Touches of Sugar

Touches Of Sugar

Her Valentine bouquet
Carries his touches
Touches her heart
Touches it nice
Nice was the dinner and show
Nice was the ribbons and bows
Bows of cupid's arrow of love
Bows of nuts dipped in chocolate
Chocolate delights
Chocolates in a box preserved

Preserved is her sweetness
Preserved are her lonely harp strings
Strings for his heart to play
Strings excite at once
Once it began
Once a precipice
Precipice to seed
Precipice to grow
Grow, grow under the waterfall
Grow, like flowers to sun

Sun, sun so radiant
Sun, sun reins in it's beautiful head
Head he goes into passages of warmth
Head they go spinning out of control
Control their ebb and tides
Control of his head in the clouds
Clouds, clouds so cumulus
Clouds burst into nature's cries
Cry, cry an echo
Cry, cry a song duet

Duet sprang from their hearts
Duet, duet again
Again her bouquet gleams
Again spring flowers sing
Sing the petals to spring
Sing the stem to spring
Spring freshness permeates the air
Spring fertiles their souls
Souls began to grow from the night
Souls arose again

Again the clouds burst
Again echoes in the sky
Sky, now, a twinkle of stars and bright moon
Sky draping sweet lullabies to sleep
Sleep resting, embraced in bosoms
Sleep resting, spooned sugar
Sugar and spice crystallizing
Sugar drops under the auspices of tears
tears ...
crystallizing ...
