Love Poem: Title Wave

Title Wave

He kept "hanging around"
Hoping for a glimpse down her top
Since he can remember he's been "obsessed with flat"
Perhaps one day it would be "engraved upon his stone"
No beer or big boobs for this poor stiff!

He was afraid his excitement might show
"Ripping" through his zipper
Revealing his "optomistic white" underwear
Yet part of him imagined it "Escaping Gravity",
Would she look at it and ask "Penny for your thoughts?"
Would there be a "Before and beyond the bed"?
For now he would be happy with just one glimpse
His friends all thought him a bit weird
In the end he'd rather be under her
Than "Under the weight of words"!

For fun I took the titles of my last 9 poems and tried to tell a story.
