To Whom It May Concern

My hat off to the one who claims to know
To he who bequeath that love does grow
And he furthermore states in write and in sound
That 'tis better to have loved and lost than not at all

But I beg to challenge your case in question
For that I have done, and by no means feel it better
The nights I mourned the days I behaved
The feelings I posessed were by no means spared

Your words of truth do seldom speak not
For it is you I remembered in this time of lot
The days turned to months and the months shaped years
And in my eyes you could see nothing but tears

But fear not my good man
For believe you I must
However I must say, as fate has it your way
That I am over the bereaved and found the play

So I speak of this natter, nay heartfelt matter
To ode to you William Shakespeare dear
I speak from my heart for your words were truth
For 'tis better to have loved and lost than never at all!
