul lustered to lust for learning, and being learned,
as blood bespoke to bones for building a star of flesh,
when Time needed the umbrage of it's ubiquity to be understood,
the moment texture tempted touch to tease with a thousand sensations,
when laws of love sought a language to express the extremes of it's lips,
as romance rampaged through the ravishings of famished hearts,
when the seduction of sorrow made heros of loving men and women,

When Justice appealed to the instincts of intent for inscriptions of innocence,
as bravery found battle in basic questions of survival and conquest,
when war demanded a metaphor in the terror of it's diligent destruction,
as Faith found resolve in seconds small along with giant gestures,
Death singing melancholoy for sympathy and Life haughty upon it's horizon,
when Angels chose to wear albatross of gold to feel the rue of rogues,
as the most perfect woman ambushed the ideals of rumored beauty,
when God wanted imagination to create immaculate reality
Poetry began, born in the instant of forever Art,
because, the only promise of a Poet, is Passion -

Remembered In Thy Full Bloom,Collaboration by Robert J Lindley, Teppo Gren and Michael P Clark

Remembered In Thy Full Bloom
A Collaboration By,
Robert Lindley, Teppo Gren
and Michael P Clarke.

Thou art remembered in thy full bloom,
a rose grown within my garden of life.
Thou art lost to me and this my doom,
Gone the tender love of my precious wife.

Ill wind had blown, poisoned arrows of fate,
love lost, ever I cry, we reunite.
Tho', should such be only at Heaven's gate,
illuminated, in true love's precious flight.

Thine effect so lives in my lonesome cast
as I meander in my ruthless path,
in darkened dust of my ill-fated past,
dying to break free from this endless wrath.

Yet memories sighs they recall our love,
when we did caress love's fiery desires.
In wondrous passions our hearts flew above,
Thou art memories ghost, kindling love's fires.

Pray I, your dream-winds soft and fair tonight,
eager heart leaps to melt in beauty's glows.
With yellow-moon kisses, all could be right,
our love's truth, written in destiny's scrolls.

As lonely spirits found love's true accord,
thy gentle soul caressed my heart with joy.
It was thy gracious beauty I adored,
for endless days thy soft caress enjoy.

Thou comest beloved, love for to bring,
thy wondrous beauty, darkness doth dispel.
In divinity thy heart it doth sing,
one moment of joy my heart did foretell.

Within each heart's spirit, desire to come
pray future treasures that announce their glow.
Thy touch, paradise in love's kingdom,
may we with grace, beg our romance to grow.

The light of life returned from dust to dust
be it not my destiny to abide,
and side with mortal ways in life unjust,
with a forlorn dream to be by my side.

Now back to the terror of my dark night,
once more into the pits of hell I fall.
Despair and sorrow darken God's bright light,
Deaths promised joys shall come, I hear death call.

Pray true, warmth and true color to the rose,
return pure gleam that sent my heart to thee.
Wherein all time, forever thee I chose,
thou art ripest flower, I thy lone bee.

Rejoice in death to treasure thine embrace
as end is nigh, with courage to depart.
A halo uncovers thy beauty's grace
to cast celestial light, and mend my heart.

And now doth come my end, I see death's light,
death doth touch my heart, now eternal love.
My beloved, I see thee shining bright,
I now praise death as I ascend above.

As my life's last shadow so swiftly falls,
pray I, this aching soul hears thy dear voice.
Ancient echoes whisper love words, thy calls,
now dear wife, I fly forth, your love my choice.

In heaven‘s garden thy rose blooms in trine,
as love’s eternal bond in sacred love
is cast beyond the faith of God’s design,
and prayers of truth are whispered up above

Notes:

This poem was written to try and find the sadness of a man lost in deep despairHis only escape are those small moments when his memories sigh his beloved to himHe is ready to welcome death so he can be with and hold his beloved againDeath will be a release.

I want to thank Micheal and Teppo, for the great pleasure it has been to
engage in this three way collaboration! Both for giving me such exquisite verses to write to and with...
I know this poem is long and took us a long time to complete, but to me it is well worth it
As I could not be happier or any more proud of what our combined efforts have thus created.
I hope this fine poem gifts and pleases those that read it.For such is the reward that any poet should hope for.
Mike and Teppo, my good friends may God bless you both..

