Love Poem: You Belong To Me

You Belong To Me

Birds belong in the heavens, and fish belong in the sea,
you, my incomparable love, belong right here with me.
Your adorable radiant smile lights up my dreary days,
I find such solace in your embrace; I scarce can count the ways.

Like the moon and the stars that overflow in the night,
you fill my life with a love that’s pure, solid, and so bright.
Through life’s ups and downs, we’ve stood hand-in-hand; together, we’ll conquer the world, and the test of time, we’ll stand!

Just like birds find freedom way up high in God’s celestial sky,
with the wind of your love to carry me, I spread my wings and fly.
And like fish that scamper gracefully beneath the ocean blue,
I cherish our moments together, immersed in a love deep and true.

In your eyes, I see a universe of incredible moonlit dreams
where our love blooms eternal, like endless sunrise beams.
So I consign to you all my love from the bottom of my heart,
a journey of two souls with one goal until death do we part.

For you are my everything, my heart’s sweetest melody,
my endless love forever and always, together in perpetuity.
With you, I’ve found my true love ’twas written in the stars,
my darling; you belong with me; I read it in the cards.
