The Song

A long time ago
battles raged across the universes.
The skies
once blue
and space
black
were filled with crafts of war.
Red and yellow fires

The fiery skies became
blue and soft.
Men and women

Their parents hugged them.
What was that you were singing?
They asked.
And they began to sing this song-