Gentle Summer Rain

She writes about Fall's beauty in the rain
The falling raindrops' dance ascribing thence
Bespoken verse that lightens her refrain
before the time they met - her steps commence

She listens to the soft and rhythmic thrum,
her love turned to escape and cloudy string
Where nimbus mistletoe fell, tears to become
Their kiss of Autumn was symbolic ring

The first light cotton mists with summer rays
While skyward cheerful laughs adorn the land,
their ceremonial dance diffuses grays,
affectionate embrace, where dreams expand

Upon September's sky the raindrops gleam
With half of hidden Sun to laugh and beam.

Pearl of a great price

Dancing with the sunbeams deep sea reflections
so beautiful adoring on cloud nine sitting pretty
upon golden sands shifting salt of the ocean turns

Each wave a blessing in disguise
standing regal one moment in time
looking back captivating starlight was born

Mirrors mist over arched jewels colour radiance
fixing thoughts on an image beholding your word
no diamond ever cut comes close to you

Thy Silent Thoughts

Thy Silent Thoughts

So beautiful are thy silent thoughts
I would watch thine eyes all day.
There is wonder in them, as the sun's first flash
Through tumult of ocean spray;
In them the shining calm of upland pools
Mirrors the glory round,
And their shadows are the shadows of sweet flowers
Upon the summer ground.
So beautiful are thy silent thoughts
I would watch thine eyes all day;
More beauteous in their silence than the stars,
Than the silent stars, are they.

Flowers In Your Hair, Gold Dust On Your Trailing Gown, Robert Lindley and Nicola Byrne

Flowers In Your Hair, Gold Dust On Your Trailing Gown
( Robert Lindley and Nicola Byrne )

Flowers in your hair, gold dust on your trailing gown
You my true sky angel, had floated right on down.
Golden sandals on your feet, toenails glowing white
All eternity shan’t see a prettier sight.
Your soft and gentle voice, a million ways of sweet
Your touch is my hope and your kiss, love-food to eat.
Each moment a true blessing, you my darling gave
Each dance your gift, healing treasures, my heart to save.
Love of my life, sing softest hymns to this lost soul
For before you came, sorrows took a heavy toll.
Know darling, this heart and spirit you have thus healed,
Should fate deny us, with love, truth has been revealed.

Now every balmy breeze that blows against my skin,
Resonant of your kisses, brings a joyous grin.
In the sun’s warm splendour, a halo I doth see
Shine upon the waters, where love’s eyes swim to me.
And every now and then, blessed with rains from above,
I feel your tender touch, the glory of your love.
Your scent, like fragrant blossoms, straight from heaven’s lawn
Exhilarates the senses, waking me each dawn.
Firm witness is the world, to thy healing powers
and graceful presence, bringing halcyon hours.
All that I envision, to turn around a frown:
Flowers in your hair, gold dust on your trailing gown.

IF

IF

If you can help others fulfill their dreams
And your heart ever seeks far greater Light
If you hold true, evade life tempting schemes
 And with honor, you sleep in peace at night;
If better Life and true Love are your goals
And every day you give your very best
If you reject dark lusts, their heavy tolls
And try to give others their needed rest:

If your family, its love is your rock
Your spirit will dance with dearest of hope
If you do not wither from life's hard knocks
 And you endeavor to expand mind's scope;
If kindness, is steady shield you embrace
And in its warmth, your soul chooses to bask
If you find courage's truth, is no disgrace
And ever seek to learn more when you ask:

If you embrace Nature, its awesome gifts
Seek sanctuary in its sweet abode
If gentleness is your key that uplifts
 And you reject evil you have been sold;
If in this life, you hold your head up high
And wake each new morn with thankful delight
If heart's sincere love you do not deny
You will find its blessings forever right!

If in times of sorrow you dare not fold
And with brave heart face darkest of sorrows
If years flow, you find you are very old
 And you can face shortness of tomorrows;
If your past brings with it a certain pride
And your memories hold that Life was sweet
If from Light's shining truths you do not hide
Heaven's gate, your loved ones you will greet!

She's Wet

I took her hand at sweet sixteen
Kissed her on the cheek
The clouds looked down
We were about to be drowned
No umbrellas to protect our dreams

I held her hand
As we ran and ran
Raindrops kissing our cheeks
I gazed up at her delicious peeks
I said sorry sweet, do not cry

A tear she shed
As she bled
Her love was cut in two
She looked at me, as if to plea
Shivering she said, don’t mind me I am wet

Wipe away my damp memories

You Know I Love You

Winds may howl,
Wild animals growl,
The forest grows cold,
For I am lonesome and old
As the sun peaks through the clouds,
I hear your soft, young voice so loud!
And though you speak dead man's lines,
You speak them with majesty divine
As I am wrapped in my woe,
I only want you to know...
...that roses die black and violets lose blue,
But I will never die
And you know I love you!

