To Say Goodbye

I cant bear to let you see these tears fall from my eyes
So I’ll just let my pen cry
It may be pride
But it’s probably the pain on the left side
Of my chest and I can’t believe
The way you’ve made it beat
I can’t believe that I love to kiss your feet
Fairy tale the way we came to meet
Forbidden when our souls chose to greet

I remember how sure I was
When I said this was a fling
I remember how torn I was
When I found out how our hearts sing
In perfect harmony
Now I hate having to let you go
You can’t leave before you know
The content on my insane brain
Ruled by my selfish heart
Knowing that it’s gonna die
When that plane takes off
With the love of my life inside

Went from a fling to
Twisted to
Too early then full blown adore
Past your boundless beauty to so much more
Past your lips to we talk
And we walk
Hands wrapped together
The gifts you’ve given my heart
Too much to measure
Basking in a love filled with interminable pleasures

Czechoslovakian Bitter
My mind haunted with intermittent
Glitter, doesn’t stop even when I’m with her
Your eyes, your smile, your scent
Wreak twister-ed havoc with every moment spent
I pull you close
The destruction gets worse

What intensifies this curse
Is a pain never rehearsed
Walking out of each other’s lives
After all we said we wouldn’t but still took that dive

Time passes and feelings grow
But you leave and we may have to grow
Apart, I don’t want to but may have to go
And let you grow
But if that ever happens just always know
That my love for you will never die
It’ll forever grow
