This Day I Have Your Heart In My Hand
Upon finding your touch I dearly sought
more of that softest, warming flame.
Emotional tie that can never be bought
found whenever you but whisper my name.
This day I have your heart in my hand!
Gentle touch, music to my longing ears
looking back I see a vanished pain.
My dark deep longings wrapped in fears
find touch reassures me again and again.
This day I have your heart in my hand!
As I so happily travel into your world
golden fish swim in my new streams.
A love goddess must have surely hurled
you down to me from my sweetest dreams.
This day I have your heart in my hand!
As we rest and watch the bright red sun
love rays glow out from our hearts.
Glowing romance can never be undone
tis' written in our deep loving star charts.
