Love Poem: Trembles and Thrills

Trembles and Thrills

TREMBLES and THRILLS Was it love that spelled when I caught a glimpse of him on a starless night? Flame of passion rise Frozen hearts thawed, now aflame When loving captures Hugging limbs of two entwined They, naked or clothed Their entranced display absorbed Bare or askew, loves spoken Of sweet spring night dream, a bed of blooms reach their peak, virginal petals under a bank of dawn clouds tickled, blushes rosy reds... Falling into wake, I stirred to feel summer breaths stroking my cold cheeks. I ask myself, was the dream I have, instantly came true? Minutes passed, we stood warm drops from sudden showers rolled upon our curves as heat surfaces from us; our bodies dancing again... Breaking morning rules we lie spooned for two more hours heartbeats sang refrains. Our song broken by soft rain, we dressed to begin our day. ________________________________________ 9:52 pm, November 01, 2015
