To Truth, Liberation, Peace and Love
(Amazing Grace and Purpose)
I cannot tell you who
you ought to be
nor what you ought
to do—
I am not you—
truth told—
all I can do is remind
you that truth and you
are realities of self…
Sadly…we often try
to make truth
the child of our desires
unaware that you can’t
make truth what it is not…
for truth—like you—is
the reality of its self
and can’t be anything else…
Neither can you be
but who and whose you are
in purpose—knowing
the purpose of purpose
is in knowing
that yours is to help others
to find theirs
for having found what we need
we must give to others
that they too
may know grace and love
to give…
Being gifted to give
let us not seek the miracle
but to give it to others
resurrecting liberty
and vanishing ghosts
of depressive oppressions:
liberating peace and love
overflowing life’s cup of grace
into its sipping saucer…
