Love Poem: Two But One

Two But One

Like two months dating without the first
Or an incense without a vivid essence,
Or Mrs. Nolan without the teacher’s edition,
All is two but one.

Like a teen who taunts not her parents,
Or a flamer who flips not his hips,
Or a rat who runs not in a relic residence,
All is two but one.

Like a beautiful forest minus trees,
Or a sting minus the bees,
Or a private school minus the fees,
All is two but one.

You see my point presented to you-
Voodoo may do doo doo but who knew I’d love you the way I do?
Like a magic stick picked and flicked
Upon two friends then bends and mends lovers unmatched!

You and Me
Is One so free
To do the deeds
That we please
And like the flea
We will never be
Two; but One
