This Life We Have
This Life We Have…
This life we have is for a brief moment.
On the road to eternity…
It’s a “postponement.”
This life we have will not be here for long.
This world that we live… We don’t belong!
This life we live isn’t really yours or mine.
It was purchased by Jesus’ blood… HIS love divine!
This life we live isn’t really ours alone.
We need to make plans for our eternal home!
This life we live was meant to be…
Living with God for all eternity!
This life we live is like “one short day.”
One day, our breath “will be taken away.”
This life I live… I’m giving to Christ above.
And give him my heart and all of my love!
This life I live,… It’s going to be…
Much more of Jesus… And a lot less of me!
This life I live… I have one thing in mind…
Living for Jesus for the rest of my time!
This life I live… I know I’ll be blessed!
Because living for God is always the best!
This choice I made has brought peace within!
God has brought forgiveness for my every sin!
This choice can be yours! God’s offer is given!
Won’t you allow him to change how you’re livin’?
