To My Soul Sister

To My Soul Sister ---- Billie Jo.
Now is the perfect time to tell you how much your friendship means to me. You’re not just a friend, you’re my best friend, the one I choose as family, you are my soul sister. You outshine the stars above and your sparkling personality lights the way even in the darkest of times!
No one could make me laugh the way you did. Even more importantly no one is as real as you were and no one else has been there for me throughout my life in the moments when I needed it the most. Moments that were sad, scary, and confusing like when I was nearing the end of my time. It meant so much to have you in my life, as you were my angel forever glowing. You were special and the greatest gift my heart has known.
You have been my best friend whether near or far and my secret diary too. You mean the world to me and I will always love you. One thing I can tell you for sure is, there is no better friend than a chosen sister. And there is no better sister that you, the one I choose. With you I could laugh a little harder, cry less often, smile a lot more; all because I shared life-with you. You have always been in my heart and thoughts; you were always just a phone call away. I knew you would come if I just said the word. Talking to my best friend was sometimes all the therapy that I needed.
You are a piece of my past that I carried with me. Time heals almost everything but talking to you and knowing you were there brought comfort beyond any words. Everything comes to an end but as times passes and so do I, you will remain in my heart for the journey ahead. As we have learned life is a one-way street and I am not coming back. I thank you for all you have been to me and done for me as well.
With you my soul sister, my best friend, the one I chose to be by my side in heart and spirit; everything will be taken care of and I can pass knowing I had you, the best person ever in my life.
