I eat human souls
I am called love
You never know from were I come
Or when I shall appear
I existed before mankind was born
I traveled from nowhere in the past
Into the hearts of all things, now and to be
I am the essence of life
I gravitate to the center of thought
A critical mass of the universe
I have come from darkness to light
You feel me in the stars, heavenly delight
You call me god
You call me science
You call me life’s mystery
I am the beginning, and the end
