To Stand For Christ
To stand for Christ brings eternal life
For He alone became the sacrifice
He paid the price-death on the Cross
That none of us would ever be lost
And held in bondage to flesh and sin(which keeps us from entering in)
The Kingdom of All Mighty God, the Creator and Maker of us all.
To stand for Christ means joy and peace
The Love of God that will release
Us all from pains and stress and strife
And leads to rest where Christ is Lord and Life is blessed and filled
With God's true grace and happiness.
To stand for Christ will pave the way
For all to rejoice and not dismay
And leave behind that worldly shell
That in times past made us rebel
Against the Holy Creator, His Kingdom and salvation plan
That is most essential for mortal man
To dwell in harmony and love
Sent down through Him
From Heaven above.
To stand for Christ has great Reward
When minds unite in one accord-
When Faith in Him and what He's done
Brings blessings overflowing to every one.
He made it possible for all mankind
To reap the benefits of a transformed mind which changes the hearts of sinful
men
To know His will and understand the joy in knowing and living the Godly Way that
we must live through Him each day.
