There Is a Fountain
There is a fountain;
A fountain of boundless love;
Found in that place called heaven
Where the angels dwell above.
Why do we pray so little
And drink not at this fountain sweet?
What must the angels think;
No appointment of prayer we complete?
God’s heart of infinite love
Is supplied in abundance for all.
It’s a fountain of privilege
For every single mortal.
This fountain has many colors
And plays to music as well.
Heaven’s fountain of love
Spills over with great joy to tell.
This fountain touches lives
And provides our water of life.
It changes hardened hearts,
Greatly affected by sin and strife.
It changes the countenance
And brings such joy to the soul.
Where once the heart was empty,
It fills it up and makes it whole.
Yes, there is a fountain
That flows over with God’s love.
It’s too beautiful to even imagine,
But as close as a hand in a glove.
We only need to ask for it
To flow into our empty hearts,
So that we can show others,
The beautiful fountain of love God imparts.
