Whispers of Light

A chorus of cherubim chimes in beside me.
No blanket of stars could ever quite hide me.
My quaking heart is beating so loudly.
Yet I sing along-hold my head up quite proudly.

These sweet angel voices are calming my spirit.
If I close my eyes I surely can hear it.
Then a whisper of light floats over my way.
I'm so overcome and don't know what to say.

Now angel's voices are so softly singing.
Into my heart is the love that they're bringing.
I'm feeling such peace as they speak to my soul.
They wrap me in comfort when life takes it's toll.

The stars in my eyes are the better for seeing.
I'm grateful for every angelic being.
There's a chorus of cherubim sent from above.
Now I fear not for they're about love.
