Heart Broken Eternally

A sorrow sets in deep in the soul,
 To love and not be loved back,
 Is aa shattering agony deep within the soul spreading,
 A poison that clenches at the soul,
 Forming a pact to never love again.
 But to let bitter hate control every day of your life.

I Love You So

I love you so.

Every time we say goodbye,
A little piece of my heart dies.
You’re the one who makes me cry;
The one I love has the devil inside.
Hoping for an angel, but I know she just isn’t that type.

Something tells me you’ll be here later.
Something tells me you’ll stick around.
Something tells me you are worth fighting for;
Because without you, I’d be lost and never found.

Never found in love is to never live.
I need love to destroy my grief.

You do something to me that I can’t explain.
You keep me happy, in the pouring rain.

And I love you so.

Death Is Inevitable

Death Is Inevitable.

We spend our lives, fearing our deaths;
Scared of inhaling, that final breath.
Scared we may die, in the blink of an eye;
It is a consistent thought, throughout our lives.

But we cannot tell, what will happen tomorrow
And no man is able to avoid sorrow.
If it’s our destiny, to lose the one that we love tonight;
We cannot stop their fate, no matter how hard we try.

So rejoice in the fact, you’re alive right now…
For tomorrow you may be floating away into the clouds.

A Little Respect

A little respect

You and I, we have got a good thing going;
Don’t you think it’s time for you to be showing,
Me a little respect and changing your ways?
I have had enough of being the fool who you degrade.

Why do you stay with me and then do that?
Why do you feel the need to treat me so bad?
Just go, leave me alone, stop hurting me; get gone!
I’ve taken enough of your lies to write a thousand bitter love songs.

You don’t respect me enough to hate me,
So why do you have to treat me so shady?
Why do you have to do the things you do?
When all I ever tried to do was love you.

Epitaph

Epitaph

How do you grieve the loss of a loved one?
How can you possibly be expected to carry on?
How do you cope when a loved one is hurting?
How do you cope with the loss of your Mom?

You remember the good times you spent together;
You remember the times you laughed and cried.
You remember your loved one always, forever;
You forget the fact your loved one has died.

They wouldn’t want to see you sad;
They would want to see you laugh.
They wouldn’t want you to suffer in silence;
Remember their love, for it is the best you will ever have.

So goodbye Nan,
Goodbye Mom,
Goodbye Friend,
Goodbye my loved one.

My Most Beautiful Muse

My most beautiful Muse

To my most beautiful Muse,
We are yet to meet, but I see through,
Your pain; for it is clear to hear,
Within your most delicate of words.

So softly spoken,
With no need for reaction.
Simply speaking the truth,
About this undeniable attraction.

This connection between us,
I see words pour between us and from us;
All around the world, love becomes much clearer to see;
To all of us
And the love of lust, this thing brings to us,
Proves that love is the greatest of all aphrodisiacs…
That are known to us.

Untitled Sonnet (4)

To A.A.

With all my passion, love and hate,
With pain the heart can hardly bear
I can confess. But I aware
It is not, must not be too late,
Because a friendship to create
Is not a subject to declare.
We still have time and breathing air,
Give me a chance, my dear mate!
Between us was not all at ease,
You did not like me very much.
And I not always find could
The proper words. Forgive me these.
Discouragement it was as such,
That I ignorance yours withstood.

Stars In Your Eyes

Stars in your eyes.

I never want to see you cry,
But if I do; I will catch every star that falls from your eyes.
I believe in true love and my true feelings I will never hide.
I love you and I will always be on your side.

My eyes are useless to me without your eyes to find;
For from within your eyelashes, butterflies take flight.
Colours flow from you, all around me, brightening up my dull life.
Your eyes light up the room like Christmas tree lights,
In my darkest of nights.

From within your pure heart, your love shines
And in my coldest hour,
My dying hour;
You make me truly feel alive.

Plant a Baby

Plant a Baby

Why be average, when you can be extra ordinary?
Why write a letter of complaint, when you could write a story?