The Holy Dust of Creation's Seed Sown

The Holy Dust of Creation’s Seed Sown

Born from this ancient dust of creation's seed sown now so true,
Whilst sparkling inside a mystical divine light on this dark night,
I’m nourished from the living waters—the oceans deep and blue

Majestic wings rise high in the waves basking in Heaven’s light,
Crowning the blest halo golden ring around this angel very dear,
Whilst I kiss warmly the salt of the deep oceans stirring at night

Spiced now in a seabed, a rainbow’s gem shineth pure so clear,
That a traveler in this radiant world of delight knows real love
Is what we all seek as sparkling diamonds now appear so near

Where the rivers flow down a mountain’s verdant slope because
There, in the highs and lows of these rivers, tears soak the Earth,
Falling and rising from the dust, ashes are memories of what was.

I have abounding faith in this life’s bond as Nature begins her rebirth,
Eclipsed by a peerless beauty inside, wild passions grown now strong.
A liquid sphere appears in our mortal lives reaching its point of girth.

In the cerulean oceans mystic gulls cry deep echoes bringing us along.
We find peace kneeling as a psychic mantel covers our thoughts pure,
As that special circle of brilliance radiates within life’s treat so strong.

By God’s hand the ancient dust of creation’s seed is with us to assure,
Mankind’s perpetuity on Earth as part of His most holy divine vision.
Only God knows mankind’s destiny rests in His divine hands for sure.

The ancient dust of creation’s seed is part of God’s omnipotent precision,
For He’s the one who shall guide us all heavenward by His final decision.

The Watch Maker

                  The Watch Maker…

Let me be, leave me alone, I'm Him, leave me alone.
I'm in pain; let me be, let me be, on my own.
All the time, every night, only see vanished sights,
Let me be, being alone, tired of silent nights.
In this world of darkness, I feel pain and sadness.
Nothing there in my heart, only beats emptiness.
In this sad cave of time, I suffered from my crime.
I suffered with this pain, loneliness, all the time.
Time is pain, I feel trapped, I cannot face the fact.
Who am I? Watch maker, I don’t know how to act.
Fault me not, if I did, what I did for my own,
I am here, lonely nights, sleepless, all alone.
What I did in my mind, I made it partly blind,
I made it for my sake, what I hoped yet to find.
I have dreamed a shiny sun, shiny sun, seemed like fun
No more fear no more fright, a good deed I have done.
With the light I can see, lushes land full of trees,
Shinning jewels red and green, dancing with morning breeze.
I made birds flying high, no more pain no more cry.
Rainbow near, out of clouds, ocean there in the sky.
I made grapes; I made wine, holy wine suits me fine.
I made sobers, I made drunks, drunks for me are divine.
I gave love; I gave truth, to all men sins of youth.
I gave life, I gave death, I gave all reckless truth.
Do not bother me tonight, I’m dreaming of the light,
If I wake up tonight, all your days will be night.
I need you more than I; if you live I don’t die,
Who is it? You or I; if we’re one both can fly.
Am I drunk, maybe mad? Let me be, I’ll be glad.
Don’t wake me from this dream; I will be so so sad.

Still Out Back

Hints of warmer days and barbeque dreams
filter through the last gasps of winter air
cold drinks and late nights soon to be seen
through tiny openings of the back door screen

I've been knocked down, stained and hammered
screwed tight over and over and about to be stripped
laid out, measured, broken, rotted and ripped
rained on, burnt up and walked upon by lesser men

I'm weathered and worn but I'm still alive out back
my creaks tell a different story as I sway in the wind
inebriated adventures still speak of regretful moments of sin
the birds have all used me and I'm barely hanging on

Still standing in a spot of your last shooting star wish
Waiting for some attention and that first springtime kiss

You Are My Sky, And I, Your Softest Blue

You Are My Sky, And I, Your Softest Blue

I hold this, thy sweet image close and fast
In memory seas, sailing to me at full mast
Soon shall come this soul to thy heavenly rest
Are my prayers for our Love in each request
My life lived, only to one day be with you
You are my sky, and I, your softest blue

