Love Poem: The Wisdom of Love

The Wisdom of Love

Be gentle when you touch my heart I thought it immune to cupids dart To live with love I feel so blessed Negative feelings time to divest. When youthful follies are in the past Love's true meaning does encompass The past, the present what is to be I'm an open book it's me you see. No longer fearful of love sublime Now I am yours~ you are mine Together in the autumn of life Living in love there is no strife. Serenity follows day after day With wisdom, we've shed our feet of clay Turmoil has morphed now clear insight Friends in love who embrace twilight.
