Two From the Pearlwood

In our bower,in our mansion
we have power,we have passion
we love living in our fashion
as the Pearlwood sings

fold your feathers 'round my shoulders
rest here while the world grows older
elsewhere hearts are growing colder
as the Pearlwood sings..............
pull a feather from your wings
drop it where the nightbird sings
floating down to us in wonder
haunting as the distant thunder
painted pony spread your dreams
all around us
tell us things
of the Pearlwood,of the bower
ere we reach the witching hour
spill sweet sonnets on our petals
share our love and test our metal
we beseech you,
fill our time, with your wonder
and your rhyme........

Out there in the weaving wonder
we see lightning,we hear thunder
we dig deeper,burrow under
as the Pearlwood sings.