Precious are those days we once danced
Living for each moment each hour we romanced
Thy kiss, nectar that my dreams now gift
Now I often pray my passing be swift
For my love burns hotter each lonesome day
In thy glowing love embers, I seek to play

I await sweetest moment of our first reunion kiss
That smile and thy touch I now so miss
Darling, my love, please pray my departure soon
I long for thee again this sad month of June
Our Love's fire yet burns, I allow no cold ashes
Nor destroying storms that true Love crashes

I hold this, thy sweet image close and fast
In memory seas, sailing to me at full mast
Soon shall come this soul to thy heavenly rest
Are my prayers for our Love in each request
My life lived, only to one day be with you
You are my sky, and I, your softest blue

Allow The Dawn To Wake Us

Allow The Dawn To Wake Us

I would write words for you, dipped in beauty and gold
my heart would burst for you, if it were just that bold;
with you, our romance cries out, for an eight day week
with you, I have found the truest of deep love I seek.

Walk with me, to paradise its bright singing birds
Talk to me, your voice sends golden, beautiful words;
stay this night, let our two souls and pure hearts entwine
allow dawn to wake us, let our loving hours shine.

Love does flow with heat for you from my melted heart
honey dipped allure your ambrosia does impart,
time together precious as racing pulse does chime
in amaranthine night of purple passion prime.

Basking in our luscious love lush and heaven-sent
rousing first blush bathes us embraced in our content;
sunrise spreads ardent reds blessing our love story
dawning dew thrills the bloom of our morning glory.

Oh How Bright Your Eyes Did Shine

Oh How Bright Your Eyes Did Shine
(by Michael P Clarke and Robert JLindley)

Oh How Bright Your Eyes Did Shine that morning,
I held you so close and the world was mine,
we shared our love as the day was dawning,
I drank from your goblet, our love divine.

Sunlit echoes played to our beating hearts,
precious, very precious our love-held Time.
We had it all and all that bliss imparts,
our days and nights joyous, dreams so sublime.

Our song it was sung our hearts love displayed,
love was our journey a heaven divine,
now in our hearts memories we replay,
Love in our summer that ever did shine.

May forever, dawns wake us together.
In true depths of love, bid us fair weather.

Michael P Clarke and Robert JLindley collaboration.

Truly was an honor and great pleasure to collaborate with my very talented friend, Micheal PClark on this sonnet..
Such inspiring verses Michael presented for me to write to

Golden Notes, Within Love's Newfound Treasures

Golden Notes, Within Love's Newfound Treasures

As river rose, waves lapped on eager banks
bright as gold, love and its true romance gives
for its blessings we give eternal thanks,
within that paradise one truly lives.

As flowering meadows greet dawn's new rays
hours flow to moments of deepest pleasures
two lovers find night's joy, delightful ways,
and wrap themselves in love's blessed treasures.

Upon midnight moon's, shining love sent beams
both hearts dancing to such beautiful songs
cool winds touch and enhancing starlit gleams,
enjoy love's depths away from noisy throngs.

When such jewels are gifted from afar.
Brilliant are the glows of united stars.

You took my life as I gave you yours

Nervous, apprehensive, determined most of all
Excitement on hold, a job to be done
His greatest gift, holy, our creation.
I was prepared, clarity in vision.
Betrayed, a body incapable of my goal.
The journey we started forced to an end,
Mind over matter now meaningless sentiment.

Consent hurriedly signed as corridors sped by
Smell and sounds unfamiliar to our plan,
Masked faces, green gowns occupy our space
Determination gives way to trepidation uncontrolled.
Your father takes my hand, soul now stilled
Presence of his strength restoring all calm.

Searing pain, tearing through me, more than I can bare
Again the end goal grows too far,
You are within reach, unable to be touched
The seconds tick by, clock jealous of our need.

Finally the cocoon that was your home releases you,
A screwed up face and manhood presented to me.
Overwhelmed, emotions lightening in speed
You are here, your arrival the greatest event.

An afternoon spent lost in your gaze,
Confirmation perfection on earth exists.
Stars appear in the night sky
Wearily, with reluctance, utata kisses us goodbye.

The phone call arrives,
Urgency the need,
The greatest day turned inside out.
Your life safe I faced my own mortality
Seconds, minutes, hours all pass by
Again and again dark skies give way to light.

Awake! Scared! Fear foremost in my mind.
What happened to my child?
Why do I not feel you near?
Your father’s hand never far from mine
His eyes reflect my fear,
But knowledge gives him ease, relief has found him.

