You and I and We

You and I and we,
How wonderful it use to be.
Love is a beautiful thing,
If you would only wear my ring.
How can things change,
In such a short time,
It is so strange,
I wish you were mine.
But you are not,
And never will be,
Is something I haven’t forgot,
You wanted to be free.
Now you do as you please,
But are you happy as can be,
Or do you only feel,
The cold breeze?
Are you seeing lonely sunsets like I
Why oh why?
I thought our love would never die.
I wish this were not goodbye.
