Tough Times
In times that are tough
Much is required from the few that are tough
To get the many who are not as tough,
Out of the rough.
In times that are tough,
Many decisions that are tough,
Will need to be made by the few that are tough,
To get the many who are not as tough,
Out of the rough.
In time that are tough,
Sticking with Love that is tough,
Will be tough for the few that are tough,
As they watch the many who are not as tough,
Sink deeper into the rough,
Before the love that is tough,
Can bring them back out of the rough,
To share the joy with those who have stuck with Love that is tough.
And when times again become tough
We can only hope, those bought out of the rough,
Only because the Love they were given was tough,
Will have learnt that there are times when Love has to be tough,
To get those who are not as tough,
Out of the rough.
