What Do I Do

Cold whispers in my ear, all I hear is goodbye; it’s not you it’s me
The same lips that once told me we would be forever break my heart
Beautiful hands that held me tight all night for all those years
Now cold, with no life and full of hate hold me one last time
You let go and my whole world crumbles right in front of me
I trembling with fear for I do not know where tomorrow is
What do I do to make things right?

Moments we had, memories we made and the love we shared
Still planted inside my heart like a crystal embedded in stone
The day you left my soul was cold and I alone
I still see and feel the pain as if the moment has just passed
With each passing day the pain grows more and more
Time won’t heal my broken heat for you are the heart that kept me going
What do I do to make you love me again?

I am who I am, different from the rest, but I truly loved you with all I had
I may not shed tears but the pain is so much my soul cries out for my heaven
You were my heaven, you are my heaven, and you will always be for you are my life
All I want, no, all I need to heal is you, I need my heaven, I need my heart back
Please hear me, love me again, and tell me you will love me again
What do I do to make you want me again? What do I do to make you care again?