Tests, observations, all stealing time from me
Never a woman’s need for her kin has been so great.
The warmth of your skin a glove to my heart.
A life spared, second chance, saved by God’s grace.

The years pass by, 10 in all,
Sometimes you question my humanity
Forever I reassure you I will never leave.
Your heart, your blood they are part of me,
Entwined are our souls, never to be freed.

You took my life as I gave you yours,
It was You who gave birth to me,
For you created a mother,
A higher being.

Treasured forever in her heart
she will go out of her way
to preen and protect them
holding them dear to her
deep within her maternal safe – the heart
closely guarded by the mind
Her infatuation of all treasures to her
are totally understandable
especially when you think to the complexity
of structure and process taken in creation
Just as from the ‘unbreakable’ in ancient greek
this allotrope of carbon
with strength of bonding between atoms
is representative of that strong love
between mum and child
The maternal being could be compared
to the superlative physical qualities of the stone
Even the characteristic luster
of this gem so prevalent from its ability
to disperse light and colour
compared to the many strengths
roles and qualities of the mother
seen by the many she deals with daily
A most high pressured job
versus the high pressured temperature
within the Earths mantle
that forms the delightful rock it gives birth to
Infants delight and ignite the forbearer
just as the jewel would dazzle the room
a mother’s love encaptures the magical luster
of those she’s birthed and nothing
stands inbetween this richest of cargo’s

The Big Bang

Time: T minus 3 minutes
Launch Control: It's a go
He's in love
going where
he's never gone before
with the woman
a light brown goddess
that hurtles him into outer space...

Mission Control: You're go for launch
Launch Control: Roger
all rockets fire
like lava from a volcano
red orange, yellow flames
I am in zero gravity
as her lips touch mine
I am weightless...

I pass the sun
asking it about the Big Bang
the sun replied
it's great to become...

I wave to Orion
as he faces the charging Taurus
giving them a wink
through my small portal...

I have always dreamed
of exploring the Milky Way
and to see the stars
the way she launches me
from ground zero...

I can't wait
until tomorrow night
to once again
put on my space suit
and board her shuttle
this lady I've dreamed of....

Countdown
to another lift off!

Myself, Armed Only With A Dying Flame

Myself, Armed Only With A Dying Flame

Dark travels in such a long life
early days of hungering strife
A child born to fight for it
tasting ton of salt in every spit

Lost on pathways that breathe my aches
Prod me restless as I sever the chase
Between day and night and promises I made
To myself, armed only with a dying flame

Days sinking past like a slow tide
no softness, that one could abide
As years sent life into a dark spin
easy came toughness, pain and sin

I have seen more than I ever could
Branches of bitterness carved deeply in wood
Wandering eyes dismissed them as facades of a man
Who fell victim to the ride as the years fell down

Is there saving grace if I stop at none
I may have foreseen it all but I doubted I’d come
To terms with myself and make me turn around
From the edge of this cliff and fade away void of sound

Then came love trying its very best
softness, weakness in every test
Blade drawn to parry each thrust
to live on never daring to trust

Swiftly gone like a bygone air
I may be nothing more than despair’s heir
Constricted by premises that haunt every corner
Shutting my eyes will mean absolute surrender

A weak moment, hell bore on down
life melted, each day a new frown
Love had been accepted with grace
she left without a path to trace

Sad night , the fight no great cause
clocks stopped, universe hit pause
Time yielded no forgiving reprieve
love lost, nothing , nothing to retrieve

I was again left to remain
I have but myself to blame
When the rain comes to ease the pain
I know I’ll be whispering your name

A bloody Rose

Roses here, Roses there, bloody roses everywhere. February brings them to our life, while others hide a broken wife. Young girls dream of their shining white knight, when do you think they'll see, it's nowhere in sight. Single men try everything to be romantic, ask every young girl, they still haven't learnt it. While romance fills their heads, I'm aware of the last lives it brought to death. The rose is not this passionate flower, butt the very thing that causes humans lives to go sour. Nine months later, in mid of November, young girls begin the day they will always remember. With the babies cry with its first breath of life, There's a dad trying to work out how to tell his wife. A family is born, and a family is broken, this is all because, of that bloody rose. written 14th of February 2017

