The Used

In your eyes there's nothing there.
You don't honestly, truly care.
I am that doormat in front of your door.
Welcome. Why don't you just walk all over me?
Don't forget to wipe the dog crap off your shoe.
I won't tell anyone you stepped in it.
That would really hurt you.
I am like your left hand in the shower.
You use the left to hold the wash clothe.
Then use the right to grab the soap.
You don't really need the left.
The right one is your dominant one.
If ever you lost it, you'd be in real crap.
I am the left and she is the right.
You actually care about that one.
You need that one. Can't do anything to hurt it.
I am the doormat and your left hand.
You need me there but you don't love me.
Don't worry, babe. I'm not going anywhere.
