Love Poem: Walked Thousand Miles

Walked Thousand Miles

I walked and walked tirelessly for thousands of miles
crossing vast dales and steep soaring mountains far,
in search of you, my beloved, found you at last..
How did I not know where my true love were!

O my angel, we met at untainted dawn of life
when we hardly recognized how passionate we felt
my world broke down as sandcastles on a sea-shore, I..
crushed, forlorn, like a broken-winged bird, the day you left

I will never forget the desperate feeling
of a dreary painful loss being without you,
you tip-toed softly in my dreams, your angelic face
shining like a shimmering star in azure blue.

endless journey of love…in summer, in winter,
eternal quest continued in incessant rain
stormy rough nights, the blustery wind whooshed and howled,
blinded my musing eyes, I was in ceaseless pain.

All my life I walked and walked tirelessly for you,
thousand miles of vast dales and steep mountains far
You finally with me, my life at harmony
How did I not know where my true love were!
