Love Poem: Two Fires, One Flame

Two Fires, One Flame

As passion burns, my heart starts to melt
Consumed, by the flame that is you
A fire so bright, that the sun starts to fade
Confused, it knows not what to do

Your breath on my skin can offer relief
With the warmth, I feel in your touch
The minute you smile, the light blinds my eyes
If I stare at you beauty too much

The moment you speak, a whisper of love
Can offer a kind gentle breeze
The beat of your heart makes time stand still
And can bring me to my knees

Each time we kiss, the embers awake
Surrounding our love with your fire
Alarm bells ring, when we finally embrace
From the overwhelming heat of desire

The love that we have, no one can touch
Two fires, with ony one flame
For no one has felt the love that we share
No, not since creation came
