You with your poised
arrogant air.
Those steps you make,
your stride so sure,
moving again,
towards the door,
leaving again...
If you knew how each step
crushed

would it stop you?
I wonder in silence...
Or would you proceed to vacate
my heart and needs again?
I wish you hadn't smiled
as you slammed the door.