I have fallen head over heals and landed flat on my face;
I need you to pick me up and make me yours.
Love, love and hate, hate.
Let me paint you a picture of the two of us in love.

Harvest a baby and grow an acorn;
Fall makes leaves fall all around us,
To show summer has come and gone.
Pass the test paper, or at least try your best.
Grow a conscience and intellect, alongside your cress.

Create life with a seed and hope for a better tomorrow;
Plant a baby on Sunday and forever heal its sorrow.

You set my heart on fire.
You, are the only one that I desire.
Without you I am cold inside.
So do you want me or shall I just die?

The Hollow Made Complete

Each time I look back to where He took me
Speech escapes my lips, His love set me free!

This broken one in Mercy was made whole,
All the anger, pain, and fear left my soul.

My prodigal heart He filled with His peace
The hollow, nourished, and was made complete.
This life with all its joys and tears.... now His.

Headlights

I’m heading home now to see my Wife;
I’m gonna kiss her and hold her tight.
Because I think she is so wonderful;
My love I love you.
You are so beautiful.

Driving home on a winters night;
All I’m seeing are those damn headlights.
Those blinding lights, those bright, bright lights;
Those killer lights, have taken my life.

Said the Terrorist -2

Said the terrorist
Anger!
it grinds my teeth,
swells my face,
stare into my eyes,
forces me to procrastinate the demise
and or death of others.
This!
worse than the devil himself
who proclaims only to taunt.
While I!
A faceless person,
schemes and plan
for love,
for hate,
for selfish sinister intent,
to hurt others.
Truly I am worst than the devil.

Passion

Passion.

Do the things you love; they are the things that matter.
The things you feel passionate about,
Will bring you true happiness and all else will fade.

If you have to fake it,
Then it will not last forever.
If it’s real you will know and you will need it
And you will never find anything better.
Be passionate about something,
Because you only get one life;
So seize the day.

Slipping

Slipping

Broken TV, phone line cut off;
Electric meter empty, friends have been lost.
Bottles all drunken, food beginning to rot;
Clothes torn and fading, all hope is gone.

Money all spent to pay the rent and the debts;
Eye sight fading, nothing left.
Body decaying, love life non-existent;
Pity and mercy are not forthcoming,
Everything is lost in an instant.

Dirt on the skirting boards and on the walls,
Ambition without power.
Green water in the vase underneath the dead flowers;
One minute past happy hour, the milk tastes sour.

Laughter not possible, arms too weak;
Broken are the sandals that slip beneath my feet.

All That We Are

All that we are

These are my thoughts;
Your interpretation is your own.
What am I but naught?
We are not alone.

Love is in ashes,
Too broken to fix.
Multiple cures have been attempted;
This is all there is.

Beauty without,
Darkness inside.
I have no doubt,
You took my pride.

Burn it all away;
Tear it apart.
Today is not just another day
And this is not the start.

Now and forever,
Lost in the dark.
Thoughts sent to never;
All that we are.

An Alcoholic's Hymn Andaree

Dear Libations, please, leave me light and hazy,
   to some, drunken love, seems quite crazy;
         they don’t understand your taste
              and your hard embrace.
                    One more shot
                         chased
                   with the thought,
                 it’s you and I, Grace,
               it’s only us in this race!
            I will never curse us with AA
dear Libations, please, leave me light and hazy.

The Eyes Never Lie

The eyes never lie

Your eyes are a mirror view.
Show me what I want to find in you.
A mask of question marks mean there could be a truth,
But it will probably never be discovered,
When I am so used to being used.

All I want is some sexy fire eyes,
But I don’t know how to wait and still be bothered.
Love comes and goes, like the flame inside,
But every time I kiss, I end up being clobbered.

Eyes rarely change, maybe someday,
I will see you differently, but for now I can only look away.
I fear too much to ever trust,
So I will never ask you the question I have been longing to say.
