Two Wrongs Make a Cold Night

I know that it was wrong
Boy, I’m not looking for a fight
You know we both have our problems
Our days turn into long - lonely nights

Yea – hey I’m guilty
And you’ve been around a time or two
He really didn’t mean that much to me
You say - she didn’t mean that much to you

So we say were committed
We say our love is true
Yet you keep running back to her
And I play the same O game with you

What happened to that dream?
All we do is cheat and fight
All I can tell you baby

Two wrongs make a cold night

I saw you with her yesterday
Even your ball cap couldn’t hide
I saw you kiss her
Please, please don’t try to lie

Let’s talk - Is it really over?
So we can stop playing these silly games
Is it over?
Can things ever be the same?

So we say were committed
We say our love is true
Yet you keep running back to her
And I play the same O game with you

What happened to that dream?
All we do is cheat and fight
All I can tell you baby

Two wrongs make a cold night

[Bridge]

I know we’re not perfect
There’s so much work to be done
Maybe she gives you something?
Maybe he’s just for fun?

If what we have together
Is really worth the fight
Let’s start this whole thing over
And maybe work on it tonight?

So if we’re committed
Our love will be true
You’ll come running back to me
And I’ll be lovin up on you

Let’s recreate that dream
We’ll live it day and night
All I can tell you baby

Two wrongs make a cold night

Two wrongs make a cold night