Are We There Yet, I Really Have To Pee

This is something other than unsure laced with heavy heart.
I'd love to change my mind, is this where you take charge?
When our play begins, the starring role I'm begging you to take.
Open your eyes, I won't sit around and wait.
Would you instantly be swooned if I could be your tin foil dream?
Would you cook me in a spoon, shoot me right through your blood stream?
A rush that lasts longer than fifteen seconds, a force that beckons for all of your attention.
I want to illuminate the dark corners, where you hide the secrets that border,
The hurt that you and I refuse to admit, the shit that resides far beneath the surface,
Those things that just never quite seem fit and yet we both allow them to exist.
Between a cut and a hole, is there really a difference at all?
Knowing what I know, why do I keep interest in something I cannot control?
She's got what you need and she's got you by the balls,
I have nothing that can compare to her thralls.
But this is just an embellishment of events as seen in my head.
This is my heart written on paper that cannot be readMaybe if I do it like this, it will make more sense.
I hope you'll let me find solace in you because I know I can do better but I don't want to believe it is true.
This where I lose rhythm and ask you to lie and tell me you'll do anything, but darling don't take the time to try.

I Love That Bug

In Deutschland they're called Schmetterling
Mariposa down in Spain,
And although they're called, by different names
They're really quiet the same
Borboleta sounds like fun to say
and Farfalla twist my tongue
But when they're seen in France
They're simply Papillon
But in the Scottish hills
Where they migrate with desire
They call them Dalán-dé
When trans-lated mean "Gods Fire"
No matter what you call them
When their beauty meets my eye
I have to take a moment
To enjoy the Butterfly

Transition From Deep Dark To Brightest Light

Transition From Deep Dark To Brightest Light
(Chained Sonnet--100 words)

Within dreams sent into this world of shades
shades full of heartaches and long slashing blades
blades severing sleeping rest on soft nights
nights of diminished hope and sharpest pains.
Pains of death at this sad door now knocking
knocking that promise evil in the flesh
flesh burnt hot, flayed back exposing raw nerves
nerves once made of black iron and hard steel.
Steel born of ancient warrior's deepest pride
pride in truth, honoring family name
name reminding one of future promise
promise of blessings and rewarded fame.
Fame's generosity and greater love
Love pure, in serving only God above

Dead Spiders Weave

“It’s a terrible love
And I’m walking with spiders…
It’s a terrible love and I’m walking in
Its quiet company…”-Birdy

Three long claws enclosed around a lone beating heart
Stone talons gripping in happy malice, silently angry by its pulse it cannot feel…

The longer I stare into the hollow sockets seeing only ugliness,
The easier it becomes to break into pieces over the mere thought of you
I thought it was a dull beat- a throbbing, fading beat disappearing into the night…
Though your image, once so grainy, is becoming clearer and clearer in the fogs of my consciousness
I thought it was just a dull, callous beat…
But the more it throbs against the stone, the more the stone cracks
The more the demon cries in anguish…the more I fall

So deeply in love have I become,
I can barely breathe in this misty embrace
The suspense of your blows make my innards whimper…make my mind shiver
My tearful eyes cry for your assurance
My body changes through the peeks of your light

It is all a joke!
This is all pathetic, low, meaningless!
Surely these claws over this heart do not exist
Holding onto nothing but dead spiders who once weaved miracles
Dust and spider legs….spider eyes…they had seen so much…felt so much with their prickly appendages
Through a lovely peephole beyond the three stoned fingers…
I see the entire world where they must have crawled
A world holding you…
If only I could hold you too…

Something tells me I would never let go if I had the chance
Something tells me I would crush you
I would turn you into dust and spider legs…

And yes, as all demons enjoy, I would lose you
In the grip of the three stoned fingers

Unless…
You were that heart I thought I had seen…
The heart that continued to beat long after it was ripped out
The clenched heart that throbbed despite its crushing cage
The very heart that bled and bled for no body and all for the sake of love
Beating and beating, cracking those frigid fingers
Into dust…
And all of the fallen limbless creatures would gather round…
And they would tell me… “He lives yet still…”
Weaving in their webs the very bloods and salts you pumped
Within me…and beyond me

Dead spiders weave and weave and weave…
And unlike human hearts, their ideas never tire

Love for someone,

Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?
The happiness you have received,
The realization of the world of sorrow.

Life has listened to me,
Why do you co-exit?
Love you all,
We all hate hatred.

Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?

Everyone broken my heart,
Why do you do me love?
Why do you want us everything?
We have given everything to us only punishment.

Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?
The happiness you have received,
The realization of the world of sorrow.
